Enjoy a leisurely drive 45 minutes north of the city of Victoria to the Cowichan Valley wine region. 9 wineries and vineyards serve as a backdrop to this hidden gem of the Canadian wine scene. With a focus on red, white and sparkling wines, there’s something for everyone along our Victoria Wine Tour!

Pinot Noir, Merlot, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Bacchus and a host of sparkling wine options will have your taste buds popping as you’re guided through an interpretive tasting experience at the Cowichan Valley’s most sought after wineries.

Our full day Victoria Wine Tour includes tastings at 4 award winning wineries, pick up and drop off from your accommodation in Victoria or surrounding area, round trip transportation in our luxury touring vans and tour guide. This tour also features lunch reservations at the mouth watering Unsworth Restaurant for a leisurely break half way through the tour.

Wine Tours Victoria

There are 20 plus wineries on Vancouver  Island with the majority of these wineries located in the Cowichan Valley.  From Victoria (eg. Empress Hotel) to the closest winery (Mill Bay) the travelling time is a 45 minute drive from downtown Victoria.

Enjoy a full day on a Victoria Wine Tour.

Wine Tours Victoria offer a 15 passenger, forward facing, luxury bus that allows for 14 passengers and a driver and a 19 passenger bus that allows for 18 passengers and a driver (important to have a driver).  We pick up in Victoria (or area) and return you to your pick up location. All tours are private group tours (your group only).     See pricing below.

MyGo Tours has extensive knowldege of the wineries in the Cowichan Valley. We know that some of you enjoy the quaint boutique tour style and others would enjoy visiting some of the more more elaborate style of winery. Maybe you would like to see both?  Our tour guides live in the Cowichan Valley. Reservations for the wineries and restaurant arranged by MyGo Tours.  We’re happy to show off our Cowichan Valley!

Typically we visit 3-4 wineries and  lunch restaurant.  Tastings and lunch are not included in this pricing.  It;s pay as you go and you can expect a winery charge of about $13 for a five wine tasting including gratuity and tax.

We tour groups.  But, only your group. We do not mix groups. The price is always the same no matter how many of your people you have on the bus.

The best days for wine tasting tours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday. We do not tour Sundays from Victoria due to return highway traffic volume. Monday and Tuesday some wineries are closed.  Saturdays are the busiest tour day.

Are the Tastings Included?

Tastings and lunch are not included. It is pay-as-you-go at the wineries. Average price is $10-12 per winery. It is preferred by the wineries that one person pay for the entire group so there is not a long wait at the cash. If you are purchasing a bottle of wine or other sales items these can be purchased by that person separately.

Cheers MyGo does not pay for any tastings or any food. You pay as you go.

How Many People Can Be on the Bus?

Our buses hold 14 passengers and 18 passengers plus a driver, because it's important to have a driver.

Who Chooses the Wineries?

We both can.

Who Makes The Reservations?

Is There a Deposit Required?

There is a $200 deposit required to reserve a bus. No deposit means you are not booked.

MyGo Cheers Tours offers full-day tours for wine tours and brew tours each of which visits multiple wineries or pubs in the area. The tours are led by knowledgeable and experienced drivers who know their way around the Cowichan Valley.

MyGo Cheers Tours provide transportation in a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle. The company offers only  private group tours for groups of up to 32 people, as well as custom tours for special occasions, such as weddings or corporate events.

We are home of one of the largest wine regions in BC and have the longest history of winemaking with grapes on the island, with our first commercial winery opening in 1992, but some of our homesteads date back to the 1800s.  Beyond the glass itself, it’s the experience around the sip—whether we’re after sparkling holiday lights and mulled wine or fresh veggies and a crisp white on a patio, many of our vineyards are open beyond just the summer season.
