Age Requirements: Access to this event is open to all ages.

Attendee Details: Autograph Credit cardholders will have an exclusive window to purchase tickets to the concert through Thursday, August 22nd at 10:00 a.m. ET. If tickets are still available on August 22nd, other Wells Fargo credit cardholders will have the opportunity to purchase.

Ticket Cost: $75.00 all-in (no additional fees)

Ticket Options: General admission, standing room, and reserved seated tickets in the mezzanine.

Ticket Limits: Limit of four (4) tickets.

MALUMA'S "PAPI JUANCHO" WORLD TOUR COMES TO STATE FARM ARENA OCTOBER 7, 2021

Maluma is going back on tour, unveiling U.S. dates and venues of his Papi Juancho 2021 World Tour on Monday (Feb. 22).

“I can’t believe I’m finally announcing my next tour, I’m crying of joy,” he expressed on Instagram. “I miss you guys, finallyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!”

The U.S. leg of his tour will kick off on Sept. 2 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif., and will run until Oct. 24 at Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL, with a stop at the award-winning State Farm Arena on Thursday, Oct. 7 in Atlanta.  

The fall tour, produced by Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), will also make pit stops in cities such as Las Vegas, New York, and Miami, to name a few, with additional tour dates potentially added in the coming weeks.

"I couldn't be more excited to announce my return to the concert stage. It’s what I have been dreaming about for months and we are going to celebrate together like never before,” the Colombian singer expressed in a press statement. “It’s going to be a celebration! This will be my fourth U.S. tour and I am planning a brand new show full of surprises for my fans and lots of new music off my last two albums ‘Papi Juancho’ and ‘7DJ.’”

General tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. local time on February 26 via Ticketmaster, AXS for select venues, and Hacienda Midland for Odessa, Texas. An exclusive fan pre-sale on Feb. 25 will be made available by Maluma on Instagram as well as a pre-sale by CMN and WK Entertainment using the code: CMN, WKE.

According to the statement, “CMN will follow and comply with recommendations and guidelines imposed by governmental authorities and public health departments.”

Maluma Plots United States Tour for Fall

Colombian superstar Maluma has announced a United States tour that will tentatively kick off this fall.

The arena trek — which is arguably one of the biggest to be announced since the Covid-19 pandemic brought touring to a halt last year — is scheduled to start September 2nd at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. It will wrap on October 24th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.

In a statement, per Billboard , Maluma said: “I couldn’t be more excited to announce my return to the concert stage. It’s what I have been dreaming about for months and we are going to celebrate together like never before. It’s going to be a celebration! This will be my fourth U.S. tour and I am planning a brand new show full of surprises for my fans and lots of new music off my last two albums Papi Juancho and 7DJ. ”

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on February 26th at 10 a.m. local time mainly via Ticketmaster (complete information is available on Maluma’s website ). Additionally, Maluma announced a pre-sale for fans on Instagram starting February 25th, while promoters CMN and WK Entertainment will have a pre-sale using the code “CMN, WKE.”

Maluma’s tour generally fits with the live entertainment industry’s hope that concerts and touring would be able to return by this fall. Still, with many uncertainties surrounding the safety of large gatherings during the pandemic, even as more people get vaccinated, CMN said it will “follow and comply with recommendations and guidelines imposed by governmental authorities and public health departments” throughout Maluma’s tour.

Colombian singer-songwriter Maluma has announced a huge world tour beginning later in 2023 behind his upcoming album 'Don Juan' . The U.S. portion of the tour kicks off August 31st in Sacramento and runs into November visiting major markets like Seattle, Inglewood, Las Vegas, Dallas, New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, Tampa and Miami. Back in 2021, the urbano artist launched his Papi Juancho Tour which stretched into 2022 and visited North America, Europe and Central/South America.

Maluma's sixth studio album 'Don Juan' follows up 2020's 'Papi Juancho' which was certified 5x Platinum (Latin) by the RIAA and features guest appearances by Zion , Yomo , Lenny Tavárez , Justin Quiles , Myke Towers , Ñengo Flow , Jory Boy , Ñejo and Darell . Also in 2020, his #1 album '11:11' received a nomination for Best Latin Pop Album at the Grammy Awards. Firebrand Rep. Matt Gaetz cruised to victory in his Republican primary for reelection Tuesday — swatting down a challenge from Navy veteran Aaron Dimmock, who was backed by allies of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

The 42-year-old incumbent had been heavily favored to win the contest, which was the last stop in McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) so-called “revenge tour.”

Gaetz hadn’t faced a serious primary challenge since first getting elected to Congress in 2016. His ruby-red 1st Congressional District of Florida is widely seen as a safe seat in the general election.

This election cycle, allies of McCarthy sought to recruit challengers to take down the eight Republicans who banded together with a solid bloc of Democrats to oust him from the speakership.

Gaetz was the last of those eight to face reelection.

The Sunshine State Republican led a mutiny against McCarthy last October in protest over his decision to put through a temporary spending patch.

That move came as Congress was staring down the barrel of a government shutdown because it had not been able to wrangle through the necessary appropriations bills in time.

McCarthy was the first speaker in US history to have been successfully ousted.

Efforts by him and his allies to exact revenge had largely been unsuccessful. Just one of them, Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good (R-Va.), has lost his primary.

Two others — Reps. Ken Buck (R-Col.) and Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.) — opted against running for reelection.

One key distinction between Gaetz and Good is that the Floridian has close relations with former President Donald Trump. The former president had endorsed Good’s opponent.

During the Florida GOP primary cycle this year, The Freedom Patriots PAC — a group that is widely seen as aligned with McCarthy — spent some $3 million to take down Gaetz.

They appeared to ramp down spending on the primary weeks before Tuesday.

Some of the attacks against Gaetz included ads predicated on allegations that the congressman engaged in sexual misconduct.

Other ads highlighted his past ties with ex-Florida tax collector Joel Greenberg, who was sentenced to 11 years behind bars for sex trafficking, among other crimes.

Gaetz has long denied the allegations against him and cited the Justice Department’s decision against bringing charges as vindication.

In June, the House Ethics Committee confirmed it reopened an inquiry into accusations of sexual misconduct and drug abuse against Gaetz.

Throughout his primary challenge, the incumbent congressman has run ads touting his ties to Trump and ripped Dimmock over his past in diversity training.

Don’t miss the rare super blue moon light up NYC: when and where to watch

It will be several years before this phenomenon happens again.

If you've ever used the expression "once in a blue moon," then you might already have some idea of how rare blue moons are. Now take that rarity and triple it to get a sense of how truly infrequent the celestial events are. 

Luckily for New Yorkers, we're about to experience a super blue moon on Monday, August 19, so be ready to keep your eye on the sky at night.

Here is everything you need to know in order to get the best out of the upcoming super blue moon event in the NYC area. 

What is a blue moon ?

A blue moon doesn't actually refer to the color of the moon. It has more to do with the frequency of a full moon, specifically referring to being able to see it more than once a month, according to   NASA .

Because the cycle of the full moon is 29.5 days, it's rare for a full moon to happen more than once a month, which is why blue moons only happen every two or three years.

Although the earlier part of the day brought overcast skies, it's expected to clear up in the later afternoon and into the night. We might see some clouds again around midnight, the weather is looking promising for a great view of the moon tonight. The weather for the rest of the week is looking pretty clear, too. 

When and how to see the super blue moon in NYC

The super blue moon will peak at 2:26pm on Monday but we won't be able to see it since it'll still be daytime.

Don't despair, though: even though we'll miss its peak, the super full moon will still be visible for three days. That means that for the first half of next week, the moon will appear larger and brighter than usual. 

How rare is a super blue moon ?

A super blue moon is the combination of a blue moon and a super moon. Super moons happen when a moon's orbit is within 90% of its closest approach to earth, per ABC News . At this stage, the moon appears larger and up to one-third brighter than the moon on a regular night. 

Blue moons and super moons don't coincide often. In fact, super blue moons only happen about once every 10 years, or sometimes as infrequently as once every 20 years . 

The super blue moon ’s spiritual meaning

The super blue moon's spiritual meaning varies from culture to culture, but is often seen as an omen of growth, wisdom and new opportunities. 

According to astrology, this super blue moon will be in Aquarius and is expected to bring a surge of electric and revolutionary energy. Also according to astrology, this super blue moon will most affect those who have Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius placements. 

When will the next super blue moon be?

The next super blue moon won't be until 2037, so you better catch this one.

Future and Metro Boomin completed the We Trust You Tour three-peat on Thursday night (Aug. 15) and the Atlanta rapper-producer duo saved the best for last in Brooklyn following back-to-back shows in Boston and Philadelphia earlier this week.

The We Trust You Tour rumbled through New York City to invade BK’s Barclays Center for the 12th of 27 shows slated on the North American trek.

Young Metro got the party started around 9:30 p.m. ET with a solo set, and then Future tagged to run through his own string of hits from his decorated discography before they reunited for the stretch run to bring the show across the finish line.

There were plenty of surprises in Brooklyn — one being a few brave fans rocking Drake’s OVO brand and Drizzy tour merch to the show. Another came when a New York City artist showcase broke out in the midst of set changes which was headlined by cameos from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Cash Cobain and Fivio Foreign.

The crown jewel shock of the night took place near the very end of the concert when “Type Shit” collaborator Travis Scott popped out to bring the rage to the Barclays, which sent the Brooklyn crowd into an absolute frenzy.

Between La Flame’s guest appearance and “Like That,” Metro and Future attempted to calm the sugar rush and euphoric high the audience was on with the demure We Still Don’t Trust You opening track as their final offering before closing the curtain around 11:15 p.m. ET.

IMAX Movie Theater Visuals

Metro Boomin and Future spared no expense with their IMAX movie theater screen worthy visuals. For those not close enough to the stage, fans still got an HD look at the designer wardrobe of the rapper-producer duo. The visuals also added to the stage’s aesthetic as it changed behind Metro during his set to a dark cave and flipped to pouring up some purple drank. Between the jumbotron screen and pyrotechnics, Metro and Future are taking their stage presence seriously while elevating their own art.

Metro Boomin's Set Serves As Reminder of His Production Greatness

Metro Boomin went back-to-back in topping the Billboard 200 earlier this year with his pair of joint albums alongside Future, but he takes his solo set to remind fans just how long he’s been at this as a hitmaker. From Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” to 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” and even iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday,” Metro’s versatility was on full display. The only Drake inclusion happened to be Certified Lover Boy’s “Knife Talk,” which saw Metro play Project Pat’s verse only. It’s a shame — due to their feud — all of the What A Time to Be Alive anthems are nowhere to be found.

A New York City Showcase of Special Guests

Before returning to the stage for their joint set, Metro and Future took a breather to let some of New York City’s own shine. It was a rapid fire of special guests from the Big Apple with Lola Brooke, Sleepy Hallow, Sheff G, Bay Swag, Cash Cobain and Fivio Foreign.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie loves New York City and NYC loves him back. The Bronx native moves the needle as a pop from the audience reserved for superstars was heard throughout Barclays Center when A Boogie showed up to close out the NYC special guests set with his 2016 multi-platinum fan-favorite “Jungle.” The 28-year-old hosted his first NYC arena show at Madison Square Garden in June, and there’s clearly an appetite for another one in the Big Apple.

"March Madness" Is Still the One

It’s definitely not March, but the madness is here. Even nine years after landing as part of Future’s 56 Nights mixtape run in 2015, “March Madness” remains sonically fresh and causes chaos with fans spilling their drinks while singing every last word of Future’s questionable drug-fueled decisions on the Tarentino-produced anthem. It’s sandwiched in the midst of Pluto’s solo set, but a testament to how deep Future’s catalog and bag of hits really is.

The Freebandz x YSL bond will never be broken. Future took time during his set to salute Thug and support his Super Slimey partner’s fight for freedom as he remains behind bars. “We need to free my brother,” Pluto said before performing their polygamous BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS collab “Relationship.”

Travis Scott Brings the Rage to Brooklyn

Travis Scott is the king of his rap generation and heavy is the crown. Fans went ballistic when realizing that La Flame’s AutoTuned vocals on “Type Shit” were actually coming from his live mic and not a recording. Any normal concert becomes a unique experience when Scott’s energy radiates throughout the venue, and his appearance cemented a memorable night for the Brooklyn faithful. The Houston native made the Barclays Center crew blackout the stage as he introduced the mosh pit rage of “FE!N” to close out his cameo. It’s just a taste of what’s to come for the Tri-State area when Scott returns for a show at Metlife Stadium in October.

Harris and Walz Venture Into Less-Friendly Terrain to Court Pennsylvania Voters

The Democratic presidential ticket went to the crucial swing state on Sunday to visit areas that are competitive and somewhat more conservative.

Before their convention this week that will signal the final sprint to November, Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, headed out on a brief bus tour on Sunday to fire up voters in perhaps the most crucial battleground state in the 2024 election.

As they toured western Pennsylvania, their play for support beyond the state’s more liberal cities was apparent at the team’s first stop, a field office in Rochester, Pa., in the largely conservative Beaver County: Ms. Harris picked up a volunteer’s cellphone to speak with a resident from Erie, a northwestern city in one of the state’s swingiest counties, which Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 but Joseph R. Biden Jr. won four years later.

“I love Erie,” Ms. Harris said. “At some point we’ll get to Erie.”

Ms. Harris and Mr. Walz were joined on the outing by their spouses, Doug Emhoff and Gwen Walz, traveling in two new campaign buses from the Pittsburgh airport, where they arrived on Air Force Two to greet a small group of supporters.

The Pittsburgh and Philadelphia areas are the two main drivers of Democratic support in Pennsylvania, a state whose 19 electoral votes could decide the presidency. Recent polling shows a neck-and-neck race there between Ms. Harris and former President Donald J. Trump, with some surveys showing Ms. Harris gaining a narrow edge recently.

Mr. Trump is also increasing his presence in Pennsylvania: On Saturday he held a rally in Wilkes-Barre and another is set in York on Monday, while Senator JD Vance of Ohio, his running mate, campaigns in Philadelphia.

Both candidates have used their trips in the state to make attacks.

Speaking to a crowd of supporters outside the Rochester campaign office on Sunday, Ms. Harris appeared to suggest that Mr. Trump was a “coward” — just a day after he had called her a “radical” and a “lunatic” in Wilkes-Barre.

“Over the last several years there’s been this kind of perversion that has taken place, I think, which is to suggest that the measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down,” Ms. Harris said — though she did not name Mr. Trump. “Anybody who’s about beating down other people is a coward.”

President Biden often preferred to campaign in Philadelphia, by far the state’s largest metro area. The city is easily reached from Washington and close to his home state of Delaware, nestled in friendly territory surrounded by counties he carried in 2020 .

Outside Allegheny County, where Pittsburgh sits, western Pennsylvania is less hospitable to Democrats, and Ms. Harris’s visit there suggests she may branch out more than Mr. Biden did.

“God bless them, they need to,” Nancy Cannon, a retired teacher who showed up at the Pittsburgh airport, said of the campaign’s planned visits. She described a landscape of Trump supporters, where she knew of Democrats who were afraid to put out their own lawn signs. “Maybe they would feel more supported,” she said, if Ms. Harris and Mr. Walz showed up.

Ms. Cannon said Ms. Harris’s swift ascent to the top of the Democratic ticket had given a jolt of energy to her family and friends. “I love Joe. But I am happier to see a younger person. I feel like this is an Obama moment.”

The trip points to the Democratic hopes that Mr. Walz can help the party reach working-class voters outside the big cities. The suburbs and small towns surrounding Pittsburgh resemble areas in Minnesota where Mr. Walz has performed well in his previous races.

One campaign stop on Sunday was also a clear effort to tap into Mr. Walz’s personal history: a football practice at Aliquippa High School in a former steel town with many Black residents that has struggled economically for decades. Mr. Walz’s own experience as a high school football coach has been a touchstone of the campaign so far, with Ms. Harris occasionally referring to him as “Coach Walz.”

Mr. Walz told the team he “remembered every single call” from his team’s state football championship. He and Ms. Harris were joined at the event by Jerome Bettis, the Hall of Fame running back who won a Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mr. Bettis, nicknamed The Bus, was a surprise, if appropriately named, addition to the Harris-Walz motor coach tour, which also made short stops at a nearby firehouse, a Sheetz gas station and Primanti Bros., a beloved chain of sandwich shops founded in Pittsburgh.

“The way you win elections in Pennsylvania is literally going everywhere,” said Lt. Gov. Austin Davis of Pennsylvania, a Democrat who is from the Pittsburgh area. “Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, but all the small communities in between.”

Mr. Davis also said that Ms. Harris would find a welcome audience in the working-class region for the economic agenda she rolled out last week that focused on lowering the costs of everyday life and cutting taxes for working families.

Conor Lamb, a Democrat who once represented a congressional district outside Pittsburgh, said Mr. Biden had become well known to many Pennsylvania voters, thanks to his decades of service as a senator in neighboring Delaware, an advantage Ms. Harris does not possess.

Mr. Lamb said that the bus tour reflected the fact that Democrats had learned their lesson from Mrs. Clinton losing the state after focusing most of her campaign on the major cities.

“You can’t just do Philly and Pittsburgh and rely on social media,” Mr. Lamb said.

And he agreed that Ms. Harris’s economic plans would be popular in places like Rochester, a small town once known for its glassmaking factories that sits in his old district.

“Some of the things that she laid out in that speech — the child tax credit, extending health care subsidies — all that kind of stuff is just universal,” Mr. Lamb said. “That should do as well in Rochester as it does in the heart of the city of Pittsburgh. And I’ve felt in the past that Democrats were a little bit afraid to go on the offense in those areas.”
