A Guide to Watching the ‘Renaissance’ Tour From Your Couch

Portrait of Danielle Cohen

For the sake of my sanity and life savings, I did not buy tickets to Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour , a decision I was mostly okay with until this week. The tour kicked off in Sweden on Wednesday, and the subsequent flood of fan videos sent me into a fit of rage and regret that I was not there to bear witness. However, somewhere between frantically Googling flights to Marseille and wondering how much money I can make selling feet pics , I realized I had actually absorbed a fair amount of the performance by scrolling through the endless clips of pitch-perfect choreo, off-the-cuff riffs, and wild outfit changes. It’s a great time to live vicariously through the Beyhive.

Even though I would willingly risk my eardrums and personal space for a few hours in a stadium with Beyoncé, watching the Renaissance tour from the air-conditioned comfort of my home is not a horrible alternative. After spending several hours drooling over fans’ videos of her show, I believe I’ve pieced together a somewhat coherent sense of the Renaissance experience. (Please, if you go to the tour and want to tell me how much better it is than watching two-minute videos on Twitter, don’t.) Here’s everything I’ve learned from afar.

. The music

The set list , as reported by fans, runs through all of Renaissance in chronological order, with past hits and a couple deep cuts sprinkled throughout, including “Dangerously in Love,” “Formation,” “Savage Remix,” “Before I Let Go,” and “Drunk in Love.”

Based on videos, Beyoncé also worked in a handful of nods to other musicians. She covered Mary J. Blige somewhere toward the beginning of the show, and rumor has it she sampled Britney Spears’s “Toxic” during “Thique.”

One clip shows her singing “Love on Top” over the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back,” a version she first performed in 2014 during the On the Run tour . Please note the deeply unimpressed face she makes when the crowd loses the tune:

At one point, she sang “Alien Superstar” over the bassline of “Sweet Dreams,” which is both confusing and glorious:

. The Vibes

Futuristic, campy, girly, glamorous, sensual, indulging the feminine urge to look like a gadget from the ’60s. If Beyoncé designed the future, it would look like the Renaissance World Tour. Suddenly I believe in the power of technology. I feel optimistic about the next three decades. I want to invest in robots and space travel, two famously evil industries. Anyway, here are a couple images that should help you wrap your mind around the general vibe.

An alien with enormous boobs and stars for nipples:

Beyoncé, our generation’s Botticelli, singing “Virgo’s Groove” inside a giant aluminum clamshell:

A shiny alien tank that made me briefly question my stance on the military:

News-anchor Beyoncé breaking a critical story for Channel KNTY 4:

. The Fashion

Beyoncé performed in a parade of playful, outrageously sexy custom looks , many of them inspired by either new collections or iconic archival designs. She opened the show in a custom Alexander McQueen bodysuit before changing into a glittery mirrored look inspired by Courrèges’s 2023 collection.

Also in the mix: a bejeweled bodysuit by Jonathan Anderson that made me truly believe she had grown two new arms, a psychedelic David Koma getup , a feathered Coperni cape , and a pearly Balmain leotard . Two of her wildest costumes were designed by Mugler’s Casey Cadwallader and referenced two beloved Mugler collections from the ’90s: a fembot “robot suit” and an haute couture bee headdress .

Oh, did I mention Beyoncé did a fashion magic trick?

. The Choreo

Business as usual, which is to say mind-blowing. And, it should go without saying, heavily inspired by drag and ballroom.

In addition to her backup dancers, Beyoncé joined forces with several robot arms who absolutely nailed the “Cozy” choreography. The dancing robot dogs are fuming.

This robot arm got to hold a fan!

Also involved in the choreo: the camera that a uniformed crew member used to get close-ups of Beyoncé, which she grabbed to film herself singing “PURE/HONEY.” I guess I like technology now?

. The Visuals

Between songs, Beyoncé offered a little note about the Renaissance album visuals, in case you dared to wonder about those. Via the voice of Kevin JZ Prodigy , the ballroom commentator who was featured on “PURE/HONEY” and seems to have recorded new vocals for the tour, she let us know that they’ll arrive when she’s good and ready, thank you very much.

“You’ve asked for the visuals,” Prodigy’s voice boomed. “You’ve called for the queen. But a queen moves at her own pace, bitch. Decides when she wants to give you a fucking taste. So get your fork and your spoon if you’ve got one.”

Beyoncé did seem to give a little preview of the album’s visuals during one of her interludes:

. The Merch

Another clue into the Renaissance visuals arrived in the Renaissance World Tour book, which is being sold along with other tour merch at the shows and features Beyoncé in even more high-design futuristic looks.

The Renaissance VIP package also apparently included a custom fan that says “FAN ME OFF” when you turn it on. Let me tell you, my jaw dropped.

I’ll leave you with one more video of Beyoncé ending the show by flying around on her glitter horse, as one does. Her next stop is in Brussels on May 14. See you there — spiritually, that is.

Beyoncé Kicks Off “Renaissance World Tour” in Stockholm: Video + Setlist

The performance marks the start of Bey’s first solo tour since 2016

Beyoncé Kicks Off “Renaissance World Tour” in Stockholm: Video + Setlist

Beyoncé has made her long-awaited return to the stage — on Wednesday night, in Stockholm, Sweden, the legendary pop icon delivered the inaugural performance of the “ Renaissance World Tour ,” her first solo run of shows since 2016.

Opening for herself, Queen Bey kicked off the marathon, three-hour show by performing a series of ballads, including “Dangerously in Love,” “Flaws and All,” “1+1,” and “I Care.” After a brief intermission, Beyoncé launched into the Renaissance portion of her set, as she showcased her latest album with performances of “I’m That Girl,” “Cozy,” “Alien Superstar,” Cuff It,” “Energy,” and “Break My Soul.”

Video interludes broke the set into themed sections dubbed “RENAISSANCE,” “MOTHERBOARD,” “OPULENCE,” ANOINTED,” and “MIND CONTROL.” After debuting songs from her latest record, Beyoncé used “OPULENCE” to dig into her back catalog with “Formation,” “Run the World (Girls), “Black Parade,” and “Partition,” as well as her remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.” In addition to addressing those long-awaited Renaissance visuals (“A queen moves at her own pace, bitch,” the narrator from “Formation” said), she delivered a good part of her performance on a metallic tank , which has been dubbed the Bey Wagon by the BeyHive. During “Partition,” she even rode it into a giant… robot vagina ?

The next act opened with a performance of the Renaissance cut “Church Girl,” in which Beyoncé created a stunning visual by using UV lights to transform her choir robe into a stained glass look. She followed up by throwing it all the way back to 2003’s “Crazy in Love” alongside other tracks like “Get Me Bodied” and “Love on Top” — the latter of which she mixed with The Jackson Five’s “I Want You Back.”

Returning back to her latest album, Bey ran through the Grammy-nominated “Virgo’s Groove,” “Plastic Off the Sofa,” “Move,” “Heated,” and “Thique.” During the latter track, she interpolated Britney Spears’ “Toxic.” For the final act of the show, she ran through  Renaissance  standout “America Has a Problem” dressed up as a bee, because, of course. That part of the set even included a news desk for Bey’s “KNTY News.”

Before closing out the show with “Summer Renaissance,” she ceded the stage to her dancers, who showed the crowd what ballroom — a major influence of her dance album — is all about.

See the full setlist and fan-captured performance footage below.

Wednesday’s show in Stockholm kicked off the European leg of the “Renaissance World Tour,” which will run through the end of June. After that, the North American leg will begin with two shows in Toronto, and then zig-zag across the United States. Learn how to get last-minute tickets to her upcoming shows here .

The “Renaissance World Tour” is Beyoncé’s first solo tour since 2016’s “ Formation World Tour .” In 2018, Bey embarked on a joint tour with her husband, JAY-Z, and delivered a memorable headlining performance at Coachella . Most recently, in January the 41-year-old multi-hyphenate played a private concert for a crowd of influencers in Dubai, which reportedly earned her $24 million .

Unlike the Dubai show, however, the “Renaissance World Tour” is designed for the public, in an arena setting. Tickets for the rest of the tour are still available to purchase here .

Everything We Learned from Night One of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour

Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Opening Night - Stockholm

I t’s the moment everyone’s been waiting for: Beyoncé finally kicked off her Renaissance World Tour in Stockholm, Sweden , Wednesday night. This comes close to a year after the release of her seventh album, RENAISSANCE , a period during which she has rarely acknowledged the album with interviews or public performances of the new music, nor put out any music videos to accompany the songs. Nonetheless, the BeyHive was still buzzing with excitement on social media as they shared clips of the stage, the merchandise, the view from different VIP sections, and, most importantly, the artist performing the songs live for the first time.

Beyoncé is gearing up for a second night at the Friends Arena in Stockholm. As she gets ready to hit the stage, let’s take a look at what was revealed in the first show that might offer an indication of what could happen on the rest of the highly anticipated tour. A lot has already happened—from Bey herself addressing the lack of visuals to her celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, in keeping with the themes of the album.

Here’s everything we learned from night one of the Renaissance World Tour.

Beyoncé said not to rush a queen for music videos

omg not beyoncé addressing the visuals i’m crying 😭 #RenaissanceWorldTour pic.twitter.com/xQ9AkBCp3p — rasmus (@rasmusbravado) May 10, 2023

If we haven’t learned by now, Beyoncé releases things when she is good and ready . This is her first solo album since 2016’s Lemonade , so we can’t act surprised that she told her fans to be patient and stop asking about the music videos. Her last solo albums, Lemonade , Beyoncé , and The Gift (a concept album for The Lion King ), all had visual components that included music videos for each song. This built up the expectation that RENAISSANCE would get the same treatment.

Beyoncé is online and knows her fans have been hounding her, and she has finally responded. During a break on the first night, a disembodied voice addressed the crowd as the words it spoke were displayed on stage: “Aww, you mad? Well, there’s no remedy for that, bitches… I know you’ve asked for the visuals. You’ve called for the Queen. But a Queen moves at her own pace, bitch. Decides when she wants to give you a f-cking taste. So get your fork and your spoon if you got one.”

She is cutting out some of her biggest hits to make room for the new album and deep cuts

Attendees at the concert in Stockholm filmed every moment for the world to see on social media, and many of Beyoncé’s fans were quite surprised by some of the songs she decided to perform. She opened the show with “Dangerously In Love” from her debut album of the same name and ran through a string of popular songs, both mainstream hits and fan favorites. At the opening night show, she also performed songs like “Rather Die Young,” “Flaws and All,” and “Black Parade,” which have not gotten much attention from Beyoncé in recent memory.

Beyonce - Rather Die Young 🎤 SINGGGGGG!!!! #RenaissanceWorldTour pic.twitter.com/MEZwAVYNWk — ram (@oyyram) May 10, 2023

Some of Beyoncé’s most popular songs, many of which she has made a point to perform on past tours, are notably missing from the set list. “Run The World” fans, do not worry: she still performs the song. But those who are fans of “If I Were a Boy,” “Single Ladies,” and “Halo,” a notorious closer for Beyoncé—as evidenced by the Homecoming concert film and her Formation World Tour— may be disappointed.

Beyoncé brought back the Les Twins, who have accompanied her on multiple tours and performances

The Les Twins, Laurent and Larry, were approached by Beyoncé years ago after a video of them dancing went viral and they appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show . They were invited to perform with Beyoncé at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011, and she took them on the road with her for the Mrs. Carter World Tour, her joint On The Run Tour with Jay-Z, and her Coachella performance in 2018 . Her fans were excited to see the Les Twins back on stage with her for this new tour.

It was gay as hell: An unabashed celebration of the LGBTQ+ community

In the lead-up to the album, Beyoncé dedicated the project to her Uncle Johnny, who battled HIV when she was young. He is referenced in the song “HEATED,” and in the outro of the song, Beyoncé takes on the role of MC at a ball (a queer dance party) where she starts “reading.” All of these influences took center stage at the Renaissance World Tour and will make a strong statement when it comes stateside in July, given the wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation being introduced across the country.

BEYONCÉ IS HEATED😭😭😭 #RENAISSANCEtour pic.twitter.com/ddL9s1ByUA — 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆🫧💚 (@beyoncegarden) May 10, 2023

One of the biggest displays of affection for her queer fans came even before the concert started. As concertgoers poured into the stadium, they were greeted with a fake TV error screen, but if you look closely, some of the colors are different. This error screen has the colors of the progress pride flag, which includes colors from the transgender pride flag, as well as brown and black to indicate the greater discrimination experienced by those members of the community. Twitter users joked, “Nashville is gonna be ready to arrest Beyoncé for this, lord Jesus,” referencing the state’s attempt to ban drag shows and broader attempts across the US to infringe on trans people’s rights.

There is also a ball that happens in the show. Beyoncé makes space for her dancers to vogue and dance to her song, “PURE/HONEY.”

Some people might recognize Honey Balenciaga from The House of Balenciaga, which appeared in season two of HBO Max’s Legendary . She was seen voguing on stage with the rest of Beyoncé’s dancers.

@legendaryvoguex HONEY BALENCIAGA @Honey. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE IT GIRL #RENAISSANCE ♬ original sound - Legendary Vogue X

As we’ve seen with other tours from major artists like Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and the 1975, their fervent fan base will keep everyone up to date on all the song changes, new outfits, and surprises that these artists pull out of their bag of tricks on the road. As we’ve seen with Swift’s notoriously sold-out Eras Tour, her fans made sure to give people who couldn’t get tickets a chance to see the tour play out online. Based on how night one played out, it seems like Beyoncé’s fans will be doing the same for those of us stuck at home.

Correction, May 11: The original version of this story misgendered Honey Balenciaga. She uses she/her pronouns.

Watch Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Visuals Until She Drops the Real Thing

Portrait of Justin Curto

Beyoncé knows what the people want. In the middle of her first Renaissance- tour concert in Stockholm on May 10, the superstar made a cheeky reference to the music videos she has yet to drop for the album. Over the introduction to “Formation,” a voice ( Kevin JZ Prodigy , also on “Pure/Honey”) rang out through the arena: “You’ve asked for the visuals. You’ve called for the queen. But a queen moves at her own pace, bitch. She decides when she wants to give you a fucking taste. So get your fork and your spoon if you got one.” Beyoncé did just that in her Renaissance live show, giving fans a taste of visuals in the form of transitional clips throughout the concert (not our first taste, after she dropped an “I’m That Girl” teaser and a “Summer Renaissance”–inspired Tiffany ad ). The videos were spacey, queer, and glamorous, which is everything we’ve come to expect from Beyoncé in her Renaissance era. Below, some of her visuals from the tour. Eat up.

Things kicked off as the clouds parted for the queen.

She took fans on a Tron -inspired journey into the Renaissance .

Musicians in water — it’s in right now.

Best believe she was going to bring the ball.

Tell her how she’s lookin’, babe.

Play these clips as much as you want over the next two-plus months (that is, until her tour hits the U.S.) — we won’t tell.

Beyoncé Announces ‘Renaissance’ 2023 World Tour

Another Ticketmaster war is on the horizon as the BeyHive prepares for battle. After weeks of speculation, Beyoncé has officially confirmed a world tour in support of Renaissance , scheduled to make stops in stadiums across the world in 2023 .

The musician confirmed the news on Wednesday morning. The tour will begin in Europe this May before landing in North America on July 8 with back-to-back nights at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. The tour will make stops in Philadelphia, Nashville, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and more.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce)

The Renaissance tour marks Beyoncé’s first extended stretch on the road since the On the Run tour, which made 48 stops across North America and Europe in 2018. Those shows were proceeded by the singer’s redefining Coachella performance, which arrived as the Netflix concert film Homecoming the following year.

The clips sparked multiple viral moments, the most notable being Beyoncé’s new vocal arrangements on familiar records, including “Drunk in Love” and “Countdown.” The private concert, notably, did not include any Renaissance tracks on the setlist, even the chart-topping lead single “Break My Soul.”

The tour announcement arrives as a saving grace for a starved BeyHive, still yearning for any meaningful visual companion pieces to the singer’s acclaimed seventh studio album. If Beyoncé is heading on the road again, maybe the wait for the music videos she teased in the record release trailer won’t be too much longer.

“As is customary for her, she layers the album with enough totems to fuel a million think pieces and dissertations,” Rolling Stone shared of Renaissance . “Yet it’s also possible to simply dance and vibe to the music. This is Beyoncé at her joyous peak, and you won’t get it unless you pull the “plastic off the sofa,” “drop it like a thottie,” and enjoy Queen Bey at her thrilling best.”

Beyoncé performs during the opening night of the Renaissance World Tour on 10 May at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden

Beyoncé: Renaissance World Tour review – a dizzying three-hour spectacular

Friends Arena, Stockholm Queen Bey’s first solo headline tour in seven years is a lavish leap forward for live entertainment, dripping with sci-fi disco decadence, sex and Black pride

E ven without Taylor Swift’s Ticketmaster-melting Eras Tour nipping at her heels, it wouldn’t do for a star as compulsively ambitious as Beyoncé to merely protect her status as the greatest pop show on Earth. Not when her first solo headline tour since 2016 could instead push 21st-century live entertainment another lavish leap forward.

Titled after the Texan’s disco glitter bomb post-pandemic party album of the same name , Renaissance is a monster blockbuster concert experience on a different plane. Fifty-seven stadium dates globally, starting in Stockholm, are projected to gross as much as £1.9bn ($2.4bn) by the time the tour ends in New Orleans late September. Dripping with sci-fi disco decadence, sex, body positivity and feminine Black pride, the near three-hour spectacular plays out in front, behind and, at times, inside a football-pitch-wide high-definition video screen designed to assault the senses at dizzying scale.

The BeyHive, as Beyoncé’s fans collectively style themselves, are buzzing pre-show as they flood into the venue from around the world for their first chance proper to see their queen live since 2018’s On the Run II co-headliner with Mr B, Jay-Z. Dressed head to toe in official tour merch, including a cap and hoodie both emblazoned with the word “THIQUE”, Mykwain Gainey has been to 20 Beyoncé shows over the past two decades and has spent nearly £2,000 to fly here from New York. “To see her transcend, and become what she has become, especially as a Black woman, is exciting,” he enthuses.

Beyoncé in Stockholm on Wednesday. With many of the show’s 36 songs abridged, the tempo was relentless.

Brazilian Yhes Bezerra wears a spangly cowboy hat like the one sported by Beyoncé in the tour poster, except theirs is homemade; sticking on the thousands of tiny mirror panels took nine hours. They were determined to come to the opening night to avoid social media spoilers about what to expect. “I want everything to be a surprise,” Bezerra smiles.

Beyoncé appears first in a video cut scene, laid out luxuriously across the giant screen semi-naked in dimensions big enough to be visible from space. And yet, once she emerges in the flesh – all sequins, shoulder pads and that megawatt smile, drinking in the crowd’s screams – she begins disarmingly with a slew of her rawest soul songs. By the second, Flaws and All, she already appears to be fighting back tears, whether of release or gratitude or both. It’s an opening that seems designed to strip away artifice, if only to provide some sharp contrast for the heavily technologically augmented spectacle about to follow.

Harking back to early house and techno and the ecstatic utopia of the dancefloor, a segment dedicated to the Renaissance album ensues with Beyoncé done up something akin to the Maschinenmensch in Metropolis. She grinds with a dozen backing dancers to the jittery reggaeton of her boss bitch mission statement I’m That Girl, then dances with some actual robots (a pair of mechanical arms) during Cosy. Were all that not semi-hallucinogenic enough, Alien Superstar interpolates narcissistic anthem I’m Too Sexy by 90s dance-pop twosome Right Said Fred.

Beyoncé performing on Wednesday

With many of the setlist’s whopping 36 songs abridged, the tempo is relentless. Blink and you’ll miss dancers popping out of the stage like champagne corks, or Beyoncé’s powerhouse band getting wheeled into occasional view on a tall stepped riser (shades of Beychella), such as during Chic-style feelgood funk workout Cuff It. “Y’all having a good time, Stockholm?” our host inquires, wiping an imperceptible bead of sweat from her brow. “Me too.”

Black Parade finds Beyoncé cruising the stage atop what looks like a kind of lunar rover. Somewhat comically, it exits up the gusset of a pair of massive splayed legs. Later she sings Plastic Off the Sofa stretched out in a clamshell. Come Crazy in Love, the show finally gets the enormous disco ball it seems to have long craved, dangled from the rafters for only a bit longer than the time it takes for the crew to get it up there and back down.

Bass-quaking, envelope-pushing Black power anthem Formation is a powerful political statement in any setting. Performed in a kind of virtual cathedral, horny southern rap and gospel cocktail Church Girl (sample lyric: “drop it like a thottie, drop it like a thottie”) might just be intended to provoke. But by Beyoncé’s own standards, it’s hard not to read Renaissance as a show much lighter on overt socio-political messaging than it is sheer, unfettered, mildly chaotic indulgence. And who could blame her?

In a final, unsubtle, retro-futuristic fanfare, Bey summons Bianca Jagger’s iconic Studio 54 moment by gliding through the air on a glitter-encrusted white horse while Summer Renaissance – which samples Donna Summer’s I Feel Love – blares. The disco history references may or may not be landing with the mostly young BeyHive, but that’s not really the point. By rewiring dance music past in a sensory overload of truly stunning ambition and stamina, Beyoncé is writing some history of her own.

As expected, Beyoncé has announced a 2023 world tour on Instagram, supporting her multiple-Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “Renaissance.” She also released the dates and cities on her official website.

The timing of the announcement, which comes just days before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, sparks speculation that the singer may perform or at least appear on the show. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist for the awards with nine, all related to “ Renaissance .” Sources tell Variety that her husband Jay-Z will perform with DJ Khaled on the show, most likely their nominated song “God Did.”

Popular on Variety

Beyoncé has said that “Renaissance” is a three-part project, so it’s possible that the next parts could be another album, a long-form video project or even the tour itself.

Beyoncé’s last full tour was the nearly six-month, 49-date “Formation” tour in 2016, which unusually featured no guest appearances until the final show, at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where she brought out Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.

She did, however, stage an epochal “Homecoming” headlining performance at the 2018 Coachella festival — which was postponed from 2017 due to the birth of her and Jay’s twins — for which she was accompanied by a full marching band in a nod to historically Black colleges and universities. That blockbuster performance was later released as the “Homecoming” album and — via a three-project deal with Netflix that sources tell Variety is worth $60 million — a feature-length documentary. It seems possible that a future “Renaissance” video project could be part of that deal as well.

Beyoncé may be notoriously elusive, but she always has an ear to the streets. On Wednesday (May 8), the Grammy winner shared two Instagram posts commemorating her visit to this year’s Coachella festivities, from supporting protégé Chlöe Bailey to joining in on the “II Hands II Heaven” dance challenge.

Blue Ivy Carter Joins Beyoncé in ‘Lion King’ Prequel ‘Mufasa’: Watch…

To top it all off, Beyoncé tried her hand at the viral “II Hands II Heaven” dance challenge, which began when a fan (X user @cuddapotato ) posted a clip of Drea Kelly’s burlesque rehearsals with the Cowboy Carter standout in place of the original music (April 1). The video quickly went viral because of how well Kelly’s choreography fit to the “II Hands II Heaven” lyrics, “Pull my fit over these hips/ You grip, I grind/ Then taste this wine, I’ma taste what’s mine/ ‘Cause I’ma take what’s mine.”

The video’s virality kicked off a string of other Drea Kelly-meets- Cowboy Carter clips , including hilarious takes on album cuts such as “Desert Eagle,” “Riiverdance” and “Sweet * Honey * Buckiin'” (with Shaboozey ). Queen Bey’s addition to the challenge, which she presumably shot during Coachella, is more stop-motion than a proper video, which only adds to its humor.

In her other post, Beyoncé flaunted her outfit some more and shared sweet pictures with Kelly Rowland and Bailey, who performed an electrifying Coachella set in anticipation for her forthcoming sophomore solo studio album, Trouble In Paradise . On April 20, the “Have Mercy” singer shared her own take on the “II Hands II Heaven” challenge via TikTok , which she shot backstage at Coachella.

Drea Kelly, choreographer, dancer and ex-wife of disgraced R&B singer R. Kelly , has already given the “II Hands II Heaven” challenge her approval.

Beyoncé dropped her  Billboard 200 -topping  Cowboy Carter  album March 29, scoring  simultaneous No. 1 debuts  on Top Country Albums and Top Americana/Folk Albums in the process. Led by the historic  Billboard Hot 100 -topping “Texas Hold ‘Em,” the album features appearances by  several  country music icons and rising stars, from Dolly Parton to Hot Country Songs chart-topper Shaboozey.

Watch Beyoncé take on the “II Hands II Heaven” dance challenge below.
