How to Schedule a Visit

The method to schedule a visit is not the same for all locations. In most cases, you must use the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA) to schedule in-person and video visits. There may be times when you might need to schedule via email.

Check Facility Visiting Status Updates to view the current scheduling method.

Video Visitation

Video visitation is a great way to connect with your loved one over the internet, without having to worry about unpredictable crowds and overly busy visitation hours.

Visits can be scheduled and paid for in advance, allowing you to visit with inmates at times that are convenient for you.

We offer two types of Video Visitation services:

At-Home Video Visits

These video visits can be conducted at home on your PC computer, laptop or mobile device (Android).

Save travel expenses, time, long lines and parking fees with at-home video visits.

Ease stress on children who can now communicate without visiting the facility in person.

On-site Video Visits

On-site video visits are conducted at visitation stations at the facility.

With these visits, you are still required to travel to the facility.

Through our easy-to-use website, you can schedule, register, and pay for (if applicable) the visit in advance. Then, conduct the visit in real-time over the internet.

Please note: These services can vary by facility and are not available at all locations.

How It Works

  • Check to see if your inmate’s facility offers video visitation.
  • If video visitation is offered at the facility, go to www.gtlvisitme.com . Register yourself and all visitors participating in the visitations.
  • Select the facility where your loved one is located.
  • Search for your inmate, and add them.
  • Click “Schedule” to begin the scheduling process.
  • You will see the cost associated with your visit at the time of scheduling. Enter your credit card or debit card information to complete the scheduling process. You will receive a confirmation email and receipt for your visit.
  • For at-home video visits : sign in to the visitation scheduling site 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit. Test your connection, and follow the steps to start your visit.
  • For on-site video visits: arrive at the facility at least 15 minutes prior to check-in. A valid photo ID is required. Each facility has its own rules for on-site visits. Please review rules prior to arrival.

For additional helpful information and a list of useful questions about visitation, scheduling, and facility policies, view our v isitation FAQs .

What It Costs

Visitation costs vary by correctional facility and visitation duration.

Different types of visits may have different costs or no cost at all.

All costs associated with visits are clearly displayed at the time of scheduling. Visitors are aware of all the options and can choose based on their visitation preferences.

Ways to Pay

When scheduling fee-based video visitations through our visitation website , you will be asked to provide your payment information to complete the scheduling process.

We accept debit cards, charge cards, and Visa/Mastercard gift cards.

Too many issues

The app is not great I can’t even do a video visit with my love one my understanding is the inmate has to initiate the video visit and when he sends a request he is sending it to a email that I am not using to use the app. He talked with the gtl rep there in the prison and he’s being told that I have 3 accounts with connect network and I need to call in and ask them to merge my accounts this sounds crazy! What’s the problem with just using the email that I set up the app that’s the only that matters! I’m frustrated he’s frustrated that we can’t even do a video visit!

READ THIS FOR HELP

Have you tried to make a payment? Does it keep glitching whenever you try to make a payment? OK well I have some information here. The way you’re able to successfully make a payment/deposit to get FaceTime calls from an inmate is doing it on a computer an actual like laptop. When you go to the getting out website, do not login. hit the option to “continue as guest”… Now answer all of the questions and it’ll actually go to the payment option and it will successfully let you put in your billing information etc. and submit a deposit. I’ve read all of the reviews and I had not been able to be successful in making a payment using their app, but if you go to the “getting out” website on an actual laptop, computer and continue as guest, it’s like if you’re setting up a whole other account but you’re not. You’re continuing as guest and you’ve already registered and verified your phone number- do the family and friends option to make a deposit and you’ll be able to successfully make a deposit payment… Hope it works! another thing too is you actually never get the app to open up the FaceTime calls. It uses the Safari or Internet browser on your phone.

Very unreliable and complicated

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. I almost never leave app reviews but I have to speak up on this one. You have to make deposits to be able to communicate, and when you go to the deposit screen, it won’t allow you to make a deposit. It flashes out of the screen both on the app and on the website. It’s like they’re actively trying to disconnect inmates from their loved ones. I’m not sure how this works from the inside or who teaches people how to use it. It is NOT intuitive. Complicated to figure out how to get from place to place within the app. Separate apps for messaging versus phone and video. For somebody who is in jail for the first time, I have no idea how they know where to start with this. As a family member on the outside with somebody on the inside for the first time, it’s very discouraging. It’s almost criminal that jail systems allow this to be the only communication method with people incarcerated.

Virtual Scheduled Care

Receive care from anywhere in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.*

Fast clock icon

Experience the region’s top health care without the wait times.

*You have to be physically located in PA/NJ at time of scheduling.

Aren’t able to visit in person? Or simply prefer to meet from home? St. Luke’s has a solution: virtual scheduled care. This service allows you to access health care from wherever you are in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  So make Virtual Scheduled Care part of your health care experience.

What are the benefits of virtual scheduled care?

Telehealthcare has an array of benefits. Here are several of them:

  • You can see your doctor when you’re sick.
  • You can minimize travel time.
  • You can have more flexible scheduling options.
  • You can practice social distancing.
  • You can get care in a rural area.

If you’re interested in talking to a doctor online, then check with your provider to see if it’s an option for you.

Will my virtual visit be the same quality as in-person visit?

Patients express a high level of satisfaction when using virtual visits. However, a virtual visit is different from an in-person visit–so talk to your doctor to ensure that this type of visit is right for you.

How do I coordinate a virtual scheduled care visit?

For established adult and pediatric patients, call your office to schedule an online doctor’s appointment. Dozens of departments offer virtual visits — especially for follow-up appointments. If you need a referral, ask your primary care provider.

How long will my visit last?

Like in-person visits, virtual visit lengths may vary. You and your provider will determine a length that fits your needs.

How do I start my visit?

Starting your virtual doctor's appointment is easy with St. Luke’s mobile app:

  • Make sure you can access MyChart.
  • Log in to MyChart approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
  • Click or tap “Check in” to review forms.
  • Click or tap “Join”.

Once you’re checked in, your provider will join you shortly.

Do I need a MyChart account for my visit?

We recommend a MyChart account, but it's not required. You can also use the St. Luke’s mobile app or the Amwell link that we send you.

How do I reschedule or cancel my visit?

If you need to reschedule or cancel, you can do so through MyChart if the option is available. If it’s not, then please call the office directly and talk to the scheduling desk. Note that you must give a 24-hour notice.

On the day of my visit, how early should I join?

We recommend joining 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

Can more than one family member receive care during my visit?

Each individual would need their own visit. If two family members have appointments back-to-back, then they can share a device. However, you’ll need to speak with the office and let them know.

Can I get a prescription?

If the prescription is ordered by your provider. Then, it will be electronically sent to your preferred pharmacy.

Are all physicians employed by St. Luke’s?

All scheduled visits are with St. Luke’s physicians.

Will I see my regular physician at the virtual visit?

You’ll see the physician that you schedule with.

Will my visit be private?

Protecting your privacy and maintaining secure medical records are important to us. Here are our key precautionary measures:

  • Your visit’s video technology is HIPAA-compliant and has features that protect your information.
  • The video transmission is fully encrypted and transmitted through the St. Luke’s private network.
  • Your provider won’t record your visit.
  • Your provider will be in a private room.

Will can I find my visit documentation?

You can find documentation in your electronic medical chart with your other medical records.

Where will the documentation for my visit be located?

Documentation of your St. Luke’s virtual visits will live in your electronic medical chart with all your other patient medical records just as if you were in person. You can view this documentation in your MyChart account by accessing the appointment section and selecting the “past” tab. Each visit will have your provider’s notes and a visit summary.

What should I do if my virtual visit disconnects?

If you have a MyChart account, then start by logging back in and trying to rejoin the visit. If you can’t reconnect, then your provider will contact you by phone.

Can I use virtual scheduled care during an emergency?

Virtual doctor visits should not be used during an emergency. If you are experiencing any life-threatening conditions, then call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What if I’m out of state or traveling?

You can access St. Luke's Virtual Scheduled Care service only if you are located in PA/NJ at the time of scheduling. If outside of PA/NJ, you can avail of St. Luke's Virtual Urgent Care  service throughout the US.

They will also receive notification from ViaPath that any scheduled visits have been cancelled.

Only persons cleared and approved by the Michigan Department of Corrections will be permitted to participate in an in-person visit. Approved visitors can schedule a visit  here . Visitation Scheduling

Configurable Visitation Scheduling Solution

A Safe, Secure, and Fully Automated Visitation Management Solution

The GTL visitation management solution, VisitMe Scheduler, is proven to be the most robust and configurable in the corrections market. As an integrated GTL product, the VisitMe Scheduler solution will aid in streamlining a facility’s daily operations. For example, VisitMe Scheduler can eliminate long queues in the visitation area by avoiding the chaos of having a high volume of concurrent visitors at the facility. In so doing, the system also minimizes staffing requirements.

The visitation management system also enables facilities to create a more efficient visiting process that allows them to expand their visitation schedules. This further enhances a facility’s ability to help maintain that very important service of regular communication between inmates and their friends and families. The key feature and power of the visitation management solution is the VisitMe Scheduler software, which essentially automates the entire visitation process – this truly separates the software from all other video visiting systems. Facilities will have the luxury of configuring station availability for the public or inmates, inmate quotas, and daily and weekly schedules.

The system will utilize the configurations to create a very efficient, safe and automated visitation process. The system provides a public web site to allow the public to schedule their visits to an inmate. The system then performs all automated conflict checks on the visits and connects the proper stations for the scheduled visits.

The National Leader in Active Deployments

Currently managing over 100 correctional facilities visitation programs, the VisitMe Scheduler software solution maintains the majority share of successful program implementations. In addition, this software application’s current installed base spans a range of facility sizes both large and small.

Revenue Generation Opportunities

Providing the opportunity for additional and extended visitation sessions, a facility can securely expand a service that has been proven to reduce recidivism. Utilizing the configurability of the revenue and billing application, GTL VisitMe Scheduler will allow a facility to create its own unique revenue options such as custom rate tables, varying charges for particular days and times, and refund policies.

Fully Configurable Implementation

GTL can efficiently integrate our VisitMe Scheduler with any facility’s current visitation protocol. Regardless of the specific intricacies designed to coordinate the current visitation service, VisitMe Scheduler’s configurability will adhere to all mandatory requirements while creating additional efficiencies throughout the remainder of the program.

President Joe Biden to visit Wilmington this week

scheduled visits

President Joe Biden is set to visit Wilmington this week.

According to an email announcement Monday afternoon from the White House, "On Thursday, May 2, the President will travel to Wilmington, North Carolina, to discuss how his Investing in America agenda is rebuilding our infrastructure and creating good-paying jobs in Wilmington and across the country."

Jill Hopman, chair of the New Hanover County Democratic Party, said Biden is expected to visit the Port City to talk infrastructure and environmental issues Thursday afternoon. The exact time and location of the event has not yet been determined, Hopman said.

While Biden is seeking reelection in the November presidential election, Hopman said the anticipated stop is a presidential visit, not a campaign event.

In a statement Monday, the New Hanover County Democratic Party said, "although President Biden’s official visit is not campaign-related, it cannot come at a more-critical time during a more-critical election year in a more-critical place."

The announcement of Biden's visit comes shortly after former President Donald Trump had planned to hold a campaign event in the city, which was ultimately postponed due to weather . Trump has not yet rescheduled the event.

The last presidential visit to Wilmington was by Trump in 2020, when he named Wilmington the nation's first World War II Heritage City at Battleship North Carolina.

Biden last visited North Carolina with Vice President Kamala Harris on March 26, with the two stopping in Raleigh to talk health care.

When Will Ravens Schedule Be Revealed?

The Baltimore Ravens will now their 2024 NFL Schedule very soon.

  • Author: Jeremy Brener

In this story:

The Baltimore Ravens will soon know when they will be playing their games for the upcoming season.

According to FOX Sports , the NFL will announce its schedule for the 2024 season on Thursday, May 9. The league tweeted out a promotional video for the schedule release, but it only stated that it would come this month.

Last year, the schedule was released on May 11, the second Thursday of the month, so it would make sense for the league to follow the same formula as it did a year ago.

The Ravens are scheduled to play the following teams for the upcoming season:

2024 Home Opponents: Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles

2024 Away Opponents: Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Ravens could play a number of teams on national TV this upcoming season, including the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The Ravens could also be the Chiefs' Week 1 opponent to open up the season.

The Ravens will also have the chance to play teams like the Steelers, Texans and Bills in primetime. Top-tier NFL teams like the Ravens usually see about five or six nationally-televised games, so there's opportunity to have maximum eyeballs on the team throughout the year.

Presidential debate commission defends schedule after Trump campaign pushes for new dates

Donald Trump and Joe Biden talk to the moderator

The Commission on Presidential Debates is pushing back against criticism from the Trump campaign over its debate schedule.

The nonpartisan entity, which announced the dates and locations for three debates late last year , responded Wednesday to Trump campaign officials' calling the timeline "unacceptable."

"The CPD has only one mission: to sponsor and produce general election debates that inform and educate the public," it said in a statement. "Our schedule is designed with that single mission in mind."

The first debate is scheduled for Sept. 16 at Texas State University in San Marcos.

Trump's campaign said in a statement Tuesday that the commission's schedule does not begin "until after millions of Americans will have already cast their ballots."

The overwhelming majority of states will not have started mailing out absentee ballots by the first debate. While a handful of states start mailing absentee ballots in early September, most begin sending them within a month and a half of the election, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Election Day this year falls on Nov. 5.

"As it always does, the CPD considered multiple factors in selecting debate dates in order to make them accessible by the American public," the commission said. "These factors include religious and federal holidays, early voting, and the dates on which individual states close their ballots."

"The CPD purposefully chose September 16 after a comprehensive study of early voting rules in every state," it added, noting that the September debate will be the "earliest televised general election debate ever held."

Trump's co-campaign managers, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, reacted to the commission's response by reiterating their criticism.

They said Tuesday they are "committed to making this happen with or without the Presidential Debate Commission."

The commission, launched in 1987, has sponsored all presidential debates for decades.

President Joe Biden said in an interview last week that he would be “happy to debate” Trump.

Trump, who skipped all of the 2024 GOP primary debates, later posted on social media about his willingness to debate, writing in all capital letters, “anywhere, anytime, anyplace.”
