I told them when I saw the delay, and they said they would find a solution.

It was about $1,500 cheaper but I made one layover 12 hours and the other 8 hours. When you're crossing an ocean, it's a long time to worry.

IF the flights run on time and you do pre-authorisation for everything entry related (ie preregister vaccine proof and the Arrival card) then you should be in the Arrivals Hall around 30mins after arrival. So thats 1hr 40min left.

Condor is Thomas Cook's German subsidiary. They probably code share with Volaris to offer a one stop from Frankfurt to MEX via CUN, but they can also ticket you onto Thomas Cook. As you can see they do book scheduled flights, even if most of the passengers on CUN-LON are likely package holiday makers. Good job finding that. Have a great trip.
