Our experience was amazing! Everything was organized and run efficiently, plus the staff was super friendly. My daughter and I had the most fun time, we could have stayed all day!

Absolutely an amazing experience! I grew up with Barbie and this was a dream come true! There are many rooms and you get to see Barbie’s dream house, a lab, a museum or Barbies, museum of Barbie’s houses, her Camper Van, space shuttle, interactive rooms etc.

The venue is located within Santa Monica Place that features a parking structure with ample Parking. World of Barbie does not validate any parking ticket and is not responsible for anything that happens outside the event.

The parking of the Santa Monica Place offers two parking places: Structure 7 and Structure 8 that operate 24 hours daily. The first 90 minutes are free. $2.00 for the next hour and between $2.00-3.00 for each additional 30 minutes. $20.00 daily maximum on weekdays and $25.00 daily maximum on weekends. The first two levels in all structures will be dedicated to 3 hour parking only. All-day parking is available on all upper levels.

This Life-Size Barbie Dreamhouse Is Coming To Los Angeles In April

Turning Barbiecore into a reality.

Now is your chance to step inside Barbie’s Dreamhouse. That’s right, you can finally live “in a Barbie world” with the Barbie house experience, which is coming to Los Angeles this April. Instead of shrinking down to the size of a doll, the immersive experience will bring Barbie’s world to life for you to explore with your besties. The Insta-worthy pop-up will not only include the iconic Dreamhouse, but Barbie’s pink camper van as well.

Barbie is really having a moment right now. With updates on the Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling keeping fans on their toes and brands releasing their own nostalgic Barbie collabs , Barbiecore is here to stay. If you’re down to take your fandom to the next level, you’ll want to stop by the World of Barbie immersive experience . Last year, People reported that the World of Barbie would be touring U.S. cities like New York, Chicago, and Dallas after its debut in Toronto, and it seems Los Angeles is first. Of course SoCal would be Barbie’s first choice for a U.S. debut. It’s close to her Malibu home, and you can get tickets to the World of Barbie starting in March.

Aside from Barbie’s Dreamhouse being human-size, there are other activations and Insta-worthy photo moments throughout the experience that any fan will want to see for themselves. You just want to make sure you snag a ticket before they sell out.

What Is The Barbie House Experience?

It’s time to dig through your closet for the cutest pink ‘fit you own, because the World of Barbie immersive experience was made for the ‘Gram. The main attraction is Barbie’s Dreamhouse, where you can walk through her living room and kitchen while admiring the cutest Barbie-inspired decor. You’ll also get a chance to hang out in her backyard, which has lawn chairs and a pool — aka ball pit — that you can jump into. Prepare to snap some super cute pics of you and your besties lounging around like you’re having the perfect summer day at Barbie’s house.

Of course, when at Barbie’s house, you definitely want to check out her closet. As you make your way through, you’ll get a chance to see many of her iconic outfits and career uniforms from over the years. You know Barbie is the OG boss babe, so there will be tons to see. If you arrive in Barbiecore style, you’ll have a chance to show off your lewk in the fashion studio. The studio will have a pink carpet you can walk down that is lined with life-size Barbie boxes to step into and take a pic. You may even feel like you’re in *NSYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me” music video.

Along with seeing Barbie’s career outfits, you can also pretend to be her. The World of Barbie will have play sets like a space center, where you can snap pics in Barbie’s spaceship with your besties. There will also be a movie theater with Barbie content playing, and a salon with Paul Mitchell products. Afterwards, relax in Barbie’s pink camper van that has a cozy hammock for you to lounge in as you live “life in plastic.”

Exclusive to LA will be special after-hour events happening at the Barbie pop-up. For example, there will be a Pink Carpet Night where guests can wear their best Barbiecore fashion and enjoy a night of dancing, walking the pink carpet, and chowing down at the snack bar. Every Sunday at World of Barbie will be a Movie Day, where Barbie animated movies will be playing in the theater and popcorn will be available. There will also be a 21 and up night called Sips After Sunset hosted by special guest influencers with a DJ and fun cocktails.

World of Barbie Opens Its Doors in Santa Monica for a Larger-Than-Life Immersive Experience

Fans of All Generations Can Step Into a Life-Size Barbie Dreamhouse

World of Barbie, an immersive experience produced by Mattel, Kilburn Live, and IMG, finally made its US debut on April 14 after a successful three-month run in Toronto. The 20,000-square-foot attraction, located at Santa Monica Place in Santa Monica, CA, invites fans of all ages to step into a world where they can explore a life-size Barbie Dreamhouse, try out different Barbie careers, and even drive a full-size Barbie Camper Van. The experience also features a bespoke Barbie exhibit that showcases how the doll, her Dreamhouse, and her vehicles have evolved over the years.

“We are thrilled to bring this attraction to Los Angeles after a wildly successful, extended run in Toronto,” said Julie Freeland, Senior Director of Global Location-Based Entertainment, at Mattel. “As the number one doll property worldwide and the most diverse doll line on the market, Barbie is a global phenomenon. At World of Barbie, we are excited to offer guests of all ages a larger-than-life, inspiring experience that reminds fans why they fell in love with Barbie and that they can do anything and be anything.”

World of Barbie in LA will also host several new after-hours and special events, such as Pink Carpet Night, Movie Days, and Sips After Sunset. The touring production will be co-produced by IMG, who will help launch future international versions of the exhibition. Stephen Flint Wood, Executive Vice President, Group Managing Director, Arts & Entertainment Events at IMG, said, “We are incredibly excited to be working with Mattel and Kilburn Live to bring World of Barbie to the US for the first time. Barbie has never been more relevant, and this promises to be an immersive experience the likes of which has never been seen in LA.”

Tickets for the Los Angeles engagement start at $34 for adults and $26 for children and are available through live-entertainment discovery platform Fever . The World of Barbie exhibition promises to be an unmissable, world-class experience that celebrates the iconic Barbie doll and her impact on generations of fans.

World of Barbie features many interactive installations including: 

• Barbie Dreamhouse: Visitors will be able to explore the exquisitely designed rooms of the life-size Barbie Dreamhouse, complete with a patio and pool, a DJ kit for guests to mix music, and walk-in closets filled with garments from decades of iconic Barbie fashion history
• Barbie Camper Van: Fans can take the driver’s seat in this full-size camper van, built by leading car customization shop, West Coast Customs, or simply relax in a hammock
• Fashion Studio: Guests will have an opportunity to walk the pink carpet and pose inside one of the six Barbie boxes
• TV Studio: Visitors can step onto the set and become a news anchor delivering headlines in front of various TV studio backdrops, interviewing their guests, or giving the weather report
• Space Center: Visitors will be able to board a Barbie space shuttle to interact with mission control and travel to several interstellar destinations
• Salon: In partnership with Professional Beauty Brand, Paul Mitchell®, World of Barbie will feature a salon where guests can interact with Paul Mitchell products

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KABC) -- The new immersive experience World of Barbie is set to open its doors to the world famous doll's fans in Santa Monica next month.

The World of Barbie is described as a one-of-a-kind immersive experience that allows visitors to visit a life-sized Barbie Dreamhouse, chill out in a Barbie camper van and enjoy interactive rooms, such as a music studio, where you can try out several Barbie careers.

The experience opens on April 14 at Santa Monica Place.

Tickets go on sale on March 8 at noon.

Ticket prices will start at $34.

Barbie is opening the doors to her Dreamhouse.

Ahead of Greta Gerwig ‘s highly anticipated and star-studded “Barbie” film, out this July, the entertainment company Kilburn Live and Mattel have teamed up in creating an immersive experience called “World of Barbie” that initially kicked off in Toronto and will now tour across North America through the summer. The experience opens in Los Angeles’s Santa Monica Place on Apr. 14. Tickets are available on the Fever website for $34.50.

Of course, the highlight of the experience is Barbie’s Dreamhouse, where guests will be able to explore the exquisitely designed rooms of the life-size Malibu mansion complete with a patio and pool, and walk-in closets filled with garments from decades of iconic Barbie fashion history.

The Los Angeles run will also feature special events and after-hour celebrations. Starting in late May, 21+ guests will be invited to Sips after Sunset, a recurring event with DJ-driven music and specialty cocktails, while June will see the opening of Pink Carpet Night, where guests will be encouraged to wear their most glamorous, “Barbiecore” attire for a night of live music, dancing and drinks.

Warner Bros. released the official trailer for Gerwig’s “Barbie” film last month. While plot details have been kept tightly under wraps, the film does find Barbie and Ken stuck in the real world, where the former discovers the challenges of being a live woman. Robbie stars opposite Ryan Gosling, who plays Barbie’s longtime boy toy Ken.

Along with Robbie and Gosling, the star-studded cast includes Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Nicola Coughlan, Emerald Fennell, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Ncuti Gatwa and Issa Rae, among many others.

'World of Barbie' experience making US debut this spring in Los Angeles

Barbie's Dreamhouse is no longer a dream: Beginning this spring, you'll be able to step through the doors to her Malibu home and find out if life in plastic is really as fantastic as it seems. The World of Barbie, a partnership between Mattel and branded live entertainment group Kilburn Live, is an immersive experience that transports Barbie fans into Barbie's pastel pink world.

After a wildly successful run in Toronto, the World of Barbie is launching stateside. Tickets go on sale March 8 for World of Barbie's U.S. debut in the Los Angeles area at Santa Monica Place on April 14.

While there, you can lounge in Barbie's perfectly decorated living room and walk the pink carpet; you can also try on some of Barbie's fashionable personalities by stepping into life-size doll boxes with themes like "Western" and "fashionista." Outside, you can lounge on Barbie's patio and splash in the pool.

It is plastic, so no diving is allowed.

Not only will you be able to walk through Barbie's home, but you'll also have a chance to tour her very pink camper van and explore areas themed to a few of Barbie's many careers — including newscaster, lab scientist and astronaut. You can enjoy snacks from a Barbie-themed cafe and visit a museum that chronicles Barbie's history and evolution.

Special events will occur throughout World of Barbie's Los Angeles run. For instance, on Pink Carpet Night, guests are encouraged to don their best pink outfits. They can also enjoy Movie Days with Barbie animated films as well as Sips After Sunset nights with live music and themed cocktails.

The photo opportunities are endless, but World of Barbie's creators hope visitors come away with more than selfies.

Their goal is for kids to be inspired to dream big like Barbie — the only doll in history who has held down simultaneous careers as a pilot and a rock star and managed to look flawless doing both. Adults who grew up with Barbie can reminisce about the doll they've loved since childhood and admire how she has evolved throughout the years.

Tickets for Los Angeles World of Barbie dates start at $34 for adults and $26 for children. On the World of Barbie website, you can sign up for exclusive access to advance ticket sales and be the first to know if Barbie packs up her pink suitcase for a visit to your town.

Generations of kids, and for sure plenty of adults , are about to have their dreams come true as they’ll soon be able to spend time touring through a replica of Barbie’s Dreamhouse. They’ll be able to check out her closet, hang out near the pool in the backyard and even step into her bright pink camper van.

And there’s no need to shrink down to doll-size. All of this is part of a life-sized pop-up dubbed the World of Barbie that fully immerses guests into the iconic doll’s perfect pink life. The interactive, 20,000 square-foot attraction opens at Santa Monica Place on April 14 and tickets — which start at $26 for children and $34 for adults — go on sale starting Wednesday, March 8 at theworldofbarbie.com .

Barbie fans can check out all of the outfits and career uniforms in Barbie’s walk-in closet and hop into the driver’s seat of her full-size camper van, which was built by West Coast Customs, and imagine driving down Pacific Coast Highway.

There are plenty of photo ops throughout the exhibition including six Barbie boxes that will turn guests into various versions of the popular Mattel toy. There’s also a Barbie Space Center, where patrons can pretend they’re about to travel into outer space.

Barbie animated films will be screened on Sundays and other recurring special events will be scheduled throughout the duration of the pop-up as well. The World of Barbie previously took place in Toronto, Canada where more than 100,000 people visited during its more than two-month run there. The Santa Monica Place event will mark the pop-up’s US debut.

Photos: Immersive Barbie Experience Allows Fans to Step Into Life-sized Dreamhouse

Guests can step into Barbie's (life-sized) Dreamhouse at a new activation now open in SoCal called " World of Barbie ."

"This is a world, a world built specifically for Barbie fans so they can experience what it is like to walk into a life-sized Barbie playset," Mark Manuel, CEO of Kilburn Live, said in a news release.

The immersive exhibition -- which spans over 20,000-square-feet -- was imagined by live entertainment company Kilburn Live, Mattel, Inc. and global sports, fashion and events giant IMG.

You can "be who you wanna be" -- whether it's a news anchor at Barbie news central, an astronaut on Interstellar Airways or even a fashion model.
