A Capella Group Pentatonix Announce 2023 Australian Tour

Texan five-piece a capella group Pentatonix   (aka PTX) have announced a five date Australian arena tour in support of their latest album of original music, 2021’s The Lucky Ones.  Regarded as the world’s most famous a capella group, Pentatonix are playing shows in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in March 2023.

The group have won three Grammy Awards and racked up 10 million album sales as well as billions of streams over the last decade. With possibly one of the worst pun band names since  The Beatles , Pentatonix have released six Christmas-themed albums and one Christmas EP, the latter titled  PTXmas . Their latest album is  Holidays Around the World .

Pentatonix coming to Australia in March 2023

Pentatonix are also releasing a TV movie via Disney+ titled  Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays . The premise sees the group get accidentally locked in an enchanted mailroom by their manager, before magically traversing the globe in search of inspiration for their new album.

The group have previously collaborated with  Dolly Parton ,  Miley Cyrus  and  Kelly Clarkson . Their Parton collaboration – a cover of the country legend’s ‘Jolene’ – won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2017. It appeared on the group’s album  PTX, Vol. IV: Classics , which also featured covers of Queen, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, A-ha, and ‘Over the Rainbow’ from  The Wizard of Oz .

Pentatonix announce Australian headline tour for 2023

Marking the a cappella group’s first shows in the country since 2020

Pentatonix have announced a national headline tour of Australia slated for next year.

The Australian leg of the a cappella group’s world tour will run across five dates in March 2023. The pop quintet will kick off the run of shows at Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre on Saturday, March 18, before an additional performance at the HFB Stadium in Perth the following Monday (March 20).

Pentatonix will next take to Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 22, before wrapping up the Australian tour with shows at Sydney’s Aware Super Theatre on March 25 and Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on March 26. Tickets for the tour’s Australian leg will be available this Friday (November 18).

The vocal group’s upcoming run of Australian shows forms part of their broader world tour, which will also see them perform in Asia in early March, as well as the UK and Europe throughout May. It will mark the band’s first Australian appearances since 2020, when they completed a four-date run in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

Pentatonix are currently performing shows across North America in support of their 10th studio album, ‘Evergreen’, which was released last year. That album’s festive songs form the setlist of Pentatonix’s current ‘A Christmas Spectacular’ tour, alongside those of their more recent 2022 album ‘Holidays Around the World’, which includes the singles ‘Prayers For This World’ and ‘Kid on Christmas’, the latter of which features Meghan Trainor .

Live Nation has today announced that three-time Grammy-Award winning a cappella group Pentatonix will return to Australia for the Pentatonix: The World Tour in 2023, performing shows in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

As one of the most innovative vocal groups of all time, Pentatonix reimagine and redefine a cappella. Since emerging in 2011, the three-time GRAMMY Award-winning and Daytime EMMY Award-nominated vocal quintet - Scott Hoying , Mitch Grassi , Kirstin Maldonado , Kevin Olusola , and Matt Sallee - have reached unprecedented heights, topping charts, selling 10 million albums worldwide, generating billions of streams, and performing all over the world.

Their single Hallelujah was met with international acclaim, and their catalogue boasts back-to-back #1 albums on the Billboard 200, namely the gold-certified Pentatonix and platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas. Absolutely amazing show. Production was great from the sound to the lights. Would recommend everyone to experience this show. For new and old fans alike this is a truly memorable event that cannot be forgotten. For a longtime fan like myself I was very pleased with the setlist and openers for the show. The combination of Rachel Platten and a capella band Citizen queen made the overall vibe of the show very happy and inspiring. To sum it up, do yourself a favor and attend this concert and let it blow your mind with how great it is.

I saw them in Syracuse, NY only about two hours from my town. I had the VIP Meet and Greet and I was so excited that I was literally shaking. The opportunity to talk with and take selfie's individually with each of the band members was amazing. They sang a song for us off mic such amazing a cappella and it was so wonderful!! We had an opportunity to have each of them sign one item. I had downloaded a candid picture from a Facebook post printed it out and had them sign it. What made this even more special was Matt telling me that that was a picture taken at their first gig when he joined the band.

We got a chance to have a picture taken with all 5 of them. I have not gotten access to it yet but that too was amazing. Then they did a sound check on stage with all of us in the pit area, followed by a Q&A session. I had the best time. Then the whole concert was amazing! I would so recommend seeing them live, and if you can save up and do one of the VIPs please do. I saw them once before in Pennsylvania for Avi's next to last show in the pouring rain after a 6 Hour drive. Obviously I loved it enough to go again.

Pentatonix is going on tour this year! They have announced their 2023 Christmas tour called “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year Tour” which will start on Nov. 14 and run up until Dec. 21, 2023. They will hit venues all over North America in support of their upcoming record “The Greatest Christmas Hits” which will have 23 holiday favorites along with eight new songs.

Pentatonix’s World Tour will take place from Sat, May 11, 2019, to Sat, Sep 16, 2023. With a series of dates and a yet-to-be-revealed album, fans can expect numerous shows and exciting performances.

Pentatonix Announce 2023 North American Leg Of “The World Tour”

Fresh off of Hollywood Boulevard where a cappella group Pentatonix received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, the three-time Grammy-winning quintet announced that they will be embarking on a North American Tour with very special guest Lauren Alaina. Produced by Live Nation, the 24-city tour kicks off on Wednesday, August 9th at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville making stops across North America in Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Irvine and more.  

Today’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is especially significant for Pentatonix as they are the first A Cappella group to receive such honor. Since emerging in 2011, Pentatonix have become the most innovative, inventive, and inimitable vocal groups of all time, and have released a number of successful albums, earning nominations for Grammys, Emmys, and Billboard Music Awards along the way. The group recently finished their most successful Christmas tour ever, playing to 200,000+ people across 22 cities and has tour dates this spring and summer across the globe in Singapore, Japan, Australia and Europe.

Gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable holiday season, Pentatonix share the details for their anxiously awaited 2023 North American Christmas tour, Pentatonix The Most Wonderful Tour Of The Year , and a new holiday greatest hits album, The Greatest Christmas Hits (RCA).

In tandem with the tour, Pentatonix will unveil their 12 th overall full-length and seventh holiday album, The Greatest Christmas Hits , this fall. The album features 23 of the band's top holiday songs and eight brand new, never-before-heard tracks - including one holiday original! Full tracklisting to be revealed soon!

Last year, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning and Daytime EMMY® Award-nominated vocal quintet completed their biggest and most successful Christmas arena tour thus far. Performing to the largest crowds they’ve ever headlined for, it sold out multiple dates across the country. Now, they pick up where they left off with Pentatonix The Most Wonderful Tour Of The Year .

For enhanced safety and speed of entry, we encourage guests not to bring bags of any kind. Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed. Clutch, wristlet and wallets sized 4" x 6" x 1.5" or smaller are allowed and subject to inspection. Medical bags and diaper bags are allowed, however, they are required to pass through x-ray screening prior to entry. Guests with medical and diaper bags must enter the arena at Gate 1. Please allow extra time for entry.

The Reserve , our upscale lounge on the Bremer Bank Suite Level, boasts an eclectic, chef-driven menu and an array of cocktail options. This lounge is open to all guests with suite level tickets or reservations.  Make a reservation .

The  Michelob Golden Light Taphouse  is   located at section 120 (gate 4) and opens at 6:00 p.m. The sports-themed restaurant features signature specialty wings, sandwiches and sharables, plus a full service bar.
