QUEEN IN CONCERT: DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE QUEEN ON TOUR IN 2017 Hands down Queen is the most famous and iconic stadium rock bands the world has ever seen. Originally fronted by the charismatic Freddie Mercury, they have produced anthems such as "We Are The Champions" and "We Will Rock You" along with the one-of-a-kind “Bohemian Rhapsody”. Queen have recorded countless No. 1 albums and singles.  It's estimated they have sold over 200 million records, making them one of the biggest selling artists of all time. The original line-up of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon formed in London in 1970. The band enjoyed success with albums Queen and Queen II, but they found international fame with the release of Sheer Heart Attack in 1974. While their first two albums were more traditional progressive or hard rock in approach, Sheer Heart Attack and it's even more popular follow-up A Night At The Opera were much more eclectic albums. The music was more experimental and more fun, striking a chord with music lovers everywhere. The monster hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” stayed at No. 1 in the UK charts for nine weeks and became a worldwide hit. From the late 70s to the late 80s, Queen continued to release acclaimed and successful albums such as News Of The World in 1977, Flash Gordon movie soundtrack in 1980, The Works in 1984 and A Kind Of Magic in 1986. Songs such as "Killer Queen", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Under Pressure", with David Bowie, added to Queen's legacy of hugely popular songs, with classical elements. Dubbed the greatest live rock act ever by many fans, Queen have had several iconic concerts including a charity show at Wembley Stadium for Live Aid in 1985, and a series of sell-outs at Madison Square Garden in New York. Mixing glam rock, heavy metal, pop anthems and operatic vocals, Queen offers a truly one-of-a-kind live experience that has thrilled millions of live fans across the globe. After the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991 the remaining band members re-released “Bohemian” Rhapsody in Freddie's memory and raised over one million pounds for charity while reaching No. 1 for an unprecedented fourth separate occasion in the UK. In more recent years, Brian May and Roger Taylor continue to keep the Queen experience alive, often working with Paul Rodgers and other guest front-men. Recent guest collaborations include working with the Foo Fighters in Las Vegas and with Jessie J at the Olympics Closing Ceremony.

Once in a Lifetime

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity seeing Queen live from the floor. Despite standing the entire time, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Do I wish people sat for some of it so I could see better as a shorter girl, yes, but I loved the crowds energy and I could see their beautiful faces just fine. Also, watching the screen too ain’t bad. The screen added so much to the show on top of the amazing set design! It added to the perfection that is Queen! I also loved our Freddie moments so so much!! I just know he’d be proud. Adam + Brian and Roger were amazing as I expected!! I teared up during the opening and now I have post concert depression because I can’t believe it’s over and I wanted it to last forever. An experience I will never forget and would love to experience again in my lifetime!

Premium Seats are a WASTE!!

Queen & Adam Lambert were to die for!! BUT I paid $1100 for PREMIUM SEATS & all I could see was the SCREEN!! NEVER 1 time did I get to see them in person! The ppl in the row in front of me did NOT have Premium Seats. How did they get better seats?? The floor seats were all on ground level & everyone stood up the entire 2.5 hours. All I could see was the back of heads! I bought tickets the DAY they were available 7 months ago & this was my lifelong birthday present. I was SO DISAPPOINTED in my seats!! The elevated side seats would have been better. I know I will never get another opportunity to see them.

Queen Rocked TD Garden in Boston

Queen rocked TD Garden in Boston Monday night with its distinctive sound, campy theatrics and breathtaking visual effects. Adam Lambert has been serving as frontman for the group for the last decade, establishing his unique style rather than mimicking Freddy Mercury. Adam’s powerful tenor voice covered a wide vocal range. He interacted so well with the audience, had fantastic costumes, and his campiness was on full display as he posed on a flashy chrome motorcycle while singing “Bicycle” and applied pretend makeup during “Killer Queen”. Brian May’s virtuoso guitar playing is responsible for Queen’s sound since its inception. He evokes emotion via a wide range of sounds with his precise picking and the use of tremolo bar and foot pedals in a seemingly effortless manner. Roger Taylor’s skilled passionate drumming was also on full display. They were supported by a pianist, second drummer/vocalist and bass guitar. They played all the favorites and a few lesser known songs, which slowed the pace of the show, only to revert to the favorites. Bohemian Rhapsody was followed by Ay-Oh with the audience interacting with a screen version of Freddy Mercury. The encore concluded with a resounding version of We Are Champions.

Best queen show by far

I’m 62, seen queen 5x since 1978. This was by far and away their best show and here’s why -2:15 open to close, their longest show yet -incredible mix of songs only a true Queen fan could appreciate such as 39, Is this the world we created, and prophets song, & I’m in love with my car -unbelievable use of technology to make it more than Just a music show -outstanding vocals by Adam Lambert. -incredible stage presence and show format, the performance touches everyone with good seats(eye contact, movement on the stage, recognizing they need to help everyone feel acknowledged - incredible backup band to aid with full rich Queen sound on song such as Somebody to love You will not be disappointed! Worth the money !

I was never priveleged enough to get to see Freddie🥲….but my love for him and the boys LIVES ON!! I sat on stage with them in 2018. Yes Adam Lambert sang-he is NOT Freddie-even he says that, but it was absolutely phenomenal! We all know and love Freddie, but he is gone sadly….it was an absolutely phenomenal experience the concert in and of itself blows anyone else out of the water!! I’m so excited to get to see them again in October!! Brian can still make his guitar sing and Roger is still so stinking handsome and an amazing drummer too!! Neil and Tyler are just outstanding also….you don’t want to miss this experience!

Real rock and roll fan

This isn’t Queen. This is an absolute joke of a band. Queen did nothing after News If The World.

I never saw queen with Freddie(my loss) but Adam was pretty darn good. I saw them at Msg and a month later at the global citizens event in central park. 75000 just loving the featured act.

I've seen Queen 3 times, from '93-'00, & They were

I've seen Them without Freddie Mercury, & they were UNBELIEVABLE!! I LOVE & WORSHIP that band so goddamn much, & I will CONTINUE to LOVE Their Music FOREVER & EVER!!

Queen is the best

Been a Queen fan since I first heard Keep You Self Alive at age 12.. Had the great priviledge of seeing the with Freddie twice, Brian on his solo tour and the Queen with Paul Rogers. When I heard they were touring with AL, I was a little skeptical. Houwever, I decided to go and take my teenagers who are also Queen fans...wonder where they get that from? Queen was my concert in 1980 and thought what a great show to take my teenagers. I must admit, I was very skeptical because no one will ever replace Freddie. But I have to tell you, it was awsome. It really came full circle when the teens sang every lyic and said that was the best condert they will ever go to. It was awesome!!! It was very memorable.

Queen the magnificent

Saw them in London with Adam a couple of years ago. I've seen them with Freddie 2 times before. OK Freddie was unique a simply brilliant musician and artist - there can be only one. Adam, however didn't profess to be a Freddie - he does his own thing in a brilliantly camp sort of way. It made for a very special evening - the songs were superb the execution perfect and I'm certain Freddie would have approved. Good luck to Brian and Roger hope they can keep rocking for years to come. Long live the Queen!!

TICKETS: Tickets will be available via a general onsale beginning Friday, March 31st at 10AM local time at LiveNation.com .

MORE ON TICKETS:

Queen + Adam Lambert appreciate that it is an enormous task to try and stop scalpers from taking advantage of fans wanting to purchase tickets for the tour. In an effort to help minimize resale and keep ticket prices at face value for fans, the band are collaborating with the venues’ ticketing partners to restrict the ability to transfer tickets for The Rhapsody Tour so that they may only be transferred between fans at the original price.

Fans will still have protection against unforeseen circumstances. Those who purchase tickets and are no longer able to attend their show will be able to sell their tickets at the price they paid using a face value ticket exchange, including the Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange – which is free to use for buyers and sellers. More information on how the Ticketmaster Exchange works is available here .

Unfortunately, the states of NY, IL, and CO have laws in place which protect ticket scalpers – these laws prohibit artists from being able to restrict the transfer of their tickets to face value exchanges only. For shows in these states, Queen + Adam Lambert strongly encourage fans to only buy or sell tickets to one another on face value exchanges. More information can be found here , with more details to follow in the coming weeks.

Adam Lambert (L) and Brian May rock out during a concert.

There’s no need to feel “Under Pressure.”

Although Queen and Adam Lambert’s ‘Rhapsody Tour’ kicks off in just two weeks, it isn’t too late to pick up last-minute tickets to catch the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers live this year.

In fact, as of now, tickets are available for all 23 concerts on the nationwide run.

That includes back-to-back gigs at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday, Oct. 12 and Friday, Oct. 13 .

Want to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers bust out fresh versions of timeless classics like “We Will Rock You,” “We Are The Champions,” “You’re My Best Friend,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and, of course, “Bohemian Rhapsody” live?

If that’s the case, you won’t have to spend too much depending on which show you attend.

At the time of publication, we found some tickets going for as low as $71 before fees on Vivid Seats.

To be completely fair, that price is a bit of an outlier. Tickets for other shows start anywhere from $80 to $230 before fees.

Still, it’s hard to put a price tag on seeing one of rock’s most storied, bombastic and greatest rock groups live.

Is your finger still hovering over the “purchase” button?

We’ve got all the details and more to get you in the door for Queen’s 2023 ‘Rhapsody Tour’ below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Queen ‘Rhapsody Tour’ 2023 schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Queen band members

There may never have been a more high-profile lead singer replacement for a band than Adam Lambert assuming Freddie Mercury’s place back in 2011.

Who’s playing behind the 41-year-old former “American Idol” finalist though?

Well, original members drummer Roger Taylor and recently knighted guitarist Sir Brian May are still around 53 years after the band formed in 1970.

“These are kind of new glory days for us,” said May in an interview with  Variety .

They’ll be joined by Spike Edney on keyboards and rhythm guitar, Neil Fairclough will handle bass and Tyler Warren plays percussion and drums.

Edney, Fairclough and Warren are also providing backup vocals on the tour.

Queen set list

Not many bands have a three-disc Greatest Hits album.

Queen does though.

That being said, it’s not easy to distill a legendary catalog into a single concert — classics like “Flash” might not make the cut.

Based on past gigs, here’s what you can expect to hear on this tour based on their 2019 U.S. concert set lists.

01.) “Now I’m Here”

02.) “Seven Seas of Rhye” 03.) “Keep Yourself Alive”

04.) “Hammer to Fall”

05.) “Killer Queen”

06.) “Don’t Stop Me Now”

07.) “In the Lap of the Gods… Revisited”

08.) “Somebody to Love”

09.) “I’m in Love With My Car”

10.) “Bicycle Race”

11.) “Another One Bites the Dust”

12.) “I Want It All”

13.) “Love of My Life”

15.) “Doing All Right”

16.) “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”

17.) “Under Pressure”

18.) “Dragon Attack”

19.) “I Want to Break Free”

20.) “Who Wants to Live Forever”

21.) “Guitar Solo”

22.) “Tie Your Mother Down”

23.) “The Show Must Go On”

24.) “Fat Bottomed Girls”

25.) “Radio Ga Ga”

26.) “Bohemian Rhapsody”

27.) “We Will Rock You”

28.) “We Are the Champions”

Queen + Adam Lambert Unveil North American ‘Rhapsody’ Tour Dates: ‘These Are New Glory Days’

Queen Adam Lambert

“These are kind of new glory days for us,” said Queen guitarist and founding member Brian May, who was literally knighted by King Charles III earlier this month. “It’s nice to think that hopefully there will be the demand for that.”

But the guitarist, along with founding drummer Roger Taylor and singer Adam Lambert , was on the other side of the Atlantic in Thursday, in New York to announce the group’s 14-show North American leg of its “Rhapsody” tour — its first since 2019 — which runs from Oct. 4 through Nov. 11.

Popular on Variety

Shows on the overseas “Rhapsody” tour dates featured around 25 songs plus four encore numbers, and included the hits “Killer Queen,” “Fat Bottomed Girls, “Another One Bites the Dust, “We Will Rock You / We Are the Champions” and the song with more than 2 billion Spotify streams that lent its title to a film and this tour, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Queen promises some deeper cuts on this jaunt. Lambert says, “I’m not sure exactly what we’ll pull out for this one. Look, I would be happy just to show up and do what I was told if that was how it was. But I’ve been really fortunate to work with these two gentlemen who are very collaborative, and we get to all throw ideas in and work things out. I’m really grateful for that it makes me even more invested in it.

It’s been a decade since the group’s first live American concert, though the first time they performed was in 2009 when May and Taylor were guests on the eighth season of “Idol.” May remembers the first actual American concert in Las Vegas in 2013 for the iHeart Music Festival: “It felt so good both internally and from the [crowd] reaction that we thought, ‘My God, this is something we shouldn’t be letting go.’ I think we foresaw some kind of future, didn’t we? But not quite as big as it actually happened. It’s been colossal.”

Lambert agreed, “I don’t think I would have imagined that it would have been the gift that keeps on giving.”

The current Rhapsody tour features Queen + Adam Lambert’s regular band members, longtime keyboard player and musical director Spike Edney, bass guitarist Neil Fairclough and percussionist Tyler Warren. Founding bassist John Deacon left the band and effectively retired from music following Freddie Mercury’s 1991 death, and chose not to be present at Queen’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

Despite a 30-year-plus age difference between Lambert, 41, and May, 75 and Taylor, 73, the three have an easy camaraderie that’s evident both onstage and off. Lambert was only three when Queen’s iconic 1985 Live Aid performance rocked the world, but it was something he got to recreate at the Fire Fight fundraiser concert in Sydney, Australia in February 2020, a month before Covid shut down the world.

As a fan growing up, Lambert was familiar with Queen’s Live Aid footage. “But when it came time to first join the band on stage, I was like, ‘I have to know my stuff’ so I watched as much as I could. Besides Live Aid, one of my favorite things was Montreal concert where Freddie was running around in a pair of itty bitty white shorts and no shoes,” Lambert says. “I just I remember seeing that and going ‘This guy’s amazing.’ He was so free and ridiculous and just full of joy and I’ve been so inspired by that spirit. I try to approach shows with that same humor…”

“And shorts?” Taylor quipped.

“Not the shorts for me — Freddie had much better legs,” Lambert concluded.

A general on sale date for the Queen + Adam Lambert  U.S. tour is March 31, and in light of exorbitant ticket prices and “dynamic pricing,” the band stated in a release that “In an effort to help minimize resale and keep ticket prices at face value for fans, the band are collaborating with the venues’ ticketing partners to restrict the ability to transfer tickets for the Rhapsody tour so that they may only be transferred between fans at the original price.”

Hands down Queen is the most famous and iconic stadium rock bands the world has ever seen.

Well worth the wait

What Are Those Official Platinum Tickets?

If you’re seeing very expensive tickets that are not VIP, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are very expensive and are offered well over the standard ticket prices. They’re the kind of ticket pricing that is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) has priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down, and it usually goes up.

Artists can choose not to offer Official Platinum or limit the amount for charity purposes. The Cure , Pearl Jam and U2 have all been recognized as artists that don’t use these dynamic pricing tactics.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert very easy if you’re willing to shed the extra coin. They can be bought during a presale without a presale code (doesn’t always apply to Verified Fan). Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

If money is not an object, you should definitely bank on the convenience of getting Official Platinum tickets.

How to buy new edition tickets: dates and prices compared for 2024 concert tour.

When you buy through our links, Business Insider may earn an affiliate commission. Learn more

New Edition's Las Vegas residency is still going strong through 2024, though only a few tour dates remain. Luckily, the iconic music group has added additional tour dates and there are a few different ways to buy New Edition tickets.

New Edition began their residency at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas in February, with their stay ultimately being extended through November. After their original six shows, New Edition added two more legs for this year for a total of 10 more concert dates. Performing on their 2024 concert tour are group members Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe, who sing their classic hits like "Candy Girl," "Cool It Now," and "If It Isn't Love."

If you're still looking for how to buy tickets to New Edition's concerts, we've got you covered. Here's our breakdown of the R&B group's tour schedule, purchasing details, and ticket prices. You can also browse tickets and show specifics on StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

New Edition 2024 tour schedule

All six members of New Edition are returning for the remainder of the group's Las Vegas residency, which kicks off on July 3. It features seven shows from July 3 to July 13 in Las Vegas, with the third leg picking back up for three additional concert dates in October and November.

The group is also appearing at the Cincinnati Music Festival in July.

All concert times are listed in local time zones.

How to buy tickets for New Edition's 2024 concert tour

You can buy original tickets for New Edition's 2024 Las Vegas residency concert dates and music festival appearance on Ticketmaster. However, since the residency extension shows went on sale in March 2024, the quantity of remaining original tickets is limited.

Tickets can also be purchased from verified resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats . You may have better luck with the variety of seating options and availability on resale sites compared to the original tickets still left.

It's also important to note that New Edition's shows at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas only permit concertgoers ages 18 and up — so be sure to bring your ID to get into the group's residency performances.

How much are New Edition's tickets?

Given the high demand for the group's remaining Las Vegas residency shows, tickets to see New Edition in 2024 are relatively expensive. Furthermore, ticket prices vary depending on each show's concert date and demand. Resale ticket prices are comparable to or cheaper than original ticket costs.

The cheapest original ticket prices on Ticketmaster begin at $175 for New Edition's Las Vegas shows on October 30 and November 1. The least expensive seats are generally in the left or right mezzanine. However, most other dates with remaining original tickets are a bit more costly, with the cheapest seats coming in at over $200.

On the other hand, original one-day Saturday tickets for New Edition's Cincinnati Music Festival performance start at only $65. This ticket also lets you see artists like Kem, Stokley, En Vogue, and Coco Jones. Check out the full line-up here .

The least expensive resale tickets available to New Edition's Las Vegas residency on StubHub start at $165 for the group's July 5 performance. Vivid Seats offers similar prices for resale tickets, as the cheapest available Las Vegas show passes begin at $165. However, both sites' base fares are slightly more expensive than the $65 original tickets for the Cincinnati Music Festival, as StubHub's begin at $72 while Vivid Seats' start at $73.

Are Kentucky Derby tickets more expensive this year? Here's what we know

queen tour ticket cost

If it feels like it is more expensive to attend the Kentucky Derby every year, that's because it is.

As Churchill Downs Racetrack has added more suites and exclusive seating options, elevated its fan experience , and built out new physical features like the $200 million paddock, average ticket prices have steadily ticked upward for visitors, too.

Ahead of this year's 150th Run for the Roses, the average ticket price to go to the Derby is over $1,200, according to a study conducted by TicketSmarter Inc., a Kansas-based online ticket marketplace and ticket resale site.

"It is a bucket list item for many people even if they are not fans of horse racing," said Jeff Goodman, CEO of TicketSmarter. "And I think in particular, with some of the premium seating areas, that demand is reflected in the increased price points."

Here's what we know about ticket prices ahead of this year's Kentucky Derby.

Have Kentucky Derby ticket prices increased?

In 2014 the average Kentucky Derby ticket price was $378.67. This year, the average ticket price is $1,254.43 ahead of the first Saturday in May.

Here's a glimpse at average ticket prices — which includes ticket prices from the infield up to the most exclusive seating options Churchill Downs offers — over the last decade:

  • 2024: $1,254.43
  • 2023: $1,214.41
  • 2022: $1,092.96
  • 2021: $735.80
  • 2019: $696.57
  • 2018: $768.56
  • 2017: $497.82
  • 2016: $520.03
  • 2015: $364.95
  • 2014: $378.67

Note: 2020 data is not included due to the pandemic impacting ticket sales and attendance levels.

How much have Kentucky Derby ticket prices increased?

This year's pricing reflects a 231% increase in price compared to 10 years ago.

When compared to 2023, tickets for this year are about 3% or $40 more expensive on average, according to data from TicketSmarter.

Why have tickets for the Kentucky Derby increased so much post-COVID?

While ticket pricing data for 2020 was not reflected in the TicketSmarter study due to limited attendance allowance that would skew the data, Goodman notes the demand for tickets in a post-pandemic world has increased drastically.

With people looking to go out and experience live events more, prices are able to rise alongside this desire. The largest average price jump occurred in 2022, post-pandemic when the Derby allowed full capacity again.

"I think the price jump tells us that the demand for live events post-COVID has never been stronger," Goodman said. "It also shows that the price per ticket for live events has risen and in particular across high-profile events like the Kentucky Derby, Super Bowl, Masters, etc."

It's worth noting that tickets for the Kentucky Derby post-COVID for all areas where you purchase a seat are all-inclusive for food and beverages, which also contributes to higher ticket prices.

What are Kentucky Derby ticket prices now?

Here's a look at available tickets and prices according to Ticketmaster as of April 26:

  • Infield General Admission : $130-$144
  • Reserved seating : starting at $923 and selling upward of $10,781
  • Frontside Plaza Walkaround : $832

How much does it cost to go to the Kentucky Derby 2024? How to get tickets

I t’s “ The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sport s” and celebrating 150 years of history this weekend. When it comes to horse racing , there’s nothing quite like the Kentucky Derby . From prestige to the purse, to equine perfection and who could forget the unforgettable smell of the track. It’s a show like no other and we imagine that this year’s edition at Churchill Downs will be as exciting as any other.

What are ticket prices like for the 2023 Kentucky Derby?

So, you want to attend horse racing’s biggest event, but you’re not sure how to get tickets and more importantly how much they’re going to cost you. Well, you’ve got several options. Firstly you can head to the usual ticket sales and distribution companies for major events such as Ticketsmaster or Seatgeek, however, your best bet for packages - if that’s your thing - is probably going to be the official website of the Kentucky Derby itself. There you will find the packages which as you can imagine are extremely coveted for this event.

The build up to the Kentucky Derby starts with Opening Night and continues with Champions Day , Thurby (Thursday) and the Kentucky Oaks - all of it combining to make a special derby atmosphere. It’s as much about enjoying food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including the typical mint julep and live bluegrass bands as watching the races.

Indeed, those interested in attending can visit Derby Experiences to see a variety of packages combining Derby and Oaks seats with access to exclusive lounges, dining, hotels, transportation, accommodation and more. At the time of writing package prices ranged from roughly $1,270 to $7,370 per person.

Dining at Thurby Spires Terrace Suite comes in at $795 but that’s the most expensive option. The Jockey Club Suites is situated up beside the Twin Spires overlooking the homestretch of the racetrack. A four-hour chef’s table here will cost around $430.

What about seating options?

To be clear, there are a range of seating options available at Churchill Downs. If you’d like to sit in the Grandstand where you will find backless bleacher-style seating on the first and second levels, then you’re looking at just short of $600 per person. These seats offer a few of the finishing stretch. Additionally, there are also stadium-style seats available on the second floor which overlook the turf and dirt tracks. Via the derby’s resale site, these started at approximately $920 .

Of course, if you’d like to splash the cash you can also get one of the boxes which are located on the first and third levels and contain six seats. Naturally these are more expensive and will run you in the realm of $3,000. Lastly, we’ve got the infield reserved seats . These are situated in an uncovered bleacher - temporarily constructed - and offer a view of the final stretch along with access to betting windows, restrooms, the front side of the track and Paddock areas, as well as food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. These start at around $750 while general admission infield tickets, without a seat, will cost around $130 .

Are there cheap tickets for the Kentucky Derby?

Thankfully, yes. It’s not all about the swank and swing this weekend, for those who’d like to take in the action without paying out a downpayment on a house, you can actually purchase “general admission” tickets from the official website for just under $90. For that price you will be granted access to the infield, however, there will be no seating, access to the Paddock, nor front side seating areas. There’s no inclusive food or drinks either . For a slightly more economic option it might make sense to go with a two-day ticket which will run you approximately $135 .

And it’s important to book in advance, the longer you leave it, the greater the chance that the cheaper options will be snapped up. Three days before the Derby, some general admission tickets are available through resale from $325 .

Gates open for the 150th Kentucky Derby at 9 a.m. on Saturday 4 May with the first race at 10:30 a.m. and the Run for the Roses at 6:57 p.m. For the eighth consecutive year, a tiered point system in select races around the world will determine who takes part. The 20 horses with the most points are invited to Kentucky.

With the 150th Kentucky Derby upon us, the demand for tickets is intense to say the least. Here’s a look at ticket prices and moreover how you can get them

If you missed out on a place at this year’s Wimbledon Championships, then chin up. It’s time to rally your spirit with the news that the Queen’s Tennis Tournament is back in 2024.

General sale tickets are now incredibly limited, but there’s still a chance to score a spot on the court with the many hospitality packages on offer.

Taking place this June, the Queen’s Club Tournament will see singles and doubles players from around the world compete in order to win the Cinch Championships. The competition is a part of the ATP Tour 500 series, which includes 13 tournaments for male tennis players across the year.

The Queen’s Club Championships are often thought of as a warm-up for Wimbledon, owing to the real grass court and the huge array of talent that turns up.

Last year, Carlos Alcaraz was crowned winner of the singles title after a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Alex de Minaur, before going on to win Wimbledon just weeks later. Meanwhile, it was Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek who took home the doubles title.

More like this

The competition dates back to 1890, and over that time, no player has ever achieved more than our very own Sir Andy Murray who, as of 2019, has won five singles titles and one doubles title. Now he’s back again for more at this year’s competition, so stop making a racket and find out how you can get tickets to this historic tournament.
