Annual multi trip

Depending on the level of cover you select, you will be covered for multiple trips from the UK, with a maximum trip duration of:

Economy cover - 31 days Premier cover - 45 days (31 days if aged 66-75 years) PremierPlus cover - 45 days (31 days if aged 66-75 years) and can upgrade to 60 days if aged under 66 years.

Important: For an annual multi trip policy, the start date must be within 45 days of today's date. No cover at all is provided on your annual policy until the start date of the policy, so please choose today's date if you want cover as soon as possible.

This policy contains conditions relating to your health.

Please note: You will not be covered for any directly or indirectly related claims arising from the health of a travelling companion, someone you were going to stay with or a family member if at the time your policy was issued you were aware they have been receiving medical treatment or consultation at any medical facility for a medical condition in the last 12 months; they have been awaiting medical treatment or consultation at any medical facility or have been under investigation for a medical condition; or that a doctor had diagnosed them as having a terminal condition, or that their medical condition was likely to get worse in the next 12 months.

If you are answering the medical questions on behalf of someone else, you must make sure that you have their permission to do so and you have all of the required information to answer the medical questions fully and accurately. If you are not sure of (or do not know) any of the information you are giving us, the answers must be checked with the treating G.P.

Failure to accurately and fully declare all medical condition(s) for everyone to be insured on this policy will affect your cover and may result in your claim being declined.

Have you, or anyone to be insured on the policy, EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any type of cancer (even if now in remission)?

Have you, or anyone to be insured on the policy, EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any type of diabetes?

Has your doctor, or the doctor of anyone to be insured on the policy, altered the regular prescribed medication in the last 3 months?

Have you, or anyone to be insured on the policy, EVER been diagnosed or received treatment for any psychological conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders or mental instability?

In the last 2 years have you, or anyone insured under this policy, been treated for ANY medical condition; been asked to take regular prescribed medication or been seen by a specialist, or consultant or at a hospital for tests, diagnosis or treatment?

There is an on-going health warranty on your cover if you purchase an Annual Multi Trip policy.

If the health of you or anyone else insured on this policy changes after the date of purchase, you must call us to make sure that your cover is not affected.

Medical conditions that we cannot cover

We are unable to provide any cover for any medical condition for which you, or anyone else to be covered by this policy, have not received a diagnosis, are on a waiting list for or have knowledge of the need for surgery, treatment or investigation at a hospital, clinic or nursing home.

Cruise cover

Cover for cruise holidays is included as standard on single trip and annual multi trip policies. Extra cruise related cover can also be added during this quote process.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • You have your primary residence in and you are registered with a doctor in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
  • Your trip starts and ends in UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
  • You have not spent more than 6 months abroad during the 12 months before purchasing a policy or your trip was booked (whichever is later)
  • You are in your country of residence at the time of purchasing this policy. We will only cover you for the whole trip. Any trip that has begun when you purchase this insurance will not be covered
  • You are not travelling with the intention of receiving medical treatment
  • You are fit to travel on your trip and are not travelling against the advice of a doctor or where you would have been if you had sought their advice before commencing your trip
