Pearl jam announces 2023 tour merch details.

Yesterday, Pearl Jam announced the details about merch stands for their upcoming tour and pictures of the items that will be for sale.  Looks like a "Ten" themed basketball and duffle bag will be making an appearance as well as some older designs like the scarecrow shirt (previously sold on a sticker) and the logo from their Vault Bootleg series.

Pearl Jam will hit the road in August and September performing nine shows across St. Paul, Chicago, Indianapolis, Fort Worth and Austin.

2020 officially marked 30 years of Pearl Jam performing live. Eleven studio albums, hundreds of unique live performances and official live concert bootleg releases later, the band continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful -- with over 85 million albums sold worldwide. Pearl Jam was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

Pearl Jam’s latest album Gigaton was released in March 2020. Featuring fan favorites “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” “Superblood Wolfmoon,” and “Quick Escape” the album debuted #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums, and Billboard Vinyl Albums Chart. In addition it hit Top 5 on Billboard 200 Album Chart, #2 Billboard Top Album Sales Chart and to date has reached over 200 million global streams. The album was critically acclaimed with Entertainment Weekly raving, “It’s a sturdy rock album from five guys who know what they’re doing, took time till they had something to say, are interpolating new influences and sound stoked to be back together in a room.”

Pearl Jam Pre-Party

Join us before the show at the Pearl Jam pre-party outdoors at Xcel Energy Center. Party starts at 5 p.m. with music, official tour merchandise, beverages for purchase and more. Come celebrate as Pearl Jam kick off their tour in Saint Paul!

Merchandise Locations

Official tour merchandise will be available at sections 101, 104, 110, 113, 119, C36 and 215.

Merchandise will also be available at the trailer located outside of Gate 1 Thursday-Saturday. 

Merchandise trailer hours: Thursday:   noon - 11:30 p.m. Friday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday: noon - 11:30 p.m.

For enhanced safety and speed of entry, we encourage guests not to bring bags of any kind. Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed. Clutch, wristlet and wallets sized 4" x 6" x 1.5" or smaller are allowed and subject to inspection. Medical bags and diaper bags are allowed, however, they are required to pass through x-ray screening prior to entry. Guests with medical and diaper bags must enter the arena at Gate 1. Please allow extra time for entry.

GA Floor Tickets

Guests with GA floor tickets need to enter the arena via Gate 1.

The Reserve , our upscale lounge on the Bremer Bank Suite Level, boasts an eclectic, chef-driven menu and an array of cocktail options. This lounge is open to all guests with suite level tickets or reservations.  Make a reservation .

The  Michelob Golden Light Taphouse  is   located at section 120 (gate 4) and opens at 6:00 p.m. The sports-themed restaurant features signature specialty wings, sandwiches and sharables, plus a full service bar.

Mobile Entry

Pearl Jam continues to try to protect fans’ access to fairly priced tickets by providing the majority of tickets to Ten Club members, making tickets non-transferable where permitted, and by selling PJ Premium tickets. Tickets on this tour will continue to be non-transferable in all states except Illinois where it is prohibited by law.

Watch: Pearl Jam Kick-Off World Tour with Thrilling Vancouver Series

On May 4 and 6, Pearl Jam kicked off its sprawling world tour with a dazzling pair of appearances at Vancouver, British Columbia’s Rogers Arena. To celebrate the release of its 12th studio album Dark Matter , which was released to widespread acclaim on April 19, the storied three-decade grunge vanguard presented two sets that both honored its history and blazed bold new pathways to the future of its sound. Pairing live debuts of hot new entries with stone-cold classics and beloved covers, the band forecasted a tour for the ages, which will continue to floor fans in 25 cities through November.

During an exclusive preview performance of the band’s latest album at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, iconic frontman Eddie Vedder said of Dark Matter , “No hyperbole, I think this is our best work.” At the outset of the Dark Matter World Tour, the band proved just this, tearing down the house with live debuts of new essentials like “Running,”, “React, Respond,” “Wreckage” and “Dark Matter” that have swept across the world through tremendous radio coverage and critical exaltation in the past few weeks. The undeniable force of these fresh cuts booms in a video of the band’s inaugural staging of the title track, captured in a fan recorded video below. 

Beyond its new material, Pearl Jam treated Canadian fans to signatures like “Even Flow,” “Black,” “Alive” and “Got To Give” which–coupled with jaw-dropping stage production–showed the band at peak performance after 34 years of vaunted collaboration. Beyond its traditional cannon, the group thrilled fans everywhere with a long-awaited bust-out of “Leatherman,” a beloved deep-cut that was last staged in 2016. For further fan service, the group took requests on night one and Vedder shared a heartfelt message to the audience from backstage during the set break. A second clip shares a stirring rendition of “Alive,” which showed the audience roaring along to the chart-topping ballad of broken relationships. 

The excitement continued into expansive encores for the two-and-a-half-hour shows, which showed some of band’s most beloved cover treatments, including Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World,” The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” and Warren Zevon’s “Keep Me in Your Heart.” After returning to the stage on night one, Vedder shared that the guitar he held was a gift from the late, great Tom Petty, kicking off a moving tribute to the country star with “I Won’t Back Down.”

Pearl Jam will return to the stage on Friday, May 10, with a show at Portland, Ore.’s Moda Center, then continue into a West Coast leg, followed by a European run. For tickets and more information on the band’s world tour, visit https://pearljam.com/home .

Pearl Jam Launches 2024 Tour: Set List, Video

Pearl Jam kicked off their 2024 global tour on Saturday night in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The evening’s set list included classics like “Daughter,” “Alive” and “Yellow Ledbetter,” plus selections from the band’s recently released album, Dark Matter . There was also a jarring moment in which guitarist Mike McCready fell off the stage during his solo in “Porch,” though he appeared to be alright.

Dark Matter was produced by Andrew Watt, who Eddie Vedder recently described as the “perfect producer” for Pearl Jam.

“His style is he has got a guitar on the whole time you’re playing with him, he’s playing with you, he’s playing with the band. We’ve never done anything like that before,” Vedder explained to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “He actually can fit in a way that it sounds right, and that’s just how he produces. He plays along. He’s got to feel the music in the way that the band does.”

Where Does Pearl Jam Head Next?

Pearl Jam will play a second show at the same venue in Vancouver, before traveling south to the U.S. They’ll perform in cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Seattle and then take the tour overseas to the U.K., Germany, Spain and Portugal. The band will return to the States in August, hitting east coast locations like Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia and more, and finally fly to New Zealand and Australia for September shows.

Pearl Jam kicked off their 2024 tour in Vancouver on Saturday night with a rousing 25-song performance.

The show kicked off with “Wash” from their Lost Dogs compilation and was followed by performances of “Low Light,” “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town,” and “Given to Fly.” From there, Pearl Jam showcased material from their new album, Dark Matter , with “Scared of Fear,” “React, Respond,” “Wreckage,” and “Dark Matter,” and then dusted off “Leatherman” at the request of drummer Matt Cameron for the first time in eight years.

The second half of Pearl Jam’s set consisted of songs like “Corduroy,” “Red Mosquito,” a cover of Mother Love Bone’s “Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns,” and “Porch,” with the encore featuring performances of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down,” “Black,” “Do the Evolution,” “Something Special,” “Alive,” Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World,” “Yellow Ledbetter,” and “Setting Sun.”

Pearl Jam will return to the stage in Vancouver for another show on Monday, May 6th, before crossing the border into the US for dates in Portland, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and more. The band will be on the road — both in North America and Europe — through the end of September. Tickets to their upcoming shows are available here .

Google adds 'Web' search filter for showing old-school text links as AI rolls out

As Google revamps itself for the AI era, offering AI overviews within its search results, the company is introducing a new way to filter for just text-based links. According to Google, the new "Web" filter will appear either at the top of the results page or as part of the "More" option, depending on your query. The launch is an admission that sometimes people will want to just surface text-based links to web pages -- the classic blue links that today are often of secondary importance as Google either answers the question in its informational Knowledge Panels or, now, through AI experiments.

Blue Origin to resume crewed New Shepard launches on May 19

Pearl Jam Radio Airs World Premiere of Official Bootlegs from Dark Matter World Tour

From May through November, hear a new bootleg every four days.

As Pearl Jam heads out on a world tour in support of their new “Dark Matter” album — hitting nine countries and 25 cities, including their first hometown performance in six years at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena — fans can hear the world premiere of the tour’s official bootlegs on Pearl Jam Radio (Ch. 22) .

From May through November, tune in to hear a new bootleg every four days at 6pm ET, hours before they go on sale at PearlJam.com .

The Dark Matter World Tour kicks off at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, and covers much of North America, including shows at Wrigley Field, Madison Square Garden, and Fenway Park. It continues with performances in the UK and Europe, including Pearl Jam’s first performance at London’s brand new, state-of-the-art Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, followed by the group’s long-awaited 10-year return to New Zealand and Australia.
