I came across Kanes music on Facebook. At first, I wasn't really into his style, then I listened to a few more songs and I absolutely love his music. I was at his concert in Springfield, IL and it was amazing. Kane has some real talent. I will be attending more tours forsure! I have the CD closer & purchased a shirt from his concert. I was lucky enough to have a photo with the man. (isnt he a dream). I listen to Kanes music daily, my two year old daughter screams when one track ends until the next comes on!

If you havent been to a concert by Kane I highly suggest you attend!

Just not to long ago I have heard of Kane Brown. One night I was looking at yup tube and I watched the what if video and the video and song was incredible. So I listened to more of his songs and right away I bought his CD's and fell in love with his music and his voice. His concert was great. Now I am 48 years old my baby sister and my mom and her best friend went and we had a fantastic time. I also love the fact that he interacts with the audience and he also brought out the other two singers that opened up for him. I will go see him again definitely. Great time. Great show.

I saw Kane Brown at the Country Tee off at The Bogey Bar and Grill in Dublin, Ohio. For the awesomeness of Kane Brown I feel the event could have done better to do him justice. The acts leading up to Chris Lane and Kane Brown were not all that great. The venue typoed the times of when Chris Lane and Kane Brown were to perform.

Kane Brown was awesome though!! I can't wait for him to return to the Columbus/Dublin, Ohio area!! My husband bought a cd, two hats and shirt!

One of my favorite things about seeing Kane live, you can just feel how humble he is and he interacts with the fans, who he clearly is thankful for. I seen Kane at the same venue a year ago and he has grown tremendously as an artist. This young man is the next big star, so if you get a chance to see him in a small venue, I can't recommend it enough, because he will be headlining sold out arena shows in his near future. I am forever a HUGE fan!

I have been to many concerts. I have seen bigger, "more famous" artist like Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. And while I have loved every minute of them, Kane Brown is my all time favorite concert. He is such a new, raw artist that will defy standards. He gives us music with heart in every song. I strongly recommenced going to one of his concerts. He will be touring with Jason Aldean and I am going for just that reason!

The show was not really nice. There was barely a police presence and the crown was raunchy. multiple drunken fights, weed being smoked, people pushing others to get a closer look. It was awful. We took our son for his 11th birthday because he loves KANE and he saw none of the show because people were beyond hostile and we had to keep him back. Would never attend another concert organized by the same people again.

Kane was really amazing and loved the way he gave us an intro of the way he used to live and what he went through. I would love to back to that day and repeat the night all over again. The only thing that sucked about it was that we weren't able to take a picture with him. But I'm really a big fan of his and enjoyed his songs even more when I seen him "live".

odalys96’s profile image

It was AMAZING! Even better than the last live show I went to of his in March! I got VIP and was really close to the Stage and got to meet him and get my picture taken! He told me my name was cool the way its spelled! Just wish event staff would have been more productive and doing better to make sure VIP got the better spots than general admission.

Kane was amazing and I truly had a great time. He has such an amzing voice and an even more amazing story that he shared with all of us about his tough upbringing. He truly deserves to be living out his dreams. He is full of energy too and felt that he was very interactive with the crowd and kept everything fun! He's the best.

Joining Brown as openers on various dates on the tour are Tyler Hubbard, Jon Pardi, Chris Young, Bailey Zimmerman, Cole Swindell, Parmalee, LOCASH and RaeLynn.

Brown was saluted with the international award during the ACM Honors celebration in Nashville, and earlier this year wrapped the international leg of his Drunk or Dreaming Tour, which visited cities including Sydney, London, Amsterdam and Berlin.

The “Famous Friends” singer just notched his 10th Country Airplay No. 1 hit with “Bury Me in Georgia,” and is gearing up to release his new single, “I Can Feel It,” on Sept. 21. The song samples Phil Collins’ drum solo from his 1981 top 20 Billboard Hot 100 hit “In The Air Tonight.” Collins is credited alongside Brown, Gabe Foust and Jaxson Free as a writer on “I Can Feel It.”

“I was playing Stagecoach and doing interviews there on-site about what would be amazing and unexpected performances you’d want to see happen,” Brown said in a statement, noting his 2023 headlining performance at Stagecoach Country Music Festival. “I think I surprised a lot of interviewers with my answers- which were ‘Cher, Phil Collins…’ and the next day I was writing in Canada and went into the write with those Icons on my mind and just love the way the song came out. I immediately knew I wanted it as my next single.”

Country Star Dylan Schneider Teases Stagecoach Festival 'Surprises' and Kane Brown Tour (Exclusive)

Schneider opens the Stagecoach Festival main stage on Sunday afternoon.

By Stephen Andrew - April 27, 2024 10:59 pm EDT

Country star Dylan Schneider is making his Stagecoach Festival debut this weekend, and fans are definitely in for some 'surprises,' he tells us. PopCulture.com had a chance to chat with Schneider via Zoom, and he teased what the Stagecoach audience can expect from his set, and also opened up about joining Kane Brown on tour later this month.

"I have some fun surprises," Schneider told us, then noting that he and his band are taking a cue from the set they played while opening for Nate Smith in 2023. "We played some cool, fun covers and stuff like that, so I think we're probably going to pull something out like that." He later added, "It's going to be the best collection of the old, the new and have a little fun surprise in there or something possibly as well."

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Dylan Schneider (@dylanschneidermusic)

Schneider — who just released a new EP, Bad Decisions —went on to share how he was feeling in the weeks leading up to his "first time playing Stagecoach," saying that the fact he and his band are playing it all is "the most exciting part" about it. "I've gotten to play a lot of those other big festivals," he continued, "but this was the one I really wanted to cross off the bucket list and the fact that we're going to get to do it and release the EP, it's going to be such a busy weekend. I'm just excited to get out there and experience it for the first time."

After Stagecoach, Schneider will play some other festivals and one-off shows — with artists such as Thomas Rhett and Ashley Cooke — before linking up with Kane Brown's In The Air Tour later this summer. Having already caught one of Brown's concerts, Schneider praised the show saying, "The whole new set's sick. I'm just excited to be a part of the tour."

"I feel like that our style musically and the sound and everything complement each other very well," he went on to say about touring with Brown. "It's good going up for the fans. It makes the show flow nicely. I feel like people that are into his stuff like my stuff, people that are into my stuff like his stuff. It's just a good energy there."

"The few shows we got to play last year went over so well," Schneider continued. "We sold a lot of merch, made a lot of new fans , and we saw that all at the end of those couple runs. That's why I'm excited to even be a small part of this tour this year. I know it's just a few shows and I didn't even expect to be on it, so the fact that we found some time and some shows and made it work and both of our schedules lined up, it's perfect."

Finally, Schneider added, "I'm just excited to get to see the show again, be in the show, everything like that. And like I said, this weekend, his production, everything that I saw up there was amazing. I think it's going to be a great little cherry on top of the summertime and just a fun little couple [of] weekends with him that we weren't expecting to have anyway. It's going to go over well, and every time me and Kane get to play shows, I feel like it's electric."

Stagecoach attendees can catch Schneider when he opens the main stage on Sunday, April 28. Inside Kane Brown's In The Air Tour Houston Show

K ane Brown is in the middle of his In The Air Tour, which will see him play shows from now until the end of September. Country Music Alley had boots on the ground at his Houston show at the Toyota Center, and the Bury Me in Georgia singer didn’t disappoint.

Kane Brown Selling Out Stadiums On In The Air Tour 2024

Kane Brown is one of the hottest acts in country music today. If you’ve ever seen a show when he has come through your city, you know why. Kane is in the middle of a massive undertaking with his In The Air Tour 2024. The tour kicked off on March 28 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the train has been rolling ever since.

In addition to seeing Brown take the stage, he has a number of famous friends showing up on select dates throughout the tour. Some of these opening acts include Jon Pardi, Chris Young, Tyler Hubbard, Jackson Dean, and more. The tour dates for the rest of the shows are scattered all the way up until the last show on September 14 in Arlington, Texas.

Kane Brown Brought The Party To Houston

On April 27, Kane Brown brought the party to the Toyota Center in Houston. Country Music Alley was on hand to take in the festivities. Not surprisingly, Kane Brown didn’t disappoint. The show was originally supposed to start at 7 pm, but, there was a delay.

Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line fame got the party started in a big way. Even with the late start, the show must go on. The only unfortunate aspect of the late start was that Parmalee didn’t get to perform, as they were also supposed to play a set. However, everything still went smoothly otherwise.

One Mississippi Singer Put On A Memorable Show At The Toyota Center

The anticipation was high in the arena once Tyler Hubbard exited the stage, as he did plenty to hype the crowd and get them pumped before Kane Brown took the stage.

The lights dimmed as the buildup instrumentation started for Bury Me in Georgia . The drums thundered, the guitars were perfectly distorted, and the stage was set for Kane Brown to bring the energy for this fan-favorite song, which was also the perfect choice for a show opener.

For roughly the next 90 minutes, Kane Brown brought the house down with many of his biggest hits. Some other songs included in this 17-song Houston set included Grand , I Can Feel It , Fiddle in the Band , and more. He even played Thank God . Unfortunately, his family wasn’t with him , so he sang along to a backing track of his wife’s vocals.

Brown Paid Tribute To Veterans And More

Other highlights included Brown playing a stripped-down cover of Georgia (on My Mind) , as well as Kane bringing Tyler Hubbard back to the stage for Famous Friends .

He even brought a family to the stage ahead of performing Homesick . It’s a song that Brown often dedicates to those in the military during his live performances. Husband and dad, Archie, is away on deployment, but, Kane Brown and his team played a special video message from Archie to his family on the big screen before playing the song. It was certainly a heartfelt moment that made the song hit you in the feels that much harder.

Brown closed his Houston show in front of a packed Toyota Center with Like I Love Country Music . Brown and his band delivered a memorable performance from start to finish. This even included an extended instrumental segment at the end, giving Brown time to sign autographs and take selfies for eager fans.

Brown closed the show by taking his shirt off and throwing it into the crowd while cameras followed him backstage. All of this went down while his band continued to play their hearts out until the final note.

Kane Brown and his crew put on the kind of show that will have concert-goers talking about their experience for years to come. If you have the chance to see Kane Brown in your city on this tour cycle, you won’t regret grabbing a ticket to see this one-of-a-kind concert experience.

For all the latest country music news, come back again to Country Music Alley .

Top concerts playing Phoenix in May 2024: Justin Timberlake, Luke Combs, Rolling Stones

kane brown tour az

We’ve got two huge tours playing State Farm Stadium in Glendale this month — the Rolling Stones on their first tour since losing drummer Charlie Watts in support of their first album of original material in nearly 20 years, and country singer Luke Combs, who required two nights at the stadium to meet demand for tickets to his latest tour.

There are also some massive arena tours headed our way, from Pepe Aguilar to Colombian musical sensation Feid to Romeo Santos reuniting Aventura and Justin Timberlake for the first time in five years.

And we’re not out of festival season yet, despite those rising temperatures.

The Flaming Lips will headline Pure Imagination on a bill that also features Tanya Tucker (two names rarely featured in a single sentence) while Boots in the Park returns to Tempe with Kane Brown as the main attraction.

Here’s a look at the biggest concerts coming to metro Phoenix in May 2024.

Sometimes known as the Latin Madonna, this Mexican-American singer found success on the Latin pop scene of the '80s, topping Billboard's Latin Songs chart with a 1990 cover of the Barbara George hit "I Know (You Don't Love Me No More)," titled "Ya No."

Led by the distinctive rasp of Richard Butler, the Furs are best remembered for such '80s New Wave classics as "Love My Way," "Pretty in Pink" and "Heartbreak Beat." And they're still adding to that legacy. Their latest album, 2020's "Made of Rain," became their second-highest-charting UK album ever and appeared in year-end lists at Mojo, Uncut, Classic Pop and more. They're joined by roots-punk legends John Doe & Exene Cervenka of X.

These hip-hop sensations were at the forefront of the West Coast rap scene in the early ‘90s, sending both sides of their debut single — “How I Could Just Kill a Man” and “The Phuncky Feel One” — to the top of Billboard’s rap charts. Their biggest hit is the classic “Insane in the Brain” from their second album. As a nod to Cypress Hill's long-standing pro-marijuana advocacy and activism, $1 of each ticket sold throughout the 13-date We Legalized It Tour will be donated to the non-profit, The Last Prisoner Project.

The Rolling Stones

This is the Rolling Stones' third time at State Farm Stadium, their first since losing Charlie Watts, the jazz-loving, sharp-dressing drummer who died in 2021. Wondering whether this could be the last time is perhaps a bit more grounded in reality in 2024 than it was in 1989 when Mick Jagger was moved to respond to the question at a press conference announcing their tour in support of "Steel Wheels" with “First asked in 1966!” But don't mistake this for a pilgrimage. The Stones' last Valley show in 2019 was a wonderfully unpolished thrill, put across with the signature cocktail of swagger and reckless abandon they've been chasing all along. Plus, they're touring on their first new album of original material in nearly 20 years and it's as good as anything they've done since "Tattoo You" in 1981.

They were the toast of the post-punk revival, topping Pitchfork's year-end album list in 2002 with their first album, "Turn on the Bright Lights," and following through with the just-as-likely-to-be-showered-in-comparisons-to-Joy-Division mainstream breakthrough, "Antics," in 2004. When their latest album hit the streets in 2022, Spin magazine responded with "'The Other Side of Make-Believe' maintains the charm and intrigue that made Interpol indie darlings 20 years ago, but it also finds the band aging gracefully — these brooding New York boys are now men who embrace their emotions." And don't miss the opening set by local shoegaze revivalists Glixen.

Romeo Santos, the "King of Bachata," has reunited his group Aventura for a U.S. tour titled Cerrando Ciclos. This tour is said to be the last time Santos and Aventura will join forces on stage, offering an opportunity to relive the hits that defined an era in Latin music. Aventura took bachata to new heights while blending modern rhythms with the authentic essence of the genre. In a message to fans on social media, Santos said, "I want you to join me on a journey where I will be definitively closing cycles. Because it is not the same to remember beautiful times as it is to be a prisoner of the past. We cannot stagnate in the nostalgia of yesterday, but rather move forward, discover new horizons and show other facets.”

I caught this '80s icon revisiting "Kings of the Wild Frontier" in its entirety in Tucson in 2017 and it was everything a fan could hope to witness. As I wrote at the time: "As tempting as it may have been to make some sort of reference to 'Stand and Deliver' here, I will say that he did deliver, but he didn’t do much standing, dancing and working the stage with a youthful exuberance most entertainers half his age would do well to aspire to in his black leather pants and dashing pirate garb.” He's joined on the Antmusic 2024 Tour by fellow veterans of the New Wave years the English Beat.

Robin Wilson and Stephen Ashbrook

The Crescent Ballroom website has been billing this show as "iconic Phoenix alt-rock." And other than the fact that we'd have gone with Tempe, that seems right. Wilson is, of course, the singer for the legendary Gin Blossoms, who went from one of Mill Avenue's hottest reasons to get drunk to modern-rock radio hitmakers thanks to the quadruple-platinum success of 1992's "New Miserable Experience." Now based in Portland, Oregon, Ashbrook was another major player on the Tempe music scene that flourished in the '90s, fronting Satellite.

In a press release, Green said, “’Ain’t My Last Rodeo’ is inspired by what I know best: hard work, life outdoors and family and it’s going to be fun adding these new songs to our full set.”

Chris Isaak

The man has worn his share of hats since "Wicked Game" turned up in David Lynch's "Wild at Heart." He's been a talk-show host, a sitcom star, a SWAT commander in "The Silence of the Lambs," No. 68 on of VH1's list of sexiest artists and a singer whose music continues to embody the qualities that made his early records so evocative. "First Comes the Night," his latest non-holiday effort, finds Isaak channeling the sound and spirit of the Sun recording artists he saluted on "Beyond the Sun," especially Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley, while sounding more timeless than retro.

This is part of Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts' new outdoor concert series, where artists perform as night falls on the West Bowl and audiences relax in the grass. It's been a minute since Gabriel Sullivan and Brian Lopez of Tucson's XIXA member Brian Lopez began incorporating chicha, an intoxicating Peruvian blend of cumbias and psychedelic rock, into a sound they labeled mystic desert rock. On "Genesis," their latest full-length effort, those elements are filtered through their love of old Spaghetti Western scores, Tejano and a brooding vocal presence, courtesy of Sullivan, that often ventures into territory best described as gothic. They're joined by Phoenix-based Latin folk fusion band Medio Pinto.

Waxahatchee

The Telegraph hailed Katie Crutchfield's latest Waxahatchee album, "Tigers Blood," as "another beautiful slice of country-tinged magic that never descends into nostalgia." This is true. It's also true that "Tiger's Blood" finds the American stalwart, as NME wrote, "at the top of her game." And the top of Crutchfield's game is pretty daunting stuff. The Skinny praised her previous release, "Saint Cloud," as "the high watermark of modern Americana, gorgeous in its arrangements and sumptuous in its emotional literacy."

When he’s not playing bass in Ty Segall’s band Fuzz, Chad Ubovich is carrying the torch for psychedelic music at the helm of Meatbodies, whose latest album, “Flora Ocean Tiger Bloom,” eases the listener into the acid with the trance-inducing stoner rock of “The Assignment,” one of four tracks on this headphone record for the ages that passes the six-minute threshold without wearing out its welcome. As Dusted magazine sums it up, “It is a sprawling, roaring, wild beast of an album.” And there’s no reason to believe it won’t be even better live, especially in a room the size of Rebel Lounge.

Marcus King

The young blues guitarist is touring the States in support of “Mood Swings,” a new album produced by Rick Rubin. Drawing on King’s darkest moments, the album became a beacon of hope for King, who once believed he was destined to die at his own hand, as he created it. A review in Variety suggested that "the album can overall best be described as: What if Al Green also played a mean axe and made a record about dealing with anxiety and depression?” Rolling Stone was equally impressed, saying, "The lyrical conventions of a hand-me-down genre are enlivened with genuinely personal urgency."

Wednesday's "Rat Saw God" was arguably last year's finest hour by an artist you could reasonably label "rock," an unvarnished treasure that effortlessly blurs the lines between Americana, indie-rock and shoegaze in a feedback-laden squall of sound, at times descending into pure cacophony as it does on "Bull Believer," where Karly Hartzman's tortured howls are underscored by utter chaos. As Sputnikmusic raved: "Without polish or overproduction, Wednesday sound is a powerful exclamation of a narrative, full of noise, beauty, and deeply relatable feelings and stories. It may not feel perfect, but it’s real." I would, however, argue that it couldn't hope to feel more perfect than it does.

No Ripcord heard the album as a huge step forward, writing, "It’s not simply an incremental improvement. It’s a quantum leap. "Diamond Destroyer of Death," these local rockers' latest effort, is a modern masterpiece of psychedelic chamber pop that feels a bit like an album-length suite. There's a dynamic range that guarantees the moments meant to be majestic are, in fact, a thing of wonder, from the time they hit you with the cinematic splendor of the chorus that appears as if by magic on an opener called "Copperfield," when Owen Evans tells you "I can make the world disappear." And it kind of does disappear for the length of the album that transports you to a world of Evans' making.

Their breakthrough album, "Twilight of the Thunder God," was No. 6 on Metal Hammer's countdown of 2008's best albums. She headlined M3F Fest in 2023, telling the crowd, "This is my first time ever headlining a festival in the United States.” It was a shocking revelation, given the total command of the stage the former Best New Artist Grammy nominee displayed in that performance. StarTribune

Review: country star kane brown disappoints at target center.

Descending from the light rigging high above the scene, Kane Brown hovered over the stage on a small platform to kick off his concert Friday night at a packed Target Center.

That's similar to the way the country superstar launched his show 27 months ago at the same arena. Only this time, the outfit and the song were different: Instead of a Timberwolves jersey, Brown opted for a stylish black jacket with stripes made of fancy string and no ballcap. And the song was "Bury Me in Georgia," a stomping chant delivered with Brown's unmistakable buzzing baritone.

The outfit and the opener weren't the only things different. Brown's performance was louder and slicker, less personal and appealing than 2022′s terrific concert. And Friday's encore-less, seemingly rushed effort was remarkably short, at only 75 minutes.

What was missing most of all was the 30-year-old injecting his story, personality and humanity into the show. Last time, on his first arena headlining tour, he shared his compelling and revealing backstory in conversation. The Tennessee-reared singer talked about wetting his bed at age 6, which resulted in his stepfather roughing him up and grandma turning in the abuser to authorities. He spoke about being the only person of color in his mom's family (he's biracial) and meeting his older siblings when he was 16.

Two years ago, he discussed growing up poor in trailer parks, wearing his water shoes to play basketball and attending seven different high schools. He recalled placing first and second in a high school talent show and giving his winnings ($75) to his mom.

And last time, he got emotional thinking about his two daughters. This time, he mentioned his wife, Katelyn, only because she wasn't in attendance to sing their hit duet "Thank God." Her voice materialized via recording. After the song, Brown frowned. "It's always a sad song to sing when she's not here," he said.

That was about as personal as he got all night.

Brown specializes in sentimental ballads like "Good as You," which was delivered on a small stage at the back of the arena, and "Heaven," a pretty celebration of love that was the penultimate piece Friday. While those were smartly understated, his rendition of "Georgia on My Mind" — which he said he recorded for the recent Masters golf tournament — found the inviting intimacy of his croon on the small stage obliterated by the too-loud band playing 70 yards away on the main stage.

The six-man band provided plenty of power on "What Ifs," "One Mississippi" and the kinetic "Fiddle in the Band."

"I'm a little bit of bass, 808s, a little bit of clap your hands / I'm a little bit of six strings on a backbeat with a fiddle in the band," Brown sang between twangy blasts from his band on the latter number.

Indeed, he's one of the most open-minded and eclectic musical figures associated with country music. Not only has he collaborated with an array of country stars including Blake Shelton, Chris Young and Lauren Alaina, but EDM ace Marshmello, Latin pop star Camila Cabello and R&B stalwarts Khalid, H.E.R. and John Legend, to name a few.

On Friday, Brown offered his Marshmello number "One Thing Right" as well as his duet with rapper Blackbear, "Memory," and his Young collab "Famous Friends," with opening acts Parmalee and Tyler Hubbard joining in on the party tune.

Brown, whose fourth album is due this year, introduced one new number, "Haunted," about struggling with depression. He said it was going to be his new single until two days ago; he didn't elaborate. The alluring selection was enveloped in flame throwers, fireworks and a ponderous electric guitar solo.

After closing with the honky-tonk boogie and buzzing rock guitar of "Like I Love Country Music," Brown reprised what he did last time at Target Center: Stripped off his tank top, tossed it to the crowd and exited.

Opening act Hubbard has been on a hot streak since he left the blockbuster duo Florida Georgia Line a couple of years ago. The Georgia native, 37, has landed a trio of tunes in the top-three slots on Billboard's country chart. But the well-crafted material he played Friday was geared more to the radio than an arena. During his 45-minute set, Hubbard connected with the crowd only on the Florida Georgia Line crossover smash "Cruise" and his own breezy bop "Dancin' in the Country."

Kicking off the night was Parmalee, a North Carolina quartet with three No. 1 country hits on its résumé. But the group needed to offer Usher's "Yeah" to spice up their bland country-pop set.

Jon Bream has been a music critic at the Star Tribune since 1975, making him the longest tenured pop critic at a U.S. daily newspaper. He has attended more than 8,000 concerts and written four books (on Prince, Led Zeppelin, Neil Diamond and Bob Dylan). Thus far, he has ignored readers’ suggestions that he take a music-appreciation class.
