Live reviews
I have seen Katherine Ryan live a lot of times I have even seen her show glam role model 3 times so for me to give her any less than 5 stars would be a lie! During this show Katherine sent me a message to come back stage for wine and grapes (oh how the other half live) and she was nothing but lovely! Truly made us feel like we was one of the gang! She always seems to get me involved with the show from pretending to do the N-Dubz sex tape or show off my kathbum shirt (which I made my self) her jokes are always on point with her strong but sweet acid mouth! I had worked in theatre for 6 years meaning I have met some of the best stand ups around! But Katherine Ryan always has time for fans she always has a great MC and is only to happy to take photos with! Katherine Ryan always owns the stage and that's why she is the queen of comedy! Making Kathbum a must see show!

Award-winning comedian, writer, presenter, and actress Katherine Ryan is at the top of her game and Battleaxe brings her back out on tour after the sell-out international smash hit that was Missus ended its year long run in 2022.
Katherine’s four part flagship series for W – Parental Guidance – is airing now to rave reviews. Out of Order for Comedy Central comes out on the 26th February with Katherine as a team captain alongside host Rosie Jones and Judi Love.
In addition to her regular appearances on all the major British panel shows, Katherine’s upcoming flagship 6 x 60’ comedy travel show with Joe Wilkinson for Channel 4 will air later this year. In 2023, she starred in the Sky Original comedy series, Romantic Getaway, with Romesh Ranganathan, as well as The Lionesses: A League of Their Own special with Jill Scott and Maisie Adam. She also surprised the nation with her performance on The Masked Singer as the much loved Pigeon.
In 2022, Katherine hosted her own hilarious 6-part global flagship series for Amazon Prime - Backstage with Katherine Ryan. She has also hosted two series of the hit primetime BBC Two jewelry-making competition series All That Glitters.
Her latest comedy special, Missus, aired on Sky Comedy in late 2022 to huge acclaim. Her debut 6 x 30’ Netflix sitcom The Duchess - which she wrote, executive produced and starred in - leapt to the top of the UK Netflix chart on its release. She was also only the second UK-based comedian to get a Netflix Global comedy special after Jimmy Carr and the first woman (2017’s In Trouble). Her second special Glitter Room also sits on the platform.
Her debut book The Audacity was published by Bonnier and went straight into the Sunday Times Bestseller list. Her hit podcast Telling Everybody Everything frequently tops the podcast charts and is hosted by market-leader Acast.
The fees for this event include a €1.50 restoration levy.
The restoration levy will allow 3Olympia Theatre to invest in maintaining and enhancing the theatre to ensure that it continues to consistently deliver the highest quality experience for theatre goers, actors, performers & producers.
Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult.
Over 18's ID required to gain access to the bars where alcohol is served.

Katherine Ryan: My husband believes conspiracy theories
Bobby thinks Americans faked the moon landing
Speaking on the Dish podcast, the comedian says he’s a ‘hillbilly’ from her hometown of Sarnia, Ontario, who ‘calls loo roll "shit tickets"’
‘And he doesn't believe in the moon landing,’ she adds. ‘He thinks that the government in America were really committed to showing themselves up against the Russians.
‘They'd spent too much money on the Vietnam War so they just went underwater and filmed a fake moon landing. He's a great, he's a great guy. And that's what guys are like from my hometown. And, I don't blame him in not trusting the government.’
Talking to hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, Ryan also discusses how she got into comedy, saying she was ‘definitely a show-off’ growing up.
When she was 18 she moved to Toronto for university and ‘right away I worked in TV. I did podium dancing for this TV show’, she said.
'Then I got a job at Hooters and I met so many like-minded women there, all like me, women from small towns who had moved to the big city with these dreams… and a lot of us were fun and funny, and we'd go out in these big groups, and they'd be so powerful.
‘In my hometown people thought I was weird, but these girls were like, "You are very funny,".’
She did her first stand-up gig in her Hooters uniform, but admits it took her a while to find her voice.
‘I did like a character and it was really offensive, like way more offensive than I am now,’ she revealed. ‘I liked Sarah Silverman and was attracted to shock comedy, but I didn't really get the nuance of what made it funny, so I was just like really offensive. I was always a bit of a paradox.’
She also joked that she and Grimshaw could set up a male version of Hooters, called Cocks:
Ryan, 41, is currently on tour with her new stand-up show, Battleaxe, explaining the title ‘is a negative word to describe women historically who were like disruptive, or outspoken, or masculine, or difficult. And I just like repurposing those words to be a good thing.’
She added: ’I'm looking forward to my over-40s era, and I love belligerent older women, I really love them. I think it’s aspirational to me, being a battleaxe.’
The comedian also explained how she always tried to get back home after each gig to see her two youngest children, aged three and 30 months, because: ‘I tour like a mom, I don't tour like a dad’.
