San Antonio was settled in the early 18th century by Spanish missionaries. They arrived to build five missions along the San Antonio River to colonize the region, evangelize to the local Native American population, and defend the northern reaches of New Spain. In 1836, one of these missions – the Alamo – was the site of one of the pivotal battles of the Texas Revolution, the result of which inspired the famous “Remember the Alamo!” battle cry. These five missions still stand to this day, and collectively make up the only  UNESCO World Heritage Site  in Texas. Visit San Antonio Missions National Historical Park  to learn more about this history and discover a community that is still thriving to this day.

In its 300 years, the Alamo has shaped the city of San Antonio, ignited the battle for Texas independence, and influenced American history.

Led by Alamo History Interpreters, our  Remember the Alamo™ Guided Tour , explores the heroes and events that have made the story of the Alamo captivating for generations of Texans. The tour takes you through the area that was the original footprint of the Spanish mission complex, today Alamo Plaza, and describes the events leading up to and including the Battle of the Alamo.

The walking tour is about 30 minutes in duration with time for questions and answers. Your tour includes entry into Alamo Church and the   new Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Cente r  where you can explore exhibits and artifacts from the Phil Collins Collection, the Donald and Louise Yena Spanish Colonial Collection, and more. Immerse yourself in 10,000 square feet of new gallery space with more than 500 artifacts – many on display for the first time!

This tour is perfect for adult groups and families with older children. Filming or recording of Alamo tours is prohibited.

Experience the Tour de France legend Texas-style! L'Étape Texas by Tour de France is part of a worldwide amateur cycling series designed to make you feel like a true Tour de France champion. Race or ride in a course designed by Tour de France experts, winding through your own San Antonio neighborhoods and off into hill country. Participate in the only Texas stage of this legendary series. If you own a bike, this challenge is for you. 

L’Étape Texas (formerly L’Étape San Antonio) is now operated by San Antonio Sports a 501c3 nonprofit. Our goal for L’Étape Texas is to reach more cycling enthusiasts, to operate at a greater scale, and to provide cyclists with an exciting experience. The event is scheduled for April 14, 2024, beginning at the UTSA East campus lot.

San Antonio Sports is not new to world class events. Great people who work the tours , I felt super safe with our driver James and our tour guide Marcos should really consider doing stand-up comedy that guy really lightened up the mood after the Cowboys lost. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Went on a 10 day tour with Ok Tours and had a blast. We went to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. We were treated to amazing site's and experienced an enjoyable time. Our hosts and bus driver were wonderful and helpful. Each city offered a variety of site's to see and enjoy. I would go on another trip with them again.

Ok Tours was amazing yet again! My wife and I use them every year to go to a Cowboys game and it’s always a blast (even more when the Cowboys win) We have been with James as our bus driver for the last few years and it’s always been a smooth ride.

6lack’s ‘no more lonely nights tour’ to visit aztec theatre, show is tuesday, june 11.

SAN ANTONIO – The Grammy-nominated singer 6lack announced a limited tour run with a stop in San Antonio this summer.

Titled after the singer and rapper’s recently released acoustic project, the “No More Lonely Nights” tour will visit seven U.S. cities beginning in May, stopping at the Aztec Theatre on Tuesday, June 11.

Fans can expect an intimate performance of tracks from 6lack’s “Since I Have a Lover” album.

6lack came onto the music scene with 2016′s breakout album “Free 6lack.” In 2018, his album “East Atlanta Love Letter” peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200.

Artists presale will begin on April 30 at 10 a.m. and run through May 3 at 9 a.m. The public can begin purchasing tickets at 10 a.m., according to a Live Nation press release.
