• Safety Equipment: Helmets are required by law when operating an e-bike in British Columbia.

Amplify your ability and forge your own trail. Rent a Volt Yukon V2 electric bike to cruise along the Galloping Goose pathway and other regional trails in Victoria and Sooke. 2 pickup locations. All rentals include a helmet, lock, custom trail map, and instructions. Family add-ons like chariots and tag-a-longs are available too! Must be booked in advance.

The Victoria Castles and ‘Hoods’ Bike Tour is a two-hour guided excursion delving into the unique and historic neighbourhoods surrounding Victoria’s downtown. Along the way, you will visit the  iconic landmarks of Craigdarroch Castle, historic Chinatown, Beacon Hill Park, the scenic Dallas waterfront and be introduced to local favourites Cook Street village, Moss Rock, and artistic Fernwood.  You’ll meet your guide, select a bike that’s a good fit, strap on your helmet and embark on a 2-hour adventure exploring and cycling around Victoria. This tour will provide you with all the insight to why Victoria’s such a lovable city, filled with all the history and highlights! E-bikes: E-bikes work just like a regular bicycle but are slightly heavier, and they only assist you when necessary. With no gas engine, they are quiet and respectful to the environment.  You are able to cover more distance than our other tours because the e-bikes enable people to go a little further with ease.

• Tours are casual and at a very comfortable pace so no one gets left behind. Participants should have some cardiovascular stamina and be able to exercise at a moderate amount. You must be able to ride a bike.

Further down Dallas Road you can make a slight detour around  Beacon Hill  Park for breathtaking, garden-filled vistas on the way. Keep an eye out for all the unique bird-life!

Victoria On Two Feet

For the foodies – Off the Eaten Track Tours offers several themed walking tours through downtown’s many neighbourhoods, making stops at iconic Victorian restaurants, pubs, and bakeries for a bite. Stroll down Government Street and stop in at Merchant Quarters General Store to find some unique, and true-to-Victoria goodies. Then, keep heading down the cobble street and stop in for a truly delectable experience at Roger’s Chocolate .

You can take your feet as far as they will let you – walk over the Johnson Street Bridge and enjoy the beautiful Songhees Walkway.  This is also the location of the Songhees Welness Centre, where culture, people, and tradition all come to meet. Explore Songhees departs from here – an Indigenous cultural walking or canoe tour led by members of the Songhees Nation.  These meaningful tours shed light on the history of the Songhees peoples, who have thrived on this land since time immemorial.  For fabulous views and delicious cocktails along the way, stop at Boom + Batten .

If your feet are starting to give out, Victoria Harbour Ferries has you covered. You can hop on at the dock right by  Boom + Batten and tell the friendly captain where you want to head to next. We suggest floating on over to Fisherman’s Wharf to see the vibrant colours of the houseboats. Then just up and over the lawn, the most delicious freshly-caught seafood awaits you at Finest At Sea .

Locals Tip: Feeling adventurous? Take the route off the beaten path via the giant rocks along the water. Watch out for the waves!

From the Breakwater, the walk along Dallas Road is like no other. With the buzz of cyclists, dog walkers, runners, and the unmatched views of the sea and Olympic Mountains across the water in Washington State, you’ll feel energized to continue on to Cook Street.

• 24hr rental periods starting from the time you pick up
• Bicycle theft is a major problem in Victoria.
• No insurance on bicycle rentals.
• Renter is responsible for the full value of the bike.
• Renter is provided a lock for rental.
• Do not lock bicycle outside for an extended period of time, do not lock bicycle outside at night.

Can I make a reservation for a bicycle rental?

Yes, you can book a day reservation for a bicycle through our reservation system. If you are planning on riding for less than 3 hours, our bicycles are first come, first serve. We have over 60 bicycles in our shop and there is a very good chance you can just drop in and pick one up.

Are helmets and locks included?

Yes, we offer helmets and locks for no extra cost. We have a wide variety of sizes, big or small we should have something that fits.

How old do I need to be to rent?

In order to rent you need to be at least 19 years of age. If you are under 19, your legal guardian must be present to sign the waiver form.

19 Years or Older

Renters under the age of 19 must have a photo ID and a legal parent or guardian present at the time of rental to sign a witnessed liability release.

A piece of government issued photo identification.

Credit Card

Any valid major credit card, in your name, with the value of the security deposit per bike available.

Currency Conversion All rates found on our website are in Canadian Dollars. XE currency conversion is an easy to use website that can be used to convert our rates to your local currency.
