Black Raven Adventures

Took my daughter and 2 grandsons (7 & 3) on a mini adventure for a week and the Black Raven’s Treasure Hunt was the favorite activity by far. The boys are still talking like pirates and can’t wait to go back!!! The interactive show was awesome and the entire crew made the day amazing!

We did the Night of Lights tour and it was AWESOME! The crew was fantastic and so much fun they were perfectly piratey, but also able to turn it off and make recommendations for other things in the area or to point out the dolphins swimming off the sides of the boat. It was great for kids and adults and we can’t wait to come back and do the “regular” ride with the show.

Thank you all for the wonderful elopement wedding in a lightning storm! Also, thanks for the trash bag for me to wear with the dress!! Haha! The most memorable wedding in history, I think! Timothy and I appreciate everything! We shall be back!!

We did the evening tour and it was absolutely awesome and funny. We had a great time and the dirty jokes and songs were a lot of fun! Recommended for folks who are not easily offended and enjoy dirty jokes and good humor!

a group of people posing for the camera

The 21+ rum runner cruise was AMAZING! We had so much fun. Drinks/Bartender was A++ and the prices were great. The skits, jokes and songs are absolutely hilarious. We highly recommend this to the adult crowd. Even though it was quite chilly, we had a blast. Can’t wait to do it again when we travel back from Western NC. 100% great time.

a close up of a boat

I originally thought that this was a little pricey, but how wrong I was. This show was well worth the money. The crew of the black raven were great and made you laugh. The show lasts about an hour and a half, but it seemed like it was about half hour. That is how good the show was, THANK YOU to the crew of the Black Raven.

a boat is docked next to a body of water

Engaged pirate characters, smooth sailing, and guides pointed put dolphins and even alerted us to a rocket launch that was visible in the sky. Additionally the Captain maneuvered the ship as much as possible so that we could capture the sunset almost aligned with the light house. Weather was fair as well and the holiday lights were very visible on the shore. Much more than I would ever have expected! Aarrggh!

Scenic Cruise of St. Augustine

A view only available from the water!!

Welcome to St. Augustine Scenic Cruise!!

Since the 1900’s St. Augustine Scenic Cruise has been giving visitors to St. Augustine a unique view of the city and a way to enjoy St. Augustine’s historic land marks and natural beauty.

The Usina’s were among settlers from the island of Minorca, located off the coast of Spain, finally settling in St. Augustine in 1777. Many of their descendants remain in St. Augustine today. In 1900 Captain Frank Usina and his wife, Catherine, could not return to Miami were he had been working as a carpenter on the Miami train station because of an outbreak of yellow fever.

They settled in the area known today as North Beach, then accessible only by boat. Henry Flagler approached Frank and his wife, asking them to hold oyster roasts for friends and guests staying at his Ponce De Leon Hotel, now Flagler College, and the Alcazar Hotel, now the Lightner Museum. The outings to North Beach became a regular attraction, and thus, the family boat business was born. Initially starting with a chartered launch, Frank ferried guests to and from North Beach for Minorcan Style dinners, oysters, music, dancing and sightseeing along the Matanzas Bay. Shortly thereafter, Frank purchased a 45′ launch stuck on a mud bar. He repaired, refinished and christened it the Victory , replacing the chartered launch, but remaining at the helm as Captain.

10 out of 10 would recommend and use again. Ian was the absolute best. We were celebrating my sister's bachelorette party and the boat was everything we could possibly dream of. Between the bar, the best bartender (thanks again Ian), the covered area to escape the sun and an area to hand out in the sun, the music, access to bathrooms and the magical scenery that is St. Augustine, we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thanks Captain Glen for keeping us safe

OCTOBER 2023

We booked the boat for a wedding party cruise before the big day and had an absolute blast. Big thanks to Jonathan, Capt Glen and team at Perch for making it a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.

This was such a great experience! We considered a different sunset cruise and I am so thankful my husband found this one. Super friendly crew and plenty of space! Family friendly!

AUGUST 2023

Couldn't be better!! I celebrated my birthday here with a group of friends and we had a great time. Super spacious boat, bar with great prices and you can play your own music. Thanks guys we had a great time!!

FEBRUARY 27, 2022

My wife along with some other friends have enjoyed Sabrage, cruises on multiple occasions. Staff is always on top of safety but ready to have an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend checking them out for a romantic sunset cruise, employee appreciation day, or a large gathering! The boat can handle public small groups or private large groups with ease and it is easy to customize your experience. Sabrage, is a great resource for me both personally and professionally to show appreciation with friends and people in my network! I love this addition to our small community! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

AUGUST 11, 2022

We chartered the Sabrage for a family day on the water around St Augustine. The entire day was great. Anchored right in front of the fort for our catered lunch. Very accommodating and great customer service while we took in the beautiful views. We are looking forward to our next adventure with them!

What a fantastic 90 minutes! Captain Tyler (not Rebecca) was charming, funny, informative and really genuine. The opportunity to experience that kind of water tour was tempting but I wasn't expecting the level of education and entertainment that we received. The number of ppl on the boat was carefully decided by # of parties, and it was clear that safety was a significant part of the company's value set. There were two little ones on our tour and they were absolutely Zen, so no worries there. I 100% recommend taking the time to experience the beauty, the information, and the amazing life in, around and above the water!

saint augustine florida boat tour

We had a wonderful time. Captain Justin and his side kick were awesome. Saw a pod of manatees, juvenile gators, and lots of turtles. The only thing missing was more flying through the open waters. We loved the referral to the BBQ down the road. "Wood Pecker BBQ". Great way to end the day. Thanks for everything.

Fantastic tour! Fun and informative! Bring your family, friends, or team members for a wonderful time together. Highly recommend it!

Photo of Chris C.

The online registration is really easy and the location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. You can check in and then wait up at the bait shop which has a large porch with seating and fans. There are drinks and snacks available in the bait shop. You can bring coolers and snacks onto the boat including beer or other drinks. The captains are very cool and provide a great experience. They navigate through the water and point out some wildlife. You have to understand that the time of year will usually determine what you see. We saw lots of turtles and birds and a few baby / juvenile alligators. I live in Florida so I knew we probably wouldn't see much. They play a cool soundtrack over the headset while they are navigating through the water. They do stop for a short period and provide some history of the area. I do wish that they provided more higher speed travel through some marshy or swampy areas. If you are looking for a ride through the swamp and through the marsh then this is t the place. If you are looking for a good airboat ride with a look at some wildlife then it is great. Overall, it is a good experience and the staff was very customer oriented.

Fascinating Airboat ride on the St John's River. Our Captain Justin was very informative and knowledgeable about the area, its history and wildlife. Great fun for couples, friends and families.

We had a great time on our tour! Captain Tyler was very knowledgeable and the balance of interesting information and fun was perfect. We'd highly recommend Sea Serpent Airboat to anyone traveling to the area.

Photo of Marie S.

Absolutely worth it! Enjoyed every part. The captain was funny, knowledgeable and made me feel safe. He took time to point out wildlife and helped us see turtles, a manatee, baby alligators and interesting birds. Fun and peaceful. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Photo of Cathy G.

We had a great time! Tyler our guide did a fabulous job! He pointed out alligators, turtles and the different trees and plants. Would definitely do this tour again!

saint augustine florida boat tour

It was so fun!!!!! Lots of wildlife and great stories too!!!! We'll be back!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Airboat!

Incredibly easy to book the tour for my party. When/if you have to call you will 99.99% of the time get a real human. The airboat was very comfortable and rode very well over the light chop of the river. The provided hearing protection doubles as headphones to listen to some well curated music and a few good stories about the area. We got to see some beautiful birds, cute turtles and nice sized gators but the best part is when the captain slows things down a bit and lets everyone enjoy mother nature while gently coasting down the creek. Everyone was incredibly friendly and too great care to engage everyone in conversation, crack a few good jokes and most importantly made sure everyone knew how to be safe and have a great time. Thank you Captain Becca and Captain Mike!

St. Augustine with Kids: 30 Best Things To Do in St. Augustine, Florida

F lorida has its “ Emerald Coast, ” its " Space Coast, " its “ Treasure Coast ,” and even its “Forgotten Coast.” But unless you spend time in its northernmost section, you might be unaware of its “Historic Coast,” headlined by the haven of St. Augustine.

About an hour south of Jacksonville , whose sizable airport services most major carriers, sits America’s oldest city, St. Augustine, founded in 1565 by Spanish explorers. To visit St. Augustine’s charming cobblestone streets and seemingly ancient architecture is to be reminded of Florida’s multicultural history.

Of course, these days visitors—adults and kids alike—are better welcomed than the 18th-century pirates who sailed in for plunder. These days, St. Augustine is a seaside haven for kids and families, particularly those eager to mix a little education with all that Florida sunshine.

Read on for our picks for the 30 best things to do in St. Augustine with kids. Then check out our  Florida Family Vacation Guide for more great getaways in the Sunshine State.

FYI: St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach are separate municipalities, with St. Augustine Beach sitting across the Intracoastal Waterway on 14-mile-long Anastasia Island.

Things to Do Outdoors in St. Augustine, Florida

1. boat rentals.

There are a host of cruise and sailing options for families eager to experience St. Augustine’s pristine waterways. Anastasia Watersports and St. Augustine Sailing Enterprises are two places to start. For a unique oceangoing adventure, consider Schooner Freedom Charters if your kids can handle a two-hour tall-ship excursion. Florida Water Tours offers sunset and full-moon tours, kayak rentals, and more.

2. Pirate and Sightseeing Cruises

Embark on a pirate-themed treasure hunt as the  Black Raven  attempts to catch the treasure-stealing  Queen Anne’s Revenge , skippered by Blackbeard himself. If pirates aren't your thing, opt for a 75-minute sightseeing cruise past the city’s historical landmarks and sites of natural interest via  St. Augustine Scenic Cruises , which has been ferrying around visitors for more than 100 years.

The secluded St. Augustine Beach is a perfect respite from daily life. Photo courtesy of the St. Augustine Tourism Bureau

3. Hit the Beach

The St. Augustine area boasts 40 miles of coastline and is dotted with beaches. Head to St. Augustine Beach and the St. Johns County Fishing Pier for water activities, fishing, restaurants, and other amenities. Butler and Crescent beaches, a few miles south, are much quieter. Anastasia State Park is a natural gem. Wherever you go, be secure knowing water along St. Augustine’s beaches is generally calm and surrounded by some of Florida’s most ornate dunes.

Go biking along beautiful Anastasia State Park Beach. Photo courtesy of Florida State Parks

St. Augustine sits just across the Intracoastal Waterway from Anastasia Island, a 14-mile stretch of seafront ideal to explore by bike. Otherwise, rent a bike and explore the historic Old City. St. Augustine Bike Rentals offers bikes, scooters, and golf carts by the hour or by the day.

The  St. Johns County Fishing Pier offers nonresidents fishing access for a small fee. It is one of several fishing piers in the area, including the popular  Vilano Beach Fishing Pier , just north of St. Augustine and FREE to the public. Bait and tackle shops abound, where kids can be fitted with the latest gear. Fishing charters are also plentiful.

6. Mini Golf

Mini golf courses abound in St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach. If you’re eager to get your game on, try  Anastasia Miniature Golf , Fiesta Falls Mini Golf , or  Ripley’s Bayfront Mini Golf , among others.

The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve protects 76,000 acres of Florida's NE coast. Photo courtesy of Visit St. Augustine

7. State Parks

Anastasia State Park is home to more than 1,500 acres of tidal marshes, dunes, and wildlife, including seabirds. Rumor has it, the state park is home to thousands of fiddler crabs just waiting to be caught (and released) by eager toddlers. Picnic tables, hammocks, campsites, and even kayak rentals are available. Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve begins in Ponte Vedra Beach and winds through St. Augustine, offering biking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and more.

Indoor Things to Do in St. Augustine, Florida

8. adventure landing.

At this entertainment facility, kids can test their driving skills on go-karts, their hitting skills in the batting cages, or their putting prowess on the mini golf course. But the must-do attraction is the roller coaster simulator, where you'll take off on an imaginary coaster ride from inside a virtual-reality chamber. Fair warning: This is not for the faint of heart, or for young children.

Anastasia Lanes offers weekly bowling specials, birthday celebrations, and even lessons. Family bowling packages are also available. Anastasia Lanes is located near a number of kid-friendly restaurants on State Route A1A.

10. Escape Rooms

For rainy-day fun for teens or tweens, visit Escape U or Xscape Our Rooms . The template is familiar: A group of friends (or strangers) is “locked” inside a room, needing to find the necessary clues to be released. Xscape also offers axe tossing.

11. Potter’s Wax Museum

Much like at Madame Tussaud’s, in this museum you’ll find yourself side-by-side with some of history’s legendary figures. Potter’s claims to be the oldest wax museum in the country, and it’s housed inside the oldest pharmacy in the nation.

12. Ripley's Believe It or Not!

You’ll see the strangest things at Ripley's Believe It or Not! in the Old City. The self-described “odditorium” also features train tours through the city, highlighted by its Ghost Train Adventure.

Activities for Fans of History (and Pirates)

13.  st. augustine pirate and treasure museum.

This museum transports families back three centuries to the pirate stronghold of Port Royal, Jamaica. Embark on a “treasure” hunt and enjoy a special show about the legendary Blackbeard.

14. Castillo de San Marcos

The Castillo de San Marcos , or “Castle of St. Mark,” is the oldest brick-and-mortar structure in the US, built by the Spanish to protect the city from raids by privateers and the British. Kids can explore the fortress, enjoy a Ranger program, and even search for celestial bodies in the clear night sky. A few miles south is Fort Matanzas National Monument , built in 1740 to protect St. Augustine from raids coming from the south.

15. Colonial Quarter

A walk through the quarter is quite literally a step back in time. Learn about blacksmithing, climb the top of the 35-foot watchtower, and join a tour culminating in a musket demonstration. Some of St. Augustine’s best family-friendly restaurants can be found in the quarter, which also hosts a regular series of outdoor concerts and movies at Colonial Oak Music Park .

16. Old Jail Museum

Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, this museum offers visitors a glimpse into St. Augustine’s not-so-charitable past. Follow costumed docents as they lead a tour through the jail cells, telling tales of the city’s most notorious prisoners and “booking” your kids for crimes popular in the 19th century. It’s all good fun, and playful enough for younger children.

17. Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park

This park celebrates explorer Ponce de Leon’s discovery of Florida in 1513, found while he was searching for the mythical Fountain of Youth. Attractions here include a blacksmith shop, historical excavations, a Native American village, resident peacocks, and, of course, the “magical” spring water that visitors can sample.

18. Pirate and Ghost Tours

The Old City’s Child-Friendly Pirate Walking Tour enables children ages 5-14 to learn about the city’s history and interact with “pirates” in a sort of pirate school for kids, all led by a costumed buccaneer.

If you want to learn about St. Augustine's paranormal past,  Tour St. Augustine, Inc. offers ghost tours of the Old City appropriate for teens and mature tweens. The Ghosts & Gravestones trolley tour takes guests on a 75-minute trip past St. Augustine’s haunted sites, but, again, is best for tweens and teens.

19. St. Augustine Lighthouse

Scale the 219 steps to the top of this 145-year-old beacon for the best views of the city and beaches. Some form of watchtower has actually stood near the current lighthouse since 1589. Young kids will enjoy the shipyard playground area. Older kids might be intrigued by the wooden-boat builders who work on the main floor. Shipwreck artifacts are conserved in an on-site lab, and there are a number of nature trails.

22. MarineLand Dolphin Adventure

MarineLand is actually an incorporated community just south of downtown St. Augustine Beach, and its dolphin encounters are among the most popular excursions for visitors. Kids can experience these friendly creatures in-house during a dolphin swim or at an open-water sail. Kayak and boat tours of the coastal ecosystem are also available.

23. St. Augustine Wild Reserve

The St. Augustine Wild Reserve is a working rescue center for unwanted exotic animals. 26. Ice Cream and Candy

Sweet treats abound in the Old City and along the beach. Locals line up for sundaes at Cone Heads in St. Augustine Beach. Mayday Handcrafted Ice Cream offers artisanal creations on St. George Street. If you’re craving chocolate, visit Whetstone Chocolates , located throughout the area, for tours and tastings.

  • 10 Most Laid-Back Small Towns In Florida

Florida 's sunny weather, pristine beaches, and mellow vibes present the ideal atmosphere to kick back, relax, and decompress. Those seeking an escape from their daily life routine and work pressures will find the rest they deserve in the Sunshine State. But unlike crowded destinations like Miami and Orlando, the small, often-underrated towns have all the hallmarks of paradise without the bustle and chaos. Places like Destin, with its emerald coastline and relaxed atmosphere, and Sanibel Island, known for seaside bike trails and wildlife, exemplify this allure.

The most laid-back small towns in Florida, between turquoise waters and sublime nature, are tailor-made for rest and rejuvenation. Experience the Sunshine State's unspoiled appeal through the coastal vibes and charm of these lesser-known beach communities that feel a world apart.

Morada Bay Cafe, Islamorada, Florida

Better known as the "Sport Fishing Capital of the World," Islamorada enjoys a small-town atmosphere that is guaranteed to relax any troubled mind. It presents numerous easygoing pursuits to keep visitors engaged and entertained. The History of Diving Museum is a great place to start; it is a quaint venue with thousands of diving-related artifacts you can examine slowly for a look into the evolution of diving. If you find marine wildlife adorable, you will love the inspiring shows at the Theater of the Sea. This popular marine park captivates tourists with incredible sea lion performances and up-close encounters like swimming with the dolphins.

When in Islamorada, you can take advantage of the sandy shores, picturesque water views, and relaxed beach scenery. Anne's Beach combines all three to grant visitors an intimate experience with the Atlantic Coast and a chance to picnic, swim, and stroll along a picturesque boardwalk.

Fernandina Beach

Fernandina Beach, Florida

This slice of island paradise in northeast Florida provides a peaceful escape in a welcoming rural community. First-timers might want to stop by the Amelia Island Welcome Center for essential information needed to create the perfect itinerary. The friendly staff will tell you about all the top points of interest and how best to explore and experience them. Beaches are always a priority for vacationers, and Fernandina Beach has plenty of them. You can head to Peter's Point Beachfront Park for unassuming walks along a sandy shore with gorgeous Atlantic Ocean vistas.

Those yearning to get on the water can climb aboard the Amelia River Cruises and Charters for easygoing boat tours to discover the town from the water. Meanwhile, the Amelia Community Theatre invites newcomers to interact with locals and watch family-friendly stage performances, including dramas, comedies, and musicals.

Aerial view of Destin, Florida

Discover the beauty of Florida's Emerald Coast with a trip to this picturesque Gulf of Mexico gem. Destin is known for its pristine beaches, with emerald-green waters and a serene coastal atmosphere. It provides exceptional views of the Atlantic, which tourists can soak up during a laid-back stroll along the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. This vibrant corridor houses bars, eateries, and souvenir stores, creating exciting social opportunities. But if you prefer less crowded spaces, you can check out the more serene boardwalk at Henderson Beach State Park.

Destin also allows guests to get their retail therapy at the lively Destin Commons, an open-air shopping complex where you can shop till you drop and eat to your fill. Finally, history enthusiasts will prefer getting some background on the town with a tour of the Destin History & Fishing Museum, which houses a collection of quirky exhibits, including maritime artifacts and vintage fishing rigs.

Anna Maria Island

Anna Maria Island, Florida

Beachgoers will be spoilt for choice in this beautiful island getaway on the Gulf Coast. Anna Maria Island is known for its broad and stretchy beaches, providing vacationers with endless shoreline real estate. While there is no shortage of options, Bean Point Beach is ideal for catching the best sunsets on the island, whereas Manatee Beach Park is better suited for those who want public amenities but do not mind the crowds.

Several beachfront eateries serve diverse flavors to tantalize any taste bud in town. Sandbar Seafood & Spirits is an excellent stop if you would like to savor sumptuous seafood with your toes digging in the sand. After a delightful day at the beach and a hearty meal on the sand, you can cap off the day with soothing massage therapy at Body & Sol Spa and Wellness.

Aerial shot Vero Beach

This nature lover's dream come true harbors everything from untouched beaches and secluded saltwater lagoons to preserved wildlife refuges. It has all the hallmarks of a relaxing retreat, and guests can choose from various easygoing pursuits during their stay. Picnicking under a beach umbrella on the sandy shores of South Beach Park would be an excellent option. The serene environment is perfect for stress-free sit-downs to people-watch. But if you prefer a greener space to relax in, it does not get better than McKee Botanical Garden. This 18-acre oasis hosts a mix of native and exotic plant species with quiet trails to explore the area.

Elsewhere, the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge has various native bird habitats that allow you to spot cute shorebird species while walking along secluded nature trails. For an indoor alternative, consider browsing beautiful artworks by local creatives at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.

St. Augustine

St. Augustine, Florida, USA city hall and Alcazar Courtyard.

One of the most historic small towns in Florida, St. Augustine's claim to fame is America's oldest city. This quiet coastal community charms visitors with its rich historical heritage and has a walkable downtown that invites you to explore a treasure trove of vintage gems. Notable points of interest include the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument. This historic Spanish fortress dates back to the 17th century and is the country's oldest masonry fort. Touring the Old Jail Museum offers a look into old-world St. Augustine from the experience of prisoners through various exhibits inside an 1890 jailhouse.

While there are endless landmarks to visit, the best way to explore them without wasting too much time is to take the Old Town Trolley Tours. This 70-minute journey features over 50 sites and a resourceful narrator who exposes guests to more than five centuries of local history.

Trolley driving through Main Street in Dunedin, Florida.

Unlike neighboring Tampa , Dunedin has a more easygoing feel and rural atmosphere, devoid of rowdy crowds. This lovely location on Florida's Gulf Coasts harbors beautiful beaches and pine forests. Honeymoon Island State Park is the ideal escape to take in the beach scenery, swim in the toasty Atlantic waters, or lie on the smooth sand and wait for the stunning sunset. On the other hand, Josiah Cephas Weaver Park promises some shade from the glaring sun with peaceful picnic spaces where you can spend quality time with family and friends.

Downtown Dunedin boasts a vibrant social scene with quaint eaters, local shops, and small pubs. You can have a casual yet satisfying shopping experience at the Dunedin Downtown Market, which sells assorted fresh produce at reasonable prices. Alternatively, sit down for a hearty meal at Bon Appetit Restaurant & Bar.

The gorgeous beach at Siesta Key, Florida.

This 8-mile-long barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico is all you need for that soothing seaside vacation you have always wanted. Siesta Key has the small-town atmosphere tourists always look for, but its numerous attractions ensure there is never a dull moment on the island. You can join other beachgoers on the serene shores of Crescent Beach for lazy walks on the smooth sand and spellbinding sunset views. Alternatively, a remarkable aerial adventure courtesy of Parasail Siesta is the best way to inject adrenaline into your experience.

Attending the Siesta Key Farmers Market is an excellent way to meet good-natured locals and feel their welcoming spirit up close. The vendors also exhibit cute handicrafts that you can get as souvenirs.

Madeira Beach

Madeira Beach, Florida,

This adorable community of Pinellas County packs a punch of fun attractions to promise vacationers a remarkable experience. Madeira Beach has an exquisite coastal scenery that compels newcomers to spend much of their day on the sand. Archibald Beach Park is among the top outdoor spots in the town and provides an idyllic setting for a family day out. Guests can also find inspiration from hands-on animal encounters at the Alligator Wildlife & Discovery Center. The fabulous sanctuary houses alligators and other reptiles and excites visitors with petting and feeding sessions.

Even better, you can book a tour with Dolphin Quest for a unique sightseeing excursion and to witness dolphins playing and performing tricks. But when you need a break from the outdoors, you can have fun in a virtual world by going to VX Virtual Reality Arcade.

Crystal River

Crystal River, Florida

For many visitors to Crystal River , the highlight is swimming alongside the gentle Florida manatees. This coastal haven on the state's western side is an excellent destination for travelers seeking rich natural experiences. It is home to the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, a haven for the manatee. You can also encounter the town's gentle giants at Three Sisters Springs. This beautiful oasis is known for its crystal-clear water, inviting tourists for gentle kayaking adventures from where you can spot the manatees swimming.

But if you prefer a more intimate experience, you can book a tour with Swim with the Manatees to pet the social animals. After enough fun with Florida's famous underwater residents, you can restock with scrumptious Cajun-style flavors at Cajun Jimmy's Seafood Seller & Cafe.

The Takeaway

From the pleasant manatee encounters in Crystal River to the relaxed seaside adventures in Siesta Key, these charming small towns in Florida guarantee the perfect escape from life's daily pressures. While this collection features a sample of the state's most unwinding locales, continued touring promises serene spots awaiting discovery across varied landscapes. Prioritizing these laid-back havens delivers the ideal way of absorbing the Sunshine State's easygoing character through meaningful local exchanges. They will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated at the end of the vacation.
