Denver, Colorado

For 420  travelers, Denver, Colorado , or the “Mile High City,” has it all: tons of dispensaries, an excellent comedy scene, stunning natural beauty, and the world-famous Church of Cannabis .

The “green gold rush” has been good to Denver, so much so that there are all-inclusive, weed-themed vacation packages for purchase (more on that below). But if you prefer a more DIY approach to weed tourism, you can do your research and put together an equally buzzy itinerary.

We recommend getting a day pass for the Church of Cannabis. This gives you access to the church, participation in a meditation session, and a ticket to the laser light show.

Note : While recreational use is legal in Colorado , the consumption of marijuana in public spaces is currently illegal. Smoking weed is restricted to private residences and licensed marijuana businesses only.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

After Michigan legalized recreational marijuana  in 2020, Ann Arbor sprang into the lead with more recreational dispensaries than anywhere else in the state. It’s not a massive city (home to about 120,000 people), but somehow it’s managed to squeeze 24 dispensaries within the city limits. If you don’t have time to visit them all, we recommend Om of Medicine, Bloom City Club, and Pure Roots to get you started.

And it’s not just the number of dispensaries that make Ann Arbor an excellent place for a weed vacation, A2 (as the locals call it) also hosts one of the country’s oldest political cannabis rallies. Before state-wide legalization, Ann Arbor played a prominent role in decriminalization and legalization  efforts. That spirit lives on in the Ann Arbor Hash Bash , which features stalls, music, and hordes of happy, marijuana-friendly Michiganders  walking the streets.

San Diego, California

San Diego has had a lively marijuana scene since the 1960s, but following California’s legalization in 2016 , the industry has really boomed. Boasting numerous dispensaries, a sun-soaked climate, beach culture, whale watching, a zoo, and a vibrant arts scene, San Diego should be topping your list for a dream 420 travel destination.

As with Denver, curated tour options for cannabis lovers are available, like the West Coast Cannabis Tour, which offers the “Kegs-N-Kush” brewery and dispensary visits, bong glass-blowing experiences, and a grow-your-own demonstration .

Bud and Breakfast

Probably the most comprehensive 420-friendly accommodation resource, Bud and Breakfast  allows vacationers to connect with cannabis-friendly accommodations worldwide, with a range of high-end to affordable options. They do the research so that you end up in accommodations where getting high won’t get you in hot water.

Yes, HiBnB is exactly what it sounds like — Airbnb, but it’s cannabis friendly. Serving Canada and the U.S., HiBnb  helps connect tourists with cannabis-friendly hosts who can also assist with acquiring marijuana on arrival. This is particularly useful if you’re concerned about the legality of flying with cannabis  or edibles.

Ganja Vacations

Based in Jamaica, Ganja Vacations  helps ensure you have a fantastic experience and that your Caribbean trip is weed-themed from start to finish, connecting you with 420-friendly resorts, spas, local dispensaries, and events.

My 420 Tours

Operating in Colorado, My 420 Tours  can take care of all the details of your trip to Denver or Boulder. Their all-inclusive packages offer accommodation and a range of activities like sushi and joint rolling classes, cannabis cooking sessions, greenhouse visits, walking tours, and cannabis-infused massage.

  • Research state laws and  local laws . Though the legalization of recreational cannabis use is gaining traction, marijuana consumption laws vary from place to place. It can save you a lot of trouble down the line if you know exactly what is and isn’t tolerated in a specific jurisdiction.
  • Seek discounts and promotions . Many dispensaries offer huge deals and discounts. It’s good to do some research first to check out where you’re going to see if you can snag any local dispensary coupons.
  • Talk to the locals . Though internet searches and research can point you in the right direction, as with any vacation, it always pays to chat with someone local. Whether it’s workers at the dispensary or someone in a coffee shop, they might have some insider information about what to do in their city.
  • Empty those pockets!  Check your jacket, bag, and jeans before boarding the plane home.

Download Our Guide To Your Cannabis Rights

As with any vacation, success is all about achieving the perfect balance of good planning and spontaneity. We encourage thorough research before embarking on your first 420-friendly excursion, but make sure you leave room for following your nose — you might just like where that scent  leads you.

8 Cannabis-Friendly Destinations for Older Travelers

go travel 420

Illinois is the latest state to legalize recreational marijuana as more and more states begin to follow suit. Weed and CBD products are becoming commonplace across North America, as more people are turning to the plant for medicinal and relaxation purposes. In fact,  recently released surveys  show that marijuana use among seniors has almost doubled in the past three years. And as of January 2020, 14 U.S. states and territories, and all of Canada are 420-friendly destinations.

Before we dive into the best cannabis-friendly destinations for seniors like you, let’s get the obvious out of the way. What does 420 friendly mean? “420” refers to 4/20 or April 20, which is considered a day of celebration and smoking marijuana. While the actual term dates back to the 1970s in weed culture, today it describes general advocation of marijuana.

Whether you’re a seasoned user or you’re looking to dabble for the first time, we’ve provided some of the most weed-friendly cities in North America where you can legally experiment for yourself. In all of these destinations, it’s legal to smoke or consume marijuana, but be sure to research individual local laws to ensure you’re abiding by the rules.

1. Palm Springs, California

go travel 420

As of 2018, Palm Springs had a pot shop ratio of 2.11 licenses per 10,000 residents, making it one of the top cities in California in terms of weed retailers. This desert resort city has its fair share of marijuana-focused establishments, from dispensaries to weed tourism tours.

  • Indulge at  Spa La Quinta , where you can pamper yourself with the VYBES Calm & Balance CBD Massage. The treatment begins with a flight of flavored hemp water and the massage includes relaxing CBD oil.
  • Visit  420 Lounge . Here you can buy marijuana goods and enjoy them on-site. (You cannot bring in outside goodies). “Budtenders” are on hand to help with your purchase and then you are welcome to sit back and relax. Enjoy your time playing a board game, watching TV, or making some friends.
  • Rather learn about the cannabis scene without actually indulging in it? Join a  Cannabis Wellness Tour , which services the Palm Springs area. The tour visits a grow facility, weed manufacturer, and a dispensary, providing education about the plant and its uses.

Check out  hotels in Palm Springs .

2. Denver, Colorado

go travel 420

Colorado has long been at the forefront of marijuana legalization. In 2000, the stoner state legalized medical marijuana, and in 2012, it approved recreational use, becoming one of the first states to do so. As of 2018, Denver was home to more 169 recreational weed shops. Yes, that’s more shops than Starbucks in town!

  • Venture to Denver’s first licensed pot lounge,  The Coffee Joint . It is also the first Social Marijuana Consumption Club in the nation. Here, you can legally consume edibles, dab, and vape on-site, but you must bring in your own products. BYOC (bring your own cannabis), order a cup of tea, and get to know the locals.
  • Make your way to  The Nickel at Hotel Teatro  for its creative CBD-infused cocktails. Go for the Chill Lebowski, a white Russian with CBD oil, or try the Super Lemon Haze, a limoncello CBD concoction.
  • Take a  Loopr Tour . This company allows you to consume cannabis onboard their bus, as they take you on one of their many tours around Denver. Some tours dispensary hop, while others make stops at pizza parlors, ice cream shops, taco joints, and even grow houses.

Stick around for a while and stay at one of the best  Denver hotels .

3. Portland, Oregon

go travel 420

Portland is known the world over as an eco-friendly city, and now it is earning a reputation for a different kind of green. In 2018, Portland had 164 recreational weed dispensaries compared to only 90 liquor stores. From dab lounges to weed tours, this city has got it going on.

  • Coffee lovers can enjoy a stop at  Grön CBD Café and Tasting Room , where you can sample a wide variety of hemp-infused CBD products from skincare to gummies and chocolates, all while enjoying a handcrafted espresso drink with or without a CBD infusion.
  • Stay at  The Jupiter Hotel , the first accommodation in Oregon to offer a cannabis-friendly package. The package includes a “munchie kit,” and an “Everything But The Weed Kit,” which includes a vape pen, rolling paper, dispensary coupons, and more. Keep in mind, no marijuana products are included, and you are not permitted to smoke in your hotel room.
  • Spend an evening at  NW Cannabis Club , which features a dab bar and outdoor deck. Another BYOC establishment, it does not sell weed, but you can purchase snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The cannabis social club has a packed event calendar with performances, trivia, and more, so you’re sure to find plenty to keep busy.

Pick your favorite  Portland hotel .

4. Toronto, Ontario

go travel 420

Our neighbors to the north are ahead of us in that they legalized medical and recreational marijuana across the entire nation in 2018. Due to this recent legislation, Toronto has quickly become one of the best vacation spots for smokers of the green stuff.

  • Experience Canada’s first “high-end cannabis culture lounge,”  ByMinistry . The lounge serves healing herbs and plant-based food. It hopes to soon begin offering cooking classes that incorporate cannabis-infusion techniques. As Canadian legislation evolves, they hope to serve cannabis-infused food and beverages, too.
  • Practice your downward facing dog at  The House of Yoga , a cannabis-friendly yoga and massage studio. While recent changes in Canadian laws do not allow you to smoke during your yoga session, you are more than welcome to toke before you settle into child’s pose and find your Zen.

Browse through our selection of  Toronto hotels .

5. San Francisco, California

go travel 420

San Francisco was a hub for hippie culture and has long been regarded as a place for some of the best weed in California. Whether you’re looking to relive the ’70s or experience what’s new on the scene, San Fran is the place to go for 420 vibes.

  • Buy and enjoy on-site at  Barbary Coast . This dispensary sells all kinds of green goods, from flowers and extracts to edibles and beverages. And the best part? You can legally consume them at the indoor lounge or dab bar.
  • Spend a lazy day at  Moe Greens , where you can purchase marijuana and consume it on-site. This dispensary features four areas to enjoy your purchase, including the Playground, an outside area for vaping; the Vault, an indoor space, where concentrated extracts are consumed; and The High Roller, a space inside for rolling and smoking.
  • Find your Zen at  Earthbody , which offers cannabis-infused spa rituals. They offer ultra-relaxing massages that incorporate CBD oil. While you’ll leave feeling recharged and rejuvenated, the CBD oil won’t get you high.

6. Boston, Massachusetts

go travel 420

Move over, West Coast. The East Coast has its share of weed-friendly destinations, too. When it comes to stoner road trip ideas, zip over to Boston. In 2018, Massachusetts legalized recreational marijuana and Boston is becoming a prime spot to explore the bud.

  • Get to know the green scene when you join a  Boston Cannabis Tour . You can pick the private or group tour option and then venture to local dispensaries and cultivation facilities. You’re welcome to bring your own marijuana and your tour guide will let you know where and when you can legally use it.
  • Search for local 420-friendly activities in the areas such as Puff, Pass, and Paint , a painting class that services local paint studios. At these classes, you’re encouraged to take a toke and channel your inner Picasso.
  • Hop in the car and venture 35 miles northwest to nearby Tyngsboro, where you can stay at  Stonehedge Hotel & Spa , the state’s first 420 hotel. The accommodation offers a special 420 Experience package, but you’ll have to supply your own bud.

go travel 420

Vancouver is joining the ranks of Toronto with its green-friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for smoke lounges or places to purchase the flower for the first time, this Canadian region promises one of the best 420 vacations.

  • Have a smoke at  New Amsterdam Café . Touted as the North America’s Premiere Smoke-Friendly Café, it’s a funky little coffee shop with a smoking and vape room. Feel the munchies coming on? Order from their menu, which includes everything from samosas and pies to sundaes and sandwiches.
  • Get to know the history behind Marc Emery’s  Cannabis Culture Headquarters . Back when it was called HEMP BC, it was the first shop in Canada to sell marijuana seeds and bongs. Today, it’s your one-stop-shop for all things cannabis.
  • Vape with the locals at  Cannabis Culture Lounge  and pop next door for some goods at the  Cannabis Culture Store . These establishments are associated with Marc Emery’s headquarters.

Pick from a variety of  Vancouver hotels .

go travel 420

Michigan was the first midwestern state to make recreational marijuana legal as of December 2019. Though it’s still in its early days, you’ll begin seeing more 420-friendly establishments pop up around the state.

  • Get your hands on some greens at  Fire Station Wellness Center . With a special focus on medicinal purposes, the center sells marijuana-infused products and edibles.

Sustainable travel expert, adventure seeker

8670 Aljezur, Portugal

Travel doesn’t have to put a wrench in your favorite hobby . Recently, Canada made headlines by legalizing the recreational use of cannabis , full stop. But they’re not the first country to do so — nor are they the only weed-friendly destination in the world. From navigating the world of flying with weed to booking stays at weed-friendly hotels and attending raging 420 events , the legal consumption as we know it is changing quickly. If your next vacation requires a spliff (and some warmer weather than Canada has to offer), consider one of these smoker-friendly destinations for your next holiday getaway.

Weed-Friendly Countries in South America

Argentina: where medical marijuana is free.

go travel 420

South America is known for it’s beautiful scenery, blissfully warm weather, and….some hard-fought battles against drugs. So it’s surprising to find that most of the continent is relatively relaxed when it comes smoking dope.

In 2017, Argentina was one of the first in South America to legalize the use of medical cannabis, allowing patients with certain medical conditions to access cannabis-based treatments. With that legalization, Argentina also became the first country in the world to provide medical marijuana to patients for free .

In 2020, the government decriminalized the possession of small amounts of cannabis for personal use. However, recreational cannabis use remains illegal, and there are still restrictions on the cultivation and distribution of cannabis products. There is ongoing debate and advocacy for broader legalization of cannabis in Argentina, with many arguing that it could have significant economic benefits for the country.

Chile: the highest per-capita use of cannabis in Latin America

go travel 420

While weed is still illegal in Chile, private at-home consumption is allowed. Even more surprising, Chile has the highest per-capita use of cannabis in Latin America. While the cultivation, sale, and transportation of cannabis remain illegal, the country continues to consider the benefits and drawbacks of broader cannabis legalization, and it remains a progressive leader in the region for its forward-thinking approach to personal cannabis use.

Colombia: softies on the green stuff

go travel 420

Colombia has enough to worry about with other drugs, so they’re pretty soft on the green stuff. This South American paradise decriminalized up to 22g for personal use, legalized medical use and allows individuals to cultivate up to twenty plants for personal consumption, risk free. Sounds pretty good? Well, one country has one-upped it….

Uruguay: the first country to legalize medical and recreational cannabis nationwide

go travel 420

One tiny, Dorito-shaped country made headlines in 2014 as the first country to completely legalize the use, sale, and cultivation of marijuana for medical and recreational purposes nationwide. Uruguay’s not interested in attracting weed tourism however, so only actual residents of the country can purchase legally — foreigners aren’t allowed. Still, we’re pretty sure you can make a Uruguayan friend to share a joint with while you’re enjoying South American summer, or register to attend one of their famous 420 events .

Ecuador: decriminalized with discretion

go travel 420

Ecuador has recently made some exciting strides in its cannabis policies that have cannabis enthusiasts cheering. In 2019, the country decriminalized the personal use of cannabis, allowing individuals to possess up to 10 grams without facing criminal charges. Moreover, the government has authorized the production and commercialization of cannabis-based products, such as creams and oils, for medicinal purposes. This move has created a budding industry that has the potential to bring significant economic benefits to the country. Additionally, in 2020, Ecuador’s national assembly approved the legalization of industrial hemp cultivation, allowing farmers to grow this versatile crop for various purposes, including textiles, construction, and biofuels. These progressive cannabis policies demonstrate Ecuador’s commitment to embracing a more open and inclusive approach to cannabis use and the opportunities it presents.

Brazil: one to avoid completely

go travel 420

While weed is widely available in Brazil, it’s still a criminal charge to possess, cultivate, or sell the plants there. Although there’s plenty of cannabis users in Brazil, it’s certainly not risk-free for smokers.

Cannabis-Friendly Countries in Asia & Oceania

Sri lanka: practices traditional medicine.

go travel 420

In Sri Lanka , the use of cannabis has always been closely tied to spiritual celebrations and traditional medicine. In the 1980’s, the Ayurveda Act made sure that the use and and subsequent sale of marijuana for the purposes of celebrations and medicine were legally protected activities. Ayurvedic doctors still prescribe marijuana to treat certain ailments, and Ayurvedic pharmacies are permitted to sell the plant as part of medicinal mixtures. Cultivation is allowed as well, but only by the government and government-sanctioned growers.

India: famous for bhang, a type of weed “milkshake”

go travel 420

Sri Lanka’s neighbor to the north, India, has a similar leniency to marijuana. Although it’s technically illegal, it’s so prevalent that you can even purchase cannabis from government-owned shops in the form of bhang, a type of weed-milkshake. Some Indian states have legalized or decriminalized personal use ganja , making it even easier to get some on your holiday.

Laos: laid-back and easy-going cannabis culture

go travel 420

While most Asian countries are pretty restrictive — such as Indonesia, where simple possession can lead to a four-to-twelve year prison sentence — in Laos, weed is both culturally accepted and readily available.

In 2021, the country became the first in Southeast Asia to legalize the production and export of medical cannabis. This move has opened up a new avenue of potential revenue for the country while also providing new opportunities for medical research and treatment. The government also decriminalized the use of cannabis for personal use, recognizing the cultural significance of the plant in Laos. This decriminalization has led to a more relaxed approach to personal cannabis use and has allowed for more open discussions about the potential benefits of broader legalization.

Cambodia: home to “happy” dishes with THC-infused ingredients

go travel 420

Cambodia is blazing a trail towards a more fun and relaxed approach to cannabis. The country has a rich history of using cannabis for traditional medicine, and the government is committed to ensuring that this funky tradition can continue alongside modern medical cannabis treatments.

In 2020, the government gave the green light for the production and export of medical cannabis, giving a thumbs up to this groovy plant’s medicinal benefits. And just like in Laos, weed is both accepted and available — even if its not quite legal. Keep your eye out at restaurants especially, where any dish marked “happy” is most likely sporting some THC infused ingredients.

Australia: famous for the world’s coolest cannabis clubs

go travel 420

Down under, another country blessed with incredible scenery and even better beaches and was also kind enough to (mostly) decriminalize weed. While medicinal use is legal across Australia, personal use has only been decriminalized in a few states. Australia’s Northern Territory, South Australia, and the Australian Capital Territory all make the list, and in 2016, the first weed clubs and weed cafes began opening up to make distribution easier.

Cannabis Culture in Central America and The Caribbean

Jamaica: a long-time haven for smokers.

go travel 420

Thanks to one unique religion , Jamaica has long been a haven for smokers. That makes it surprising to find out that weed has only actually been decriminalized since 2015. The law allows for up to 2 ounces or up to five plants for personal use, and if you happen to be Rastafarian, you can use unlimited amounts for religious purposes, whenever you want.

Mexico: where smoking weed is a human right

go travel 420

Similarly in Mexico, you’ll find a de-facto legalization of weed. Possession of up to 5 grams was decriminalized in 2009, followed by the legalization of personal cultivation by a Supreme Court case in 2015, which stated that “prohibiting people from growing the drug for consumption was unconstitutional as it violated the human right to the free development of one’s personality.” Medicinal use was made legal in 2016, and many think that full legalization for recreational usage will be soon to follow.

Belize: growing your own plants here is a breeze

go travel 420

Belize is quickly becoming a cool, laid-back destination for cannabis enthusiasts. In 2021, the government announced plans to decriminalize the personal use of cannabis, recognizing the potential benefits of this herb for relaxation and medical purposes. This move has led to a more relaxed attitude towards cannabis use, and Belize is quickly becoming a favorite spot for those looking to kick back and enjoy the benefits of this groovy plant. As the country continues to explore the potential of this versatile plant, it’s clear that Belize is well on its way to becoming a must-visit destination for cannabis enthusiasts around the world.

Costa Rica: live “pura vida” with decriminalized recreational weed

go travel 420

The ever-popular holiday destination, Costa Rica, is an eco-friendly tropical paradise where friendly locals live the “Pura Vida.” Like Belize, they also decriminalized recreational smoking, meaning that although it is illegal, the police are only after traffickers, not your average users.

Appreciate the sentiment and I hate to be a Debbie Downer but if it’s illegal in a country I would definitely avoid partaking in that country. Even in Amsterdam if the authorities would like to cause you inconvenience you may end up in alternative accommodations which may or may not include a visit from the United States state department. A state department representative will be able to send messages to your family I will kindly remind you to obey the laws a foreign country

Traveling with Mary Jane presents questions and issues that regular travelers never think about, but well put together cannabis travel kits can solve a multitude of these problems.

Every marijuana user has experienced the phenomenon of “stoner sprawl.” I am talking about that cluttered mess of papers, pipes, lighters and other assorted paraphernalia that quickly overtakes any table top.

When you’re traveling you are going to especially want to keep that clutter under control. A discreet smoking kit can really help.

Depending on where your travels take you, you might also be concerned about telltale odors that alert others you are traveling with Mary Jane.

Well, worry no more.

Introducing Happy Kits Cannabis Travel Kits

cannabis travel kit for dabbers

The Happy Kit contains everything a cannabis smoker needs in one small, packable smell-proof cannabis travel kit.

Keep in mind this discreet smoking kit also makes a terrific gift for any cannabis lovers in your life.

Before I get into the Happy Kit for smokers, I just wanted to mention that the folks at Happy Kit also make a Happy Kit for dabbers.  I am going to do a separate video on that in the future.  But for now, know that everything you need to dab on the go is on the tiny 420 travel kit for dabbers pictured above.

For 10% off the Happy Kit or any of the other fine products at the Happy Kit website,  enter the coupon code HAPPYKIT10 at checkout .

The Happy Kit 420 Travel Kit for Smokers

Cannabis Travel Kits - Happy Kit

OK, the happy Kit for smokers has everything a cannabis smoker needs.  Except the cannabis itself and a lighter.

I suspect that is because of shipping regulations on lighters, but this 420 travel kit has plenty of room to add a lighter.  It also features a small zipper small-proof pouch to hold a small stash of cannabis.  So once you add these it has EVERYTHING you need.

In addition, you will find rolling papers, a doob tube (for your preroll), a metal poker to clean the pipes, a cigarette style metal one-hitter pipe, a small glass pipe, and a small grinder.

Perhaps the best thing about this weed travel kit is the case itself.  It is tough!  Really tough.  Nearly indestructible.  It also has a sealing zipper that keeps moisture out and odors in.

Whether you are out and about for the day or on a short trip, no more searching around for your smoking materials.  No more wondering where did you stash your pipe.  No more trying to improvise a poker or a grinder.

Just reach for your Happy Kit and get the party started!

The Happy Kit Concentrate Travel Kit for Dabbers

Believe it or not, everything you need to dab concentrates is in this one kittle kit.  This includes a torch lighter, containers for concentrates, a dab tool, and an amazing glass "nectar collector" and titanium nail.  This kit lets you dab on the go, quickly, easily, and discreetly.

Watch the video below for a full demo of the Happy Kit for Dabbers!

The Only Weed Travel Kit a Stoner Needs in 2021

Jul 16, 2021

A weed travel kit is the perfect solution for those who are looking for an organized place to store all their 420 needs and goodies.

Whether you admit it or not, everyone has experienced the common mistake of forgetting important cannabis items at home when they are on-the-go.

You take a look at your checklist — weed, a grinder , rolling papers, a lighter — and something is missing. Maybe you left it at home. Or maybe it got misplaced somewhere in your bag.

weed travel kit

Enter the DART marijuana travel kit . A 420 travel pouch that lets you carry around all the essentials you need at all times.

The best way to travel with weed is not with blunts and rolling papers. Use a one-hitter that is built for on-the-go travel. A 420 travel kit gives you everything you need to smoke anywhere at any time if the need calls.

The right stoner travel kit can also keep your essentials protected, discrete, fresh, and odor-free when you’re on the go (or stashing your gear at home).

That being said, not all weed travel kits are created equal. Let’s explore everything you need to know about finding the best smoker’s travel kit on the market today.

DART Stoner Travel Kit to Spark Your Journey

A stoner travel kit that is actually equipped for travel and on-the-go cannabis smoking is hard to find these days.

There is nothing efficient about a glass pipe where you must grind your weed , load the pipe by hand, light it, and bang out the ash.

The DART’s unique marijuana travel kit is equipped with a smell proof canister with grounded weed, and a sleek and stealthy weed pipe with beveled edges.

So it doesn't matter where you are, you simply just pop the top on your cannabis jar, use the beveled edges to scoop your cannabis, smoke, and press the button to eject your ash. You can smoke your weed in under 60 seconds!

stoner travel kit

Whether you’re new to the game or you’ve been doing this for years, a premium marijuana travel kit like the DARTS is a must-have for any daily smoker. A discreet travel pouch lets you bring everything with you on the go, so you never find yourself without the smoking essentials you need.

There are a lot of different smoker travel kits on the market these days, but not all will have everything you need. Others might not be portable or fully smell-proof making it hard to carry around discreetly.

‌ The best travel stash should most importantly use the best cannabis containers for weed (smell proof). The DART’s weed travel kit includes all the following essential items:

  • Grinder. No matter how you enjoy your weed, you’ll need a grinder to pack your favorite strains. A grinder lets you create freshly ground, potent weed that you can use whenever you want.
  • One-Hitter‌. A one-hitter pipe is a must-have for anyone looking for something portable and convenient. It’s small, quick, and easily preserves your stash. Avoid rolling papers.
  • Canister.  You’ll need an airtight, durable container to keep your flower fresh. It should also be compact and odor-proof so it doesn't draw unwanted attention.
  • Weed Storage Bag: With your cannabis in a smell proof cannister you then want to place all your accessories in a weed storage bag for extra odor control and easy accessibility.

To simplify your smoking routine, let's break down some of the benefits of the best all-in-one cannabis kit.

DART Weed Travel Kit — The Perfect Premium Pouch

If you’re like most weed enthusiasts, your weed essentials are some of the first things you pack in the morning (after your keys and wallet).

But, instead of throwing all your cannabis smoking accessories into the bottom of your backpack or stuffing them in a pocket, a stoner travel kit offers a place to organize your top-quality smoking essentials.

The DART's weed travel case is one of the few great options on the market. To help you keep your weed accessories in order, the smell-proof pouch includes a high-end grinder, your choice of one of three odorless canisters to store your flower, and the classic black DART one-hitter pipe for smoking on the go.

You shouldn't need to stress so much about having all your weed accessories on hand just to enjoy an on-the-go high.

Whether you’re heading to the beach or hanging out with friends after work, this weed travel kit keeps everything you'll need in one place so you don't need to worry about it.

Marijuana Travel Kit: An All in One Solution For Every Occasion

One of the best (and most underrated) benefits of a marijuana travel kit is how discreet it can be. While it’s convenient to carry everything with you at all times, it’s also important to be subtle about your smoking habits.

A weed travel kit makes the ultimate purchase for any avid stoner, letting you carry your stash with you in a sleek, portable, and completely discreet weed storage bag that will look like any other bag.

The DART's premium pouch is made of activated charcoal, making it both smell-proof and stylish. Anyone who spots it will think of it as just another personal item.

You can choose a larger canister size depending on how much flower you expect to want when you're out, and the grinder ensures you're always ready to load your weed pipe for fast and efficient smoking.

The DART one-hitter pipe itself is also compact, making it great for subtlety. All together, the starter kit will make sure you can always enjoy a high without drawing attention while you’re out.

The Best Way to Travel With Weed

The weed travel kit isn’t just functional and smell-proof. It’s also a sleek and stylish way to carry all your essential weed gear with you.

Protecting your stash and yourself is important when traveling with cannabis. Using DART’s weed travel kit is hands down the best way to travel with weed in 2021.

As an explorer you need to make sure your stash is odor-proof and organized efficiently.

Not only that, DART's smoker’s travel kit comprises some of the most efficient smoking tools for travelers.

If you are traveling with cannabis you will need a weed pipe that is stealth and smokes fast on-the-go. Check!

You will need a storage container for your weed that blends in and is air tight and smell-proof. Check!

Last but not least you will need a cannabis pouch that looks non-discrete to carry all these items and your lighter and grinder. Check!

Using DART’s 420 travel kit is the most optimized way of traveling with marijuana.

You can customize your weed accessories in a range of colorful and sophisticated options. The premium canister, lighter, and DART are available in gold , rose gold , or silver . Make a statement with one of these classy, timeless sets that come in your choice of a smell-proof pouch or a regular carry case.

Traveling With Cannabis

There are many reasons you may be traveling with weed in 2021. More and more states are legalizing cannabis and sometimes while it may not be legal to travel across state lines, we understand it’s not practical to throw your marijuana out at any state line only to repurchase at the nearest dispensary.

If you are traveling with marijuana it’s best to research what state you are going through and also take note whether you will be travelling by train, car, or airplane.

Traveling With Weed On a Airplane

Traveling with cannabis by airplane is actually a federal crime. So while we don’t recommend it we do understand sometimes you may still have your reasons and are sticking to it. The first thing to know is never to fly with large amounts of cannabis. When traveling with weed on an airplane you may want to try using THC vapes (also known as carts) or edibles. This is the safest option.

The DART weed travel kit is a great option but we recommend you leave the grinder at home and only travel with the canister and pipe in your pouch. Only use a weed travel kit if you are travelling to a state where marijuana is legal.

Traveling with Cannabis by Car

Traveling with weed by automobile you are subject to much less risk. Use the DART stoner travel kit and you will be good to go. Place the smell proof canister on your keychain and it will blend right in. Place the pouch with your extra stash and grinder in the trunk hidden with all your other luggage and you can keep the weed pipe in a discreet location like your purse or glove department.

Just be careful when you cross state lines into a state where cannabis is illegal. Using a smokers travel kit and leaving the items well hidden should be enough to get you to where you are going with no issues. If you are hotboxing the car and cranking the music, you are asking for legal issues.

Traveling with Marijuana by Bus or Train

If you are traveling with cannabis by bus or train you want to first see if you are crossing through states where cannabis is illegal. We do not recommend doing this so proceed at your own risk.

Buses and a train are loaded with people and there is no screening for marijuana. So using a weed travel kit such as The DART’s 420 travel stash you will be in great hands. Just take your smoker travel kit and hide it in the depths of your luggage.

Once you get to where you are going you should wait until you get to the destination before smoking.

Bottom Line‌

Smoking weed should be an act of relaxation, not an exercise in scrambling through your pockets or the bottom of your bag to find all your tools — just to realize you left your grinder at home.

If you are an avid explorer and you are traveling with cannabis you want to make sure you do it with the most efficient equipment and caution. A stoner travel kit is essential along with a discreet travel pouch and a smell proof cannabis container.

The DART weed travel kit is the perfect accessory for any daily smoker who wants to organize their stash. More than just style, subtlety, and convenience, it offers some peace of mind.

Traveling with weed doesn’t have to be daunting if you have the perfect marijuana travel kit.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore set to issue 175,000 pardons for marijuana convictions

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has signed an executive order to issue more than 175,000 pardons for misdemeanor marijuana convictions

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Maryland Gov. Wes Moore ordered more than 175,000 pardons for marijuana convictions on Monday, saying the “most sweeping state-level pardon in any state” will help reverse harms from the past caused by the war on drugs.

During a news conference, Moore said the executive order will affect “tens of thousands of Marylanders" convicted of misdemeanors. Some may have had more than one conviction pardoned through the process.

“We are taking actions that are intentional, that are sweeping and unapologetic, and this is the largest such action in our nation's history,” Moore, a Democrat, said.

Though the pardons will not result in anyone being released from incarceration — and nor will they result in having past convictions automatically expunged from a person's background check — advocates praised the move as a way of removing barriers to housing, employment, or educational opportunities based on convictions for conduct that is no longer illegal.

Heather Warnken, executive director of the University of Baltimore School of Law Center for Criminal Justice Reform. described the pardons as “a win for thousands of Marylanders getting a fresh start to pursue education, employment, and other forms of economic opportunity without the stain of a criminal conviction.”

Recreational cannabis was legalized in Maryland in 2023 after voters approved a constitutional amendment in 2022 with 67% of the vote. Maryland decriminalized possession of personal use amounts of cannabis on Jan. 1, 2023. Now, 24 states and the District of Columbia have legalized recreational cannabis .

“This is about changing how both government and society view those who have been walled off from opportunity because of broken and uneven policies,” Moore said.

Moore said “legalization does not turn back the clock on decades of harm that was caused by this war on drugs."

He continued: "It doesn’t erase the fact that Black Marylanders were three times more likely to be arrested for cannabis than white Marylanders before legalization. It doesn’t erase the fact that having a conviction on your record means a harder time with everything, everything, from housing, to employment to education.”

Shiloh Jordan, who lost his job on his second day at work after a minor cannabis conviction appeared in a background check by his employer, attended the news conference. Moore noted that even though Jordan went back to college and now works for the Center for Urban Families in Baltimore, he still had the cannabis conviction on his record.

“Well today, that ends," Moore said.

Jordan said he was thankful that his experience could be used as a testimony “and offer a lot of change for the people of Maryland.”

“It means a lot, because I know a lot of people that have been convicted for petty cannabis charges, and it really affected their whole way of life and their whole way of thinking,” Jordan said.

Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown, who attended the news conference, said the action was “long overdue.”

“As a nation, we have taken far too long to correct the injustices of a system that is supposed to be just for all.”

The attorney general also noted the magnitude of the governor’s actions, and he said it was about equity.

“It’s about racial justice. While the order applies to all who meet its criteria the impact is a triumphant victory for African Americans and other Marylanders of color who were disproportionately arrested, convicted and sentenced for actions yesterday that are lawful today.”

More than 150,000 misdemeanor convictions for simple possession of cannabis will be affected by the order, which also will cover more than 18,000 misdemeanor convictions for use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, according to a summary by the governor’s office.

Now that Moore has ordered the pardons, the Maryland Judiciary will ensure each individual electronic docket is updated with an entry indicating the conviction has been pardoned by the governor, a process that should take about two weeks, the governor's office said.

The governor's order also directs the state corrections department to develop a process to indicate a pardon in an individual’s criminal record, a process expected to take about 10 months to complete.

The pardons absolve people from the guilt of a criminal offense, and individuals do not need to take any action to receive the pardon.

A pardon is different from an expungement. Although the Judiciary will make a note on the record that the offense has been pardoned, it will still show on the record. Expungement is a process that lets a person ask the court to remove certain kinds of court and police records from public view.

Celtics travel to Miami after winning 18th NBA championship

  • New title? New gear. Fans stock up on C’s championship merch
  • Congratulations pour in from near and far after Celtics win NBA championship
  • Ecstatic Celtics fans flood streets of Boston to celebrate championship win

BEDFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - The Celtics traveled to Miami Tuesday to continue celebrations after they won their 18th NBA Championship with a Game 5 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.

The Celtics hoisted the Larry O’Brien Trophy late Monday night after the final buzzer sounded on their 106-88 win. Come Tuesday, players and staff were seen boarding a plane at Hanscom Field in Bedford.

Among them, Jaylen Brown was spotted posing for pictures with the trophy. Jayson Tatum was seen carrying the trophy onto the plane.

Speaking with 7NEWS, coach Joe Mazzulla thanked fans and people within the Celtics organization who helped the team on its long path to its latest championship.

“It means a lot that we were able to do something together and build great relationships in our organization,” Mazzulla said.

“[There is] nothing better than being able to represent the city,” he continued.

Asked what it feels like to win, Mazzulla responded — “It’s fun. It’s great.”

Derrick White said he was “feeling good” when asked by 7’s Steve Cooper.

Asked what it feels like to be an NBA champion, he responded — “It feels unreal. Amazing.”

Headed south, for the time being, the Celtics will be back in Boston by Friday for their rolling rally duck boat parade.

The parade will step off at 11 a.m. in front of TD Garden on Causeway Street. It will then snake its way through the city before ending on Boylston Street by the Hynes Convention Center.

The parade will be the first such championship celebration in Boston since 2019 after the Patriots won the Super Bowl.

It will be the first Celtics parade in 16 years since Boston’s 2008 NBA Finals win over the LA Lakers.

Why Is Biden Going to Europe Twice in a Week?

President Biden made two back-to-back round trips to Europe, separated by about 60 hours on the ground at home.

David E. Sanger has covered five presidencies.

Air Force One is plenty comfortable if you are its most privileged frequent flier, with a comfortable bedroom and a spacious office.

Still, most American presidents will try to avoid making two back-to-back round trips to Europe, separated by about 60 hours on the ground at home. Yet that is what President Biden is pulling off this week.

“The president’s schedule is jam-packed. It is,” said Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary. “There is a lot to be done on behalf of the American people.”

Mr. Biden left the United States for D-Day celebrations in France last Wednesday, June 5; stayed the weekend for a state dinner in Paris; and returned to his home in Delaware late Sunday. He left Washington again early Wednesday, June 12, to fly to the southeast coast of Italy for the annual gathering the Group of 7, the traditional summit of leaders of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan.

When Mr. Biden looks back at those two round trips — roughly a day and a half of flying, all told — he may remember only what happened in between: the conviction of his only living son, Hunter Biden, on charges of lying to obtain a gun permit.

But the two round trips raise the question: Why didn’t he just stay in Europe for a couple days, play a round of golf, visit some American troops, maybe huddle with a foreign leader or two? He is, after all, 81, and some of his aides who are half his age were complaining about lost sleep cycles.

The White House’s explanation for four trans-Atlantic crossings in nine days was simply that Mr. Biden had commitments in Washington. But by presidential standards, his public schedule looked light: a lunch with Vice President Kamala Harris, a Juneteenth concert and a speech to a gun-safety group.

Hunter Biden’s trial also loomed over the planning, though it was impossible to know when these trips were planned that the case would go to the jury and a verdict would be rendered in the three days between the D-Day trip and the G7 meeting. As it turned out, Mr. Biden shuttled back to Delaware on Tuesday afternoon to be with his son before taking off again in the morning.

But privately, some aides said there were election-year optics to be considered. There was no urgent reason to stay in Europe, and a few down days “might not look right,” one of Mr. Biden’s advisers conceded, though the aide quickly added that Mr. Biden never really took a down day. In any case, no one wanted images of the president on what his political opponents might cast as a European holiday, at least while he is running for re-election. A long weekend in Rehoboth, the Delaware town where he and his wife, Jill, have a beach house, might be one thing; a few days in France or Italy have an entirely different look.

The presidency, of course, is the ultimate work-from-anywhere job. There are instant communications (a White House van, bristling with antennas, travels in every motorcade) and a staff of hundreds ready to cater to every contingency, whether that involves sending off a thank-you note or launching a retaliatory nuclear strike.

The intolerance for seeing presidents abroad, save for work, has a long history. Franklin D. Roosevelt loved to camp at Campobello Island, in Canada, though as president he kept the visits brief. When Harry S. Truman went to Potsdam, Germany, to negotiate with Joseph Stalin and Winston Churchill about what post-World War II Europe would look like, he stayed for more than two weeks. There were days off from the negotiations, but not for long, and the nearest big city, Berlin, was a bombed wreck. And there was a reminder of the risks of being out of town: Churchill’s party lost to Labour during the conference, and he got booted out of office while it was still going on.

Inside the Biden Administration

Here’s the latest news and analysis from washington..

Immigration: President Biden announced sweeping new protections  for undocumented immigrants who are married to U.S. citizens. The new policy  will give some 500,000 people a pathway to citizenship.

Social Media Warning Labels: Dr. Vivek Murthy, the U.S. surgeon general, said he would urge Congress to require a warning label on social media platforms  advising parents that using the platforms might damage adolescents’ mental health.

Title IX Rules: A federal judge blocked the Biden administration’s new Title IX regulations in six more states  as Republicans and conservative groups try to overturn a policy that expanded protections for L.G.B.T.Q. students.

Merrick Garland: The Justice Department said it would not prosecute the attorney general for not complying with a congressional subpoena  for recordings of Biden’s interview by a special counsel. The decision was expected because the president had invoked executive privilege.

Questionable Titanium: The F.A.A. is investigating how titanium that was sold using fake documentation  got into recently manufactured Boeing and Airbus jets.
