IRCTC announces Kashmir tour package at Rs 35,250 per person; check details here

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special Kashmir package, starting at Rs 35,250 per person from Patna and Delhi.
The six-day, five-night tour package–Jannate Kashmir–including air travel from Patna-Delhi-Srinagar, three meals, night stay and site visits, will begin from September 1.
As per the itinerary, the flight will depart from Patna airport at 8:30 am and arrive at Srinagar at 3:10 pm, where the guests will be taken to a hotel and can enjoy ‘Shikara’ boating at the famous Dal Lake in the evening.

Next day, a day-long trip to Gulmarg is planned for visiting a golf course and taking a horse and cable car ride. It will be followed by another day-long trip the next day to Pahalgam, which also includes a visit to saffron farm field and Awantipura ruins.
Tourists will visit Sonmarg on September 4 and overnight stay at a houseboat in Srinagar is also arranged for that day. Next day, visits to famous Mughal gardens, Nishat, Shalimar CheshmaShahi and Shankaracharya Temple have been scheduled.
The tour will end on September 6, after the tourists will be dropped to Srinagar airport for boarding flight to Patna, connected with Delhi, at 11:25 pm.
As per the IRCTC, four types of packages are available with single occupancy priced at Rs 48,300, double occupancy at Rs 35,900, triple occupancy or child with bed (5-11) at Rs 35,250, child without bed (5-11yrs) Rs 29,950 and child without bed (2-4 yrs) at Rs 23,850.
All interested can visit IRCTC website to make online bookings and regional offices in Patna, Gaya and Delhi for the offline mode booking.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) often brings an exciting variety of tour packages from time to time. This time, they have introduced the “PARADISE ON EARTH-KASHMIR EX BENGALURU tour package”.

The luxurious and affordable tour package is offered by IRCTC under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ initiatives. Through this package, IRCTC is going to take you on a tour of the beautiful plains of Kashmir at packages starting at Rs 38,310 per person.
This package is for 5 nights, and 6 days and the journey will start from Bangalore. IRCTC has partnered with airlines to transport the passengers from Bangalore to Delhi and then to Srinagar. The tour will start on September 25, 2022, and go on till September 30, 2022.
Fares start from Rs 38,310 per person:
The per-person expenditure on triple occupancy in comfort class is Rs 38,310, whereas, for double occupancy, it increases by Rs 780 per person to Rs 39,090. If you are travelling solo, the cost of single occupancy is Rs 48,120.
For a child of 5 to 11 years with a bed, the charge is Rs 35,260, while for a child of the same age without a bed it would cost Rs 33,780. Under this tour package, one will be able to visit many beautiful places, including Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonmarg.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled its 5 night 6 days Enchanting Kashmir package. “If there is a Paradise on Earth, then it is here, it is here in Kashmir," IRCTC describes.

From Shikara ride over Dal Lake or gondola cable car ride at Gulmarg or the road trip to Pahalgam everything will be included in this Enchanting Kashmir package starting from 1 April. The package has set fixed departures dates with two departures in the month of April, four in May and June each. All these departures will be from Delhi airport.

Departure Dates for IRCTC Kashmir air tour package
1 April, 15 April, 5 May, 20 May, 27 May, 28 May, 3 June, 10 June, 11 June, and 17 June.
The cost of the IRCTC's Enchanted Kashmir tour package is priced at ₹ 32,030 per person for double occupancy while for triple occupancy, the price is ₹ 31,010 per person. The price for single occupany is priced at ₹ 48,740.
For Children, Child With Bed aged 5-11 yrs is ₹ 28,010 and for child without bed aged between 2-4 yrs is ₹ 14,960.
IRCTC Kashmir package inclusion:
Airfare for Delhi – Srinagar – Delhi
Sightseeing as per the itinerary by AC vehicle on sharing basis.
Accommodation in well appointed rooms at Srinagar and Pahalgam.
The package also includes one night stay at House Boat and Shikara Ride over Dal Lake
The package includes 5 Breakfasts and Dinners but lunch is not included.
General Insurance will also be covered in the package.
Anything additional other than those mentioned in the itinerary will be chargeable.
Trips to Aru Chandanwari and Betaab Valley trip, Thajwas Glacier trip at Sonmarg, Zero point trip at Sonmarg, are trips done by Taxi Union, hence will not be paid by IRCTC. Tickets to the Gondola cable car is also not included in the package.

- The package is named ‘Kashmir Paradise On Earth with Vaishnodevi Tour’.
- The journey will begin from the Gandhi Nagar Capital Railway station and the primary mode of transportation is by train.
- IRCTC has come up with two dates for this travel package. The first tour will begin on June 1 and continue till June 11. The starting date for the second one will be from June 13 to June 23.
- The boarding and de-boarding points are Gandhinagar Capital, Kalol, Mahesana Junction, Unjha, Siddhpur, Palanpur Junction, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar Junction, and Jodhpur Junction.
The package starts at ₹40,100 and it is for triple occupancy per person. For double occupancy per traveller, the package fare is ₹42,000. Lastly, the package cost for each person booking single occupancy is ₹58,300.

IRCTC offers pocket-friendly tour packages to Kashmir; check out the air fares
Kashmir is often touted as a paradise on earth for its amazing natural beauty. IRCTC has announced fabulous packages for tourists from Kerala to enjoy the mystical locales of Kashmir.
Five days, six nights The journey that includes five days and six nights begins at Thiruvananthapuram on 17 June and 1 July. Interestingly, the package begins at Rs 47350 per head.
The package includes economy air tickets of Indigo Airlines, accommodation at hotels, driver allowance, toll rates and parking fees.

However, the visitors have to pay for the pony rides, gondola tickets and sleighing. Besides, the entry charges to Aru Chandanwari in Pahalgam, Betaab valley, Zero Point trip at Sonmarg during summer and tour guide charges too aren’t included.
Daily plans On the first day, the journey begins from the airport at Thiruvananthapuram and reaches Srinagar on the same day. After resting at the hotel for some time, the visitors would be taken to the Dal Lake for shikara ride. On the second day, you could see the beautiful sights at Sonmarg which is 2800 metres above the sea level. Dinner would be served at the hotel.
The visitors would be taken to Gulmarg and Khilanmarg on the third day. Gulmarg which is a popular skiing destination is also known for the gondola, which is one of the highest cable cars in the world. The visitors can return to the hotel at Srinagar at night where dinner would be provided.
On the fourth day, after breakfast, the visitors can visit Pahalgam. The saffron fields, Avantipur remains, Betaab Valley, Chandanawari and Aru Valley are some of the attractions at Pahalgam which is 2440 metres above sea level.
The visitors can return to Srinagar after breakfast on the fifth day. At Srinagar, they would be taken to the Sankaracharya temple followed by the Hazratbal shrine on the banks of the Dal Lake. The visitors can then enjoy shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Moreover, they can spend the night and enjoy dinner in a houseboat on the lake.
The breakfast on the next day would be provided on the house boat. The tourists can return on the same day to Thiruvananthapuram from the Srinagar airport.
The bookings are open for the package named Kashmir – Heaven on Earth.
Charges for adults and children A group of twenty nine people would be taken for the trip at a time. The charges for adults are Rs 54,450 for single occupancy, Rs 48,700 for double occupancy and Rs 47,350 for triple occupancy. Meanwhile, the bookings for children from 2 – 4 years could only be done at the IRCTC counters. For that, you could contact 0484 2382991. There would be infant charges for children under two years. This could be directly paid at the airline counter while checking in.
