Cannot wait for Toronto! I live in Buffalo NY but there was no date for that. Toronto is only a 2 hour drive!

World Tour? More like local tour; where are the Mexico dates man?

They tour all over the world and they have been for yearssss. They usually tour outside of the US and usually go to Mexico, Canada, and basically any European country. It might not be to late to buy tickets for Mexico if they haven't already been there.

I didn't notice a Chicagoland date! Please come back to St. Charles, IL!

Live Nation said it had its biggest year ever in 2023, in terms of both ticket sales and attendance.

For the full year, the entertainment giant, which also owns Ticketmaster, said concert attendance was up 20 percent compared to the prior year, with more than 145 million fans attending more than 50,000 events. Ticketmaster sold 620 million tickets, up 13 percent from 2022.

In a new interview with Primordial Radio conducted at this past weekend's Download festival in the United Kingdom, JINJER bassist Eugene Abdukhanov spoke about the progress of the songwriting sessions for the follow-up to the band's 2021 album "Wallflowers" . He said: "Honestly, we have most of the upcoming album written. I mean, in terms of demos, music-wise, no vocals over it, but just music-wise, it's already written, most of the new album. So we are waiting for a starting point to go to the studio, record, work on this, rearrange. This time we will have a lot of time for this. So definitely after we are done with touring, the next step will be making the new album."

On the topic of the musical direction of the new JINJER material, Eugene said: "It's more aggressive. I think all the negativity [stemming from Russia's invasion of Ukraine], we just directed it into the music — one hundred percent. So there are songs which were written literally under shelling, under bombing. Vlad [ Vladislav Ulasevich , drums] was writing a lot during the siege of Kyiv… I couldn't even pick up an instrument when things were happening around me. He was sitting and writing with a guitar. As soon as the siege was over and the Russian army just stepped back from Kyiv and things kind of calmed down, then it clicked for me; I started writing. What I'm saying is every person is different in terms of creativity. But such things happening around you cannot but have a huge impact on the creative process, on the message you put into music — just generally on your music."

Earlier in the month, Abdukhanov told MoreCore.TV that "eighty percent" of the music for the new JINJER album has already been written. Regarding the overall sound of the new JINJER music, Eugene said: "There always will be something that has never been [there] before. Otherwise there is no need to make new music.

"It is hard to say now what exactly it's gonna be," he continued. "And to some extent, I just don't want to make new spoilers. But it's gonna be definitely different from the previous album, for sure.

"On the 'Wallflowers' album, I think we went even [in the] doom metal direction, to some extent, because there are some very slow and very moody parts," he added. "On the new record, to some extent, in some way, it's going the other way — maybe death metal direction, something like this. Something really powerful, again groovy and something that just hits you, punches you straight to the face."

JINJER played its first live show since Russia's invasion of Ukraine on June 10, 2022 at last year's edition of the Greenfield Festival , which was held in Interlaken, Switzerland. The concert took place just days after it was announced that JINJER had been given permission from authorities to leave their war-torn nation and tour Europe as ambassadors of the country.

JINJER frontwoman Tatiana Shmayluk told Bloodstock TV at last year's Bloodstock Open Air festival that the war in Ukraine hadn't served as a powerful surge of cathartic inspiration for any of the band's new music: "Not really," she said. "I don't know why. Honestly, I've written some war songs way before JINJER , first of all, and way before war even started in Ukraine. And I don't know how, but it's easy for me to write about war when it's not happening around me. But when it started, I was absolutely devastated and paralyzed creatively. I cannot write about that. I still cannot process that. I think it's such a great trauma that it takes years and years to process, not only for me but mostly for the citizens of Ukraine, for the victims. I really think that it's not my time to write another war song right now."

But Eugene clarified: "Actually, we've never had war songs. We've never written anything which is militaristic or anything like that… We have a number of songs in our discography which are peacemaking songs, songs which call for peace, and calling them war songs can be a bit misleading because it may just make people think differently of what they really are, to be honest.

" Tatiana says that, well, she hasn't written any lyrics but we have written a number of compositions musically in these circumstances since the war started. So definitely there is a creative reflection of the events already," he revealed.

Love music? Hate paying too much to watch it live? Well, just in time for summer, Live Nation is ensuring you can see a show for just $25 a ticket (fees included).

Live Nation's Concert Week promotion began at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

How Does Live Nation Concert Week Work?

Get Tri-state area news and weather forecasts to your inbox. Sign up for NBC New York newsletters.

From May 10 to 16, a full list of events will be available on  Live Nation's website . Once a show is selected, look for the ticket type labeled “Concert Week Promotion,” add the $25 ticket(s) to your cart.

If you're looking to find concerts only in your area, Live Nation says you should be able to filter your search by venues or set your location to the closest city.

There are limited tickets for the events, but each varies. Live Nation reported many have a "standard ticket limit of eight."

In a Twitter thread , Live Nation also added a caveat about ticket availability: "Starting may 10th, if you aren't seeing a $25 ticket, it's most likely sold out for that event but full price tickets are still available - though check back because more $25 tickets may be added."

It's worth noting that some prices do not include taxes, so the price at your checkout may be different.

When Is Concert Week?

The sale began at 10 a.m. ET on May 10 and continues through 11:59 p.m. ET on May 16, "while supplies last."

For Verizon and Rakuten members, a special presale was available on May 9.

Imagine Dragons’ sixth studio album LOOM represents the pinnacle of their artistic journey of self-discovery and marks the best body of work they’ve ever made. LOOM , produced entirely by Imagine Dragons and their longtime collaborators Mattman and Robin, finds the perfect balance between the classic sounds that have made them superstars and the freshness that brought them joy in the studio. Featuring 9 brand new tracks including hit single “Eyes Closed”, LOOM signifies new beginnings on the horizon – the excitement for a new day, moments yet to come.

Last year, the members of Imagine Dragons found themselves with a rare and well-deserved break from the road—perhaps their longest in many years. So, they made the most of it by devoting that time to family and friends. Catalyzed by this respite with a refreshed perspective, the band rallied together in the studio and mined the same well of inspiration that fed their most beloved material. The musicians reflected on the past in order to catapult into a future where stylistic boundaries have disappeared entirely and anything is possible creatively. This journey has brought them to their most dynamic and definitive body of work to date, LOOM .

To herald LOOM , the band recently shared their soaring new anthem entitled “Eyes Closed.” Check out the video HERE . The track illuminates their penchant for boundary-breaking. Stretching the limits of the soundscape almost to the breaking point, they harness a burst of energy with a rafter-reaching refrain primed to soar on the upcoming summer tour.

It’s the year of the Dragons …

ABOUT IMAGINE DRAGONS:

Imagine Dragons continue to redefine rock in the 21 st century. Filling stadiums, crafting cloud-rattling anthems, and breaking records at every turn, diamond-certified GRAMMY® Award-winning Las Vegas quartet Imagine Dragons occupy rarified air as one of the biggest rock bands in the world. Tallying cumulative sales of 74 million album equivalents, 65 million digital songs, and over 160 billion streams, they stand out as “the only band in history to earn four RIAA Diamond singles , ” namely “Radioactive” (16x-platinum), “Believer” (13x-platinum), “Thunder” (12x-platinum) and “Demons” (11x-platinum). Since emerging in 2009, they’ve scored five consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 with Night Visions [2012] (7x-platinum) (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope), Smoke+Mirrors [2015] (platinum) (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope), Evolve [2017] (triple-platinum) (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope), Origins [2018] (platinum)(KIDinaKORNER/Interscope), and Mercury – Act 1 [2021]( KIDinaKORNER/Interscope). With the release of Mercury – Act 2 (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope) in 2022, they completed their first double-album opus produced by the legendary Rick Rubin. The hit single “Bones,” featured on Mercury Act 2, went to number one at Alternative Radio and remains in the Global Top 50 on Spotify. The band’s hit collaboration with East Atlanta-based rapper J.I.D, “Enemy,” has racked up billions of global streams and landed at #6 on the IFPI Global Singles Chart for 2022. Dominating radio, they remain one of only four bands to ever achieve consecutive Top 5 singles at Alternative radio, and the only band to repeat this feat. Most recently, Imagine Dragons made history on Spotify, as “Bad Liar” became their 10th song to surpass 1 billion streams. The band now holds the crown for the group with most billion-plus streamed songs, becoming the first in the platform’s history to have ten songs reach this milestone. Meanwhile, Imagine Dragons’ music videos for hits “Thunder” and “Believer” have garnered an astounding 2 billion YouTube views, while videos for “Radioactive” and “Demons” have surpassed over 1 billion views.  They’ve collaborated with everyone from Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa to Avicii and film composer Hans Zimmer. Giving back, they’ve raised millions for various causes, including their pediatric cancer charity the Tyler Robinson Foundation, and frontman Dan Reynolds’ LOVELOUD Foundation and festival in support of LGBTQ+ youth. In 2022, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky named them ambassadors for UNITED 24, which benefits humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Imagine Dragons earned an impressive four nominations for the 2022 American Music Awards including “Favorite Pop Duo or Group,” “Favorite Rock Artist,” “Favorite Rock Album” and “Favorite Rock Song.” The band was also nominated for “Group of 2022” for the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. Most recently, they received an MTV VMA nomination for “Video For Good” for their acclaimed “Crushed” music video.
