Staying at the mistley thorn, very comfortable rooms and self contained mews cottages.
The Mistley Thorn has 11 Rooms and 2 Mews Cottages each individually designed with uncluttered elegance. There is a mixture of bedrooms, eight in the body of the hotel, three over our shop and two self-contained mews cottages to the rear of the main building. Our rooms are one of a kind, and as such the layout of the room and location within the hotel and area will differ. All rooms are individually furnished with a mix of old and new, original artwork, flat screen televisions, coffee and tea making facilities, not to mention sparkling bathrooms with Ren products and fluffy bathrobes.

The roast beef was beautiful with plenty of delicious sides, the starters were huge and the desserts were great too, especially the limoncello gelato that came on the side of the lemon tart. The children's menu is fantastic value at £7.50 for two courses and the house wine is really reasonable too.
