Kevin Hart Announces His First Major Tour in Four Years for “2022 Reality Check Tour”

Earlier this morning, comedian Kevin Hart announced his Reality Check Tour which includes a stop at Chase Center on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, February 18 at 10 a.m. Today, Pollstar’s comedy touring artist of the decade KEVIN HART brings fans a special Valentine's Day gift with the announcement of his first major tour in over four years. The Reality Check Tour, produced by Live Nation, begins this July and will bring the comedic icon to over 30 arenas across North America, including stops in Las Vegas, Boston, Dallas, Miami, Montreal, and many more. “I am hype as shit to go back out on tour. There is nothing better than making people laugh, I can feel the energy in the venues like caffeine pumping through my veins. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space. All pouches and equipment are routinely sanitized. The Yondr staff is trained and required to follow safety guidelines and hygiene protocols to practice social distancing, minimal contact and wear required personal protective equipment. Today, comedy legends Chris Rock and Kevin Hart have announced an iconic co-headlining five show run – ROCK HART: ONLY HEADLINERS ALLOWED – taking place this July. Produced by Live Nation, the exclusive arena run kicks off on July 21st at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY stopping at Prudential Center in Newark, Madison Square Garden in New York, and PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, before wrapping in Brooklyn at Barclays Center on July 25th.

A: Set your phone to vibrate as you enter the venue. You’ll be able to feel your phone vibrate through the Yondr case when you receive calls or texts. You may use your phone throughout the night at designated Phone Use Areas in the lobby of the venue.

Q:  What is a Phone Use Area?

A: Guests are able to use their phones at designated Phone Use Areas in the venue. All phones must be secured in a Yondr case before guests re-enter the performance space. 

Q:  How do I unlock my phone after the show?

A: Yondr staff will be stationed at all exits to unlock your phone at the end of the show.

Q:  Does it take long to unlock the cases and leave the venue?

A:  No. Yondr staff are located at each exit to unlock cases. We find that leaving is consistently faster at a phone-free show. 

Q:  I didn’t know about the phone policy. What if I don’t want to do this?

A: This is the show policy, and as a result we cannot allow entry to any guests with cell phones or smart devices if they are not secured in a Yondr case.

Q:  What happens if there is an emergency in the venue and I can’t access my phone?

A: All venue staff and security have cell phones and radios. Should an emergency occur, they are trained to implement and execute safety and emergency procedures. Guests should follow all venue instructions and evacuate immediately in the case of an emergency. Yondr Venue Staff will have hand-held unlocking devices outside at a safe distance from the venue.

After starting way back in February 2022, the “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” star is set to wrap up his year-long trek on April 18 in Canada .

“There is nothing better than making people laugh,” Hart said before the tour began. “I’ve been cooking up something special and have thoughts I need to get off my chest.”

And if Hart’s Instagram is any indication, it looks like he’s been having a blast entertaining audiences.

Here’s what we know about each of them.

“My Own Worst Enemy” tells the story of an agent sent on a dangerous assignment and then receives an assist from an unlikely informant. Tim Story has been tapped to direct.

“The Great Outdoors” will see Hart star in a remake of the 1988 John Candy-Dan Aykroyd comedy where a family on vacation repeatedly gets interrupted by their irritating in-laws. Teena Lewis and Tristan Cantave are set to co-star.

“Ride Along 3” is an extension of the popular Hart-Ice Cube franchise featuring Hart as a well-meaning high school teacher who applies to the police academy to impress the girl of his dreams (Tika Sumpter). There, he meets her tough brother (Ice Cube), who, you guessed it, takes him on a ride along to set him straight. According to Looper , director Tim Story wants to take the ongoing series to another country in a future installment.

“Back On The Strip” has a wild Las Vegas-based plot. Merlin (Spencer Moore II) loses the woman of his dreams, heads to Sin City to pursue magic and is hired to front strip crew, The Chocolate Chips. This one features a handful of comedy ringers alongside Hart, like J.B. Smoove, Tiffany Haddish, Gary Owen, Bill Bellamy and Faizon Love. Wesley Snipes appears too.

“Borderlands,” based on the popular video game, takes place on the desolate, fictional planet Pandora. In this abandoned world, adventurers seek out an elusive artifact. The stacked cast features Cate Blanchett, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gina Gershon and Bobby Lee.

“Uptown Saturday Night” centers around a pair of pal’s night out where they chill at an illegal club, come upon a lost wallet and find a winning lottery ticket. Based on the 1974 classic featuring Sidney Poitier, Flip Wilson, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby and Harry Belafonte. Rick Famuyiwa (“Dope,” “The Chi”) will direct from a script by Kenya Barris (“Blackish,” “Coming 2 America”).

“Lift” follows an unlikely action duo — an expert thief and her ex-boyfriend. Together, they join forces to pocket $100 million in gold on a 777 passenger flight. Rounding out the cast are Sam Worthington, Vincent D’Onofrio, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jean Reno and Burn Gorman. F. Gary Gray (“Friday,” “The Italian Job”) directs.

“Monopoly,” currently in development, finds a boy from the board game’s Baltic Avenue on a journey to make some cold, hard Monopoly cash. Tim Story will direct Hart again in a script by noted sci-fi screenwriter Andrew Niccol (“Truman Show,” “Gattaca”). Here’s hoping the movie, which has yet to enter pre-production, “gets out of jail free.”

KEVIN HART RETURNS TO TAMPA WITH 2022 REALITY CHECK TOUR

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 18 at 10:00 a.m.

TAMPA, FL – Today, Pollstar’s comedy touring artist of the decade KEVIN HART brings fans a special Valentine's Day gift with the announcement of his first major tour in over four years. The Reality Check Tour, produced by Live Nation, begins this July and will bring the comedic icon to over 30 arenas across North America, including a stop at Tampa’s AMALIE Arena on Thursday, September 15 at 7:00 p.m.

“I am hype as shit to go back out on tour. There is nothing better than making people laugh, I can feel the energy in the venues like caffeine pumping through my veins. I’ve been cooking up something special and have thoughts I need to get off my chest. Go get your tickets and come ready to have a good night!” said Hart.

Hailed as one of the highest-earning stand-up comedians of 2019 by Forbes, Hart's most recent global comedy tour sold out over 100 arenas around the world and sold over one million tickets worldwide in 2018 during his Irresponsible Tour . Hart continued to break records with his hometown stand-up performance at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field during his What Now Tour, marking the first time a comedian sold out an NFL stadium in Philadelphia.

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones will not be permitted in the performance space.

Upon arrival at the venue, phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests will always maintain possession of their devices and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.

All pouches and equipment are routinely sanitized. The Yondr staff is trained and required to follow safety guidelines and hygiene protocols to practice social distancing, minimal contact and wear required personal protective equipment.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience.

Peacock is kicking off the month of July with a new standup special from the incomparable and hilarious Kevin Hart . The comedian’s newest special, Kevin Hart: Reality Check , will premiere exclusively on Peacock on July 6, a day that’s very special to him. 

Not only will the standup special based on his long national tour of the same name drop for all the world to stream on that date, but fans can also tune in to the kick of Season 3 of his talk show, Hart to Heart , which will air on the platform as well. What a way to celebrate your birthday. That’s right, July 6 marks the actor and comic’s actual 44th birthday!

“I’m gonna knock your f---ing head off, I swear to God,” he says. 

The NSFW trailer promises an unfiltered Hart experience, made evident by the fact that he will not be censored in any way. No bleeps over curse words here, and Hart says a lot of them in Reality Check , so brace yourselves. 

“Some of the s--t I say tonight is going to be mean,” he declares in the trailer. “Let it happen and have a good time.” 

The special is billed as one hour of unforgettable comedy as Hart self-reflects on his growing family, fame, his relationship with Black Twitter, and much more. To prove that he’s swinging for the fence with this grand return to the stage, Kevin Hart: Reality Check was filmed before a sold-out crowd at Resort World in Las Vegas. Fans Tell Kevin Hart’s Ex-wife Torrei to ‘Get Some Rest’ After Katt Williams Tour and Prank on Blind Man

Torrei Hart is finding out that not everyone shares her sense of humor.

The stand-up comic and ex-wife of Kevin Hart garnered a few groans instead of laughter when she made an unsuspecting and visually impaired man the butt of her joke on Instagram.

While attending the annual The Roots Picnic at Mann at Fairmount Park in her hometown of Philadelphia, she decided to test just how much the festivalgoer could see. “I don’t know if this man is blind or not,” said Torrei as she recorded herself walking up to the man. The footage was uploaded to her page on June 2. When Torrei approached him, she asked, “Can you see me?”

The man, who had on sunglasses during the evening portion of the music event, slightly turned his head in her direction and responded, “Nah, that’s why I have this cane because I can’t,” as he lifted up the white cane in his hand.

“She going the f—k to hell,” said Torrei’s friend, Shimina Elizabeth, as she popped into the frame to speak directly into the camera.

“No, I’m not. This n—ga’s not blind,” said Torrei as she showed the man cautiously walking and scanning the ground with the cane. Kevin’s ex-wife doubled down on the wisecrack in her caption, where she wrote, “Blind man walking.”

While some social media users were more focused on Torrei’s appearance, others addressed her attempt at disproving the man’s inability to see, much like the jokes that many share about Stevie Wonder secretly being able to see.

“I swear us pisces do not be caring,” wrote one person, leaning into astrology as a blanket explanation for the comedienne’s banter.

A more direct and critical assessment of the video read, “Everything is not a joke.” A few other users told her to “stop” and to “get some rest.” Torrei, however, has not responded to any of the comments. One person who assumed she was drunk wrote “You lit like mf.”

This is not her first time striking out with her humor.

In 2021, she triggered a nerve with several individuals when her sour take on a sweet and heartfelt gesture between a couple made it to The Shade Room.

While some applauded a woman for gifting her husband his dream car, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, Torrei saw it as the perfect opportunity to write, “He’ll have his side b–ch in it next week.” She faced backlash from those who felt her snide comment was rooted in her marital woes with Kevin.

She hit back, saying, “It was just me being sarcastic…Let me tell y’all something, y’all just too sensitive nowadays. You’re too f–king sensitive. Lighten the hell up. It’s all right to still have little sarcastic moments and still jokey jokes. … Trust me, I’m fine. I’m not bitter. I am healed.” 

The former couple, who share two children, finalized their divorce a decade prior after the comedic rock star’s infidelities foiled their seven-year marriage.

Torrei has used her ex as a proverbial punching bag in many of her stand-up routines over the years, including this year after joining Katt Williams’ “ The Dark Matter Tour .” Williams infamously unleashed on Kevin and other comedy peers on “Club Shay Shay” in January.

The “Die Hart” star’s ex said that despite Williams’ disdain for Kevin, the two men were not feuding. Torrei also saw no issue with piggybacking off of the viral interview to further her career.

In April, while performing at the April Fool Comedy Jam in Brooklyn, the 46-year-old referred to her children’s father as leprechaun who ran off with her gold, leaving her to look on at the good life he and his current wife, Eniko Parish , now share with his eldest two kids and the two their union has yielded.

She also faced some pushback when she chimed in on Draya Michele’s controversial relationship with NBA superstar Jalen Green , 22. The athlete fathered a daughter with the model, 39, in May. Torrei said he wanted the “cougar” and that critics unfairly slammed her as trying to trap the athlete.

Social Media Is Going Wild Over Hilarious Photo Of WNBA Rookie Cameron Brink Standing Beside Comedian Kevin Hart

A photo of Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink towering over comedian and actor Kevin Hart is going viral online again after initially doing the rounds last July, and social media is still freaking out over it. 

Brink, who was the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft, stands at 6 ft 4 in, while Hart is 5 ft 2 in, so she easily dwarfs him in the image shown below.

Of course, fans came with the jokes. 

“Why did he accept to take this picture,” one wondered.

“Love seeing the WNBA doing make a wish for these kids,” another quipped.

“The advantages of being a short guy. Look where his eyes are,” someone else pointed out.

Cameron Brink Has Quickly Become One Of The Most Popular Players In The WNBA

As mentioned above, Cameron Brink was the second overall pick this year. She played her college basketball for Stanford and was the highest pick from the program since Chiney Ogwumike went No. 1 in 2014. 

The rookie was quickly recruited by Kim Kardashian for her SKIMS brand after it became the WNBA’s official underwear partner. She was selected as the face of the Fits Everybody collection along with the likes of Candace Parker and Kelsey Plum.

Brink, who is as popular for her looks as she is for her game, has also disclosed that she would like to be featured by Sports Illustrated in the future.

Meanwhile, the Sparks are 2-6 to start the season.
