Craven Cottage Stadium is a historic football stadium located in Hammersmith, London.

Shortly afterwards, I got an email from West Ham to say that my tickets had been 'blocked' until I could prove that I am a West Ham fan. Not sure how you can prove that you are a fan of a particular club, they asked if I had a West Ham shirt or scarf. The answer was not to both, I am 70 years old and would not walk around with a West Ham shirt or scarf. As it turned out, the club told me that I would not be able to get admission to the game, although I had two valid tickets. I asked for a refund and was told that this was out of the question. My youngest has a Young Gunner membership so his tour was free of charge and he also received 10% off all purchases (except photos & personalisation on strips) in the official shop so a great bonus. No need to pre-book, just turned up having purchased tickets online in advance. Small queue which moved quickly. Self guided tour with Arsenal logo earphones which you take home. I'd pre purchased the guide book which was really nice quality and full of interesting facts. We were in the stadium for about 1.5 to 2 hours (quite a lot of this was spent in the shop!) and I have to say it was very interesting and impressive. We had access all areas except the press room as they were getting organised for a match the next day. I'm not really a football fan but having done other Stadium tours (UK & overseas) over the years this was by far the best. Unfortunately we didn't know there was a museum at the other side of the Stadium so we missed this - schoolboy error! During the tour we visited the changing rooms (for both football😁 and baseball😒), the pitch and the stands. The tour guide was great. He explained a lot about the history of the stadium and all the different transformation it goes through from Olympic to football to baseball to concerts. He explained in detail the changes in structure and design in order to accommodate each activity. He also shared the history of West Ham and their contribution to the 1966 World cup. We managed to get in an hour early,this was on a Saturday . The place is everything for a kid ( or even an adult) with a passion for dinosaurs and history about evolution. I loved it,it was amazing. Lots of shops too,I really liked the Jurassic park shop. The only downside probably for it,it was very hot inside. I would advise to take some water and not to wear coats/ jackets. The walk from the overland station Wembley Stadium or the underground station Wembley Park has a special feel to it and there’s always a special energy in the build-up to the game. The famous arch that stretches over the stadium can be seen right across the city. Wembley also has a retractable roof that helps to ensure fixtures will take place even in bad weather.

If you want the best atmosphere, try to get a ticket behind the goals at either end. These neighborhoods are where the die-hard fans sit and get the chants going all around the ground. Families often choose the central stands level with the halfway line. Prices vary significantly at Wembley, with the cheapest tickets being in the third (and highest) level of the stand. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of the most impressive grounds in Europe, especially during evening games when the whole ground is lit up in a cool neon blue. For many years the team played at White Hart Lane but knocked this aging stadium down to build their current home, which opened in 2019. Arsenal FC is one of London’s most successful teams and plays their home matches at the 60,000-capacity Emirates Stadium in Highbury, North London. Arsenal station on the Piccadilly Line is the closest subway station to The Emirates Stadium, but you can also take the Victoria Line to Highbury & Islington, which is around a 10-minute walk away and is far less crowded.

The Emirates Stadium is most atmospheric in the upper tiers behind the goal, especially the famous North Bank. For families, the lower tiers in the East and West stands are best. The seats are level with the pitch, which gives a great view of the action. If you want to visit the changing rooms and see the many, many trophies Arsenal has won in the past, you can take a self-guided tour of the stadium between 10 am and 5 pm on match days.

London Olympic Stadium

London Stadium was built as the centerpiece of the London 2012 Summer Olympics and is now the home of West Ham United FC. The oval-shaped stadium is surrounded by a fully gentrified area in East London, with plenty to explore before or after the match. The 60,000-seater ground is well designed with excellent views from every section of the ground. Wheelchair accessibility is also well thought out here. As this is a massive stadium for the size of the club, you can often buy tickets to watch a match on the day – this is not the case for the larger teams in the UK.

This comparatively ancient stadium in West London is on the north bank of the River Thames in swanky Fulham. Charlton Athletics’ stadium close to London City Airport

Charlton Athletic are a bit of a sleeping giant in East London. Considering the size of The Valley stadium – the ground has a capacity of 27,000 – it’s surprising the club hasn’t been in the Premier League since the 2006/7 season. Although eclipsed by many other teams in London, Charlton fans are a passionate bunch and The Valley is a vibrant place to watch some lower league English soccer. The tickets are also significantly cheaper than other London teams.

For atmosphere, book a ticket in the North Stand. This is the most modern area of the ground, with the best facilities. The best view is found in the upper West Stand. The South Stand is given to the away supporters and it looks quite outdated compared to the more modern stands on the other 3 sides of the pitch. Charlton overland train station sits a few minutes from the ground. It connects to London Bridge underground station on the Jubilee and Northern lines.

But with a state-of-the-art all-seater stadium and lengthy cup runs to boot, it’s never been a better time to be a Brighton fan.

Their non-matchday tour involves visiting all parts of the stadium, including the home dressing room, directors lounge, and the media conference suite.

9. Old Trafford – Manchester United – 5.2

Number of trophies to see – 69 Tour length – 90 minutes

Christened by the great Sir Bobby Charlton as the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford will have to settle for ninth on our list. Despite expansions to the Etihad and Anfield, Old Trafford remains the largest stadium in the Premier League, with 74,000 expectant fans visiting the ground every matchday.

Given the size of the club, it is no surprise that a stadium tour around Old Trafford is one of the most expensive around. Their price of £28 for an adult tour is the joint third highest in the league.

The club promises a memorable tour with plenty of silverware on display, where fans can walk in the footsteps of their Manchester United heroes, plus fans get a complimentary trip to the Old Trafford museum thrown in.

10. Emirates Stadium – Arsenal – 4.0

Number of trophies – 32 Google review – 4.7

Scraping into the top ten is Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium . Built in 2006, an Emirates Stadium tour is the second most expensive in the Premier League, coming in at £30 per adult, but despite this, a tour around the ground is still worth it.

An Emirates Stadium tour includes access to the director’s box, diamond box, home and away dressing rooms, dug-outs and even the press box. Commentary on the tour is provided by former Arsenal greats Lee Dixon, Charlie George and Nigel Mitchell. Plus, fans receive free entry to the Arsenal museum and a free personalised tour certificate.

1. goodison park – everton – 2.2.

Sitting at the bottom of the table is Goodison Park , with a measly score of 2.2. Everton’s beloved home ground is let down by various factors. Its Google Review rating of 4.4 is the joint-third worst in the league. With the tour only lasting 60 minutes, no ground in the Premier League offers a shorter tour. Due to its contracted length, Toffees fans are paying £0.39 per minute.

Everton fans will hope that the tour around their much anticipated new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock will offer a more worthwhile experience.

2. Craven Cottage – Fulham – 2.6

Stadium tour adult price – £25.00 Stadium tour child price – £20.00

Scenic and quaint, it may be a surprise that Craven Cottage sits in the relegation spot for best-value Premier League stadium tours. Craven Cottage is let down by a relatively costly £20 for a child stadium tour, a price which is three times higher than the City Ground .

In addition to this, Fulham ’s home doesn’t have much to offer in regards to silverware, having only won five trophies in their history. What’s more, the club doesn’t provide free parking.

3. London Stadium – West Ham United – 3.0

Stadium tour adult price – £22.00 Cost per minute – £0.37

West Ham ’s London Stadium sits third from bottom on our list of best value Premier League stadium tours. It took Hammers’ fans a good few years before they could adjust to life away from the Boleyn Ground and fall in love with the former Olympic Stadium — but after unforgettable European nights against Sevilla , Lyon and AZ Alkmaar , it’s fair to say the place is feeling a bit more like home.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about their stadium tour. Charging £22 for an adult, the stadium tour only lasts 60 minutes, and the club doesn’t even supply free parking.

4. Stamford Bridge – Chelsea FC – 3.1

Stadium tour adult price – £40.00 Cost per minute – £0.44

One thing catches the eye with Chelsea’s stadium tour: the price. Charging £40 for an adult ticket, this is 33% higher than the next most expensive. Their child’s price of £28 is more expensive than almost every other Premier League team’s adult price.

Chelsea ’s defence will be that they have plenty of silverware, having won 32 trophies, including two Champions League titles. Also, the Stamford Bridge tour is not bad for length, lasting at least 90 minutes.

5. Gtech Community Stadium – Brentford FC – 3.2

Tour length – 60 minutes Number of trophies to see – 5

Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium is the fifth worst value Premier League stadium tour, receiving a score of just 3.2.

Between 1904 to 2020, the club had only one home, the charming, but ramshackle Griffin Park. Since moving stadiums, Brentford achieved promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history, and in 2022-23 recorded their first-ever top-half finish.

Unfortunately, their stadium tour doesn’t match the quality of their team on the pitch. The club only offers an hour-long tour, and given that the Bees have only won five trophies in their 130-year-plus history, there isn’t much to see in the silverware department.

Stadium with the Cheapest Adult Tour Price

If you’re just after the cheapest adult stadium tour you can find, then Turf Moor is the ground to visit. Charging just £10 for an hour-long stadium tour, visitors to Turf Moor are paying 61% less per minute than visitors to Stamford Bridge .

Burnley has called Turf Moor home since 1883 and, in that time, have had their fair share of highs and lows. Their heyday came in the early 1960s when manager Harry Potts delivered the Clarets their first league title since before the Second World War.

Stadium with the Cheapest Child Tour Price

Charging just £5, the City Ground offers the least expensive child tour by a considerable margin. Brighton is the only other club in the division that can also proudly boast that their child’s price is under £10.

So if you have a footy-mad junior who just wants to feel closer to the game and to experience stepping onto a manicured Premier League pitch for the first time, a trip to the City Ground is the perfect place to go.

Best Stadium for Trophies

Old Trafford remains the best stadium for trophies in the Premier League — but only just. For many years, Anfield was the place to go for silverware following the dominant eras of Shankly, Paisley and Fagan. However, Sir Alex Ferguson’s tenure in the Old Trafford dugout changed all that, with the Scotsman picking up 38 trophies to cement himself as one of the world’s greatest-ever managers.

Liverpool briefly took the lead on the trophy stakes after Jürgen Klopp’s Reds picked up six major trophies in three years. The two clubs were neck-and-neck before Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United were victorious in the 2023 League Cup final, inching their tally one ahead of Liverpool.

A Christmas-Themed Football Stadium Experience

With the most wonderful time just around the corner, Premier League clubs are pulling out all the stops to give their fans a memorable festive experience.

In the lead-up to Christmas, Liverpool are putting on a stadium tour with a yuletide slant. Included free of charge are festive activities on the concourse, as well as a football-themed treasure hunt.

Manchester City always like to put on a show at Christmas, and that’s not just on the pitch. For young City fans, there is a Santa’s Grotto as well as a snowman hunt around the stadium on non-match days.

Newcastle United aren’t holding back this Christmas either, with a range of events suitable for all the family. St. James Park doubles up as a cinema for screenings of festive classics such as The Polar Express, Home Alone and The Grinch. In addition to this, there is also a kid’s festive party, games, dancing, elves and even a visit from Father Christmas.

• The cost per minute of each stadium tour was calculated by dividing the standard tour price ticket by the duration of the tour.
• The highest weight ranking was given to cost per minute, followed by Google review to account for stadium quality, and the lowest weight has been awarded to the number of trophies as a proxy for football heritage on display.
• Please note the list of honours that the teams have won, doesn’t necessarily mean they will all be visible during the tour.
• Lastly, an index score out of a possible 10 was calculated to assess the best-value stadium tour. The higher the score, the better value the stadium tour is to visit.

Hip-hop heads, we’ve got massive news. Travis Scott, one of the biggest rappers and producers on the planet right now, has just announced he’ll be heading off on a huge tour this summer. The Houston musician’s UTOPIA – Circus Maximus Tour will see him play 12 dates this side of the Atlantic – including, excitingly, two shows in the UK.

The Circus Maximus tour has been described as ‘an unparalleled audiovisual experience’ and its North American took place last year. The tour follows Scott’s chart-topping fourth studio album UTOPIA , which was the biggest-selling hip-hop release of 2023.

When is Travis Scott going on his UK tour in 2024?

Scott will be playing two shows in the UK on this summer’s Circus Maximus Tour. They are: 

• July 11: London, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
• July 13: Manchester, Co-op Live

The show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be his largest UK headline show to-date.

When do tickets go on sale?

General sale kicks off at 10am BST on Friday May 10. You’ll be able to get tickets here . 

Is there a presale?

There are a few presales available. For the London gig, Tottenham Hotspur Season Ticket Holders and One Hotspur Members will get access at 10am on Thursday May 9.

For the Manchester show, Co-op members will also get access on May 9 at 10am through the Co-op app. 

How much are Travis Scott tickets?

Official prices haven’t yet been confirmed, so watch this space for updates.

Foo Fighters Announce Extra Tickets for This Summer's U.K. Stadium Tour

Foo Fighters have announced the release of an extra batch of tickets for their upcoming Everything or Nothing at All U.K. tour in support of last year's But Here We Are , their first new album since the death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins.

The seven-date run in June will see the beloved rock band playing stadiums in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Cardiff, and Birmingham with support from Wet Leg , Courtney Barnett , Chroma, Himalayas, Honeyblood, Hot Milk, and Shame .

The Foo Fighters released their latest album, But Here We Are , last June — their first since Taylor Hawkins died in 2022. Drummer Josh Freese has since joined the band.

"It continues to be bittersweet," Freese told The Daily Star last month. "Part of me wants to say like I wish I wasn't there at all. I wish there wasn't a reason for me to be the drummer in Foo Fighters.

"I was friendly acquaintances with Taylor for like 25 years and then in the last five/six years we became a lot closer, which makes the whole thing even more odd," he added.

"After Taylor's passing, first thing I thought was how are these guys going to move on from this – Taylor was such an important component, on and off stage. And he wasn't just a drummer, you know. He was such a big personality. [I thought] 'Are they even going to go on...does Dave go solo now?'"

American rapper Travis Scott has announced a huge UK and European arena and stadium tour - including his largest UK headline show to date.

The music star will bring his UTOPIA - Circus Maximus Tour to this side of the pond following a massive sold-out run in North America last year. Billed as an ‘unparalleled audiovisual experience’, the tour is based around his UTOPIA album which has now surpassed 50 billion streams globally.

The UK and European tour will kick off in the Netherlands before taking in dates in Poland, Switzerland, France and the UK. He will perform at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on July 11 before heading to Manchester’s Co-op Live on July 13.

The London date has been described as his largest UK headline show so far. The summer tour, which will consist of 12 arena and stadium dates, will also include shows in Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic and Italy. Tickets for all dates will go on sale on Friday (May 10).

£1 from every ticket sold will go towards the Cactus Jack Foundation, an organisation that supports young people in Travis’ hometown of Houston with access to college scholarship programs and help with expenses for education and creative endeavours.

Travis’ UTOPIA album was named the biggest-selling hip-hop release of 2023. The record also lay claim to the record for the biggest first-day streams of an album on Apple Music and the most streamed album in its first week in 2023 on Spotify.

Throughout his career, the hip hop star, who has two children with Kylie Jenner, has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams, Drake, and The Weeknd. In 2020, he also collaborated with video game Fortnite and created the ASTROWORLD festival.

As usual for dates at Co-op Live, members of the Co-operative will also be able to get their hands on tickets early through the Co-op app. Pre-sale will be available from 10am on Wednesday (May 8).

General access for tickets will be available from 10am on Friday (May 10) via Ticketmaster.
