Raves and Reviews

"Along with her terminally ill husband, Winn undertook a 1,000-mile walk through Britain, a demanding yet ultimately fulfilling journey, lyrically recounted by a captivating writer."

– PEOPLE  Magazine,  Best Books of Fall 2023

" Landlines is both an inspiring testament to fortitude and a plea to save a burning planet. Winn fills her work with rich metaphors drawn from the natural world.”

– The Washington Post

“Inspiring. The narrative is so vividly drawn and emotionally resonant that most readers will come to feel like one of the family, sharing their pain and uncertainty and eventual triumph. This is an unforgettable story about fragility girded by resolve and the courage to keep going, even if it’s just that one more step, and to hold fast to hope. Winn exudes the soul of a poet and the grit of a survivor.”

– Kirkus Reviews  (starred review)

“Hope and determination in the face of all odds drive this engrossing book. Readers who have undertaken caretaking responsibilities for loved ones will find much to relate to in this honest depiction.”

– Library Journal

“This is a story of grit and persistence, but most importantly, a tale of putting oneself ‘in the way of hope.’ Readers familiar with the couple's previous adventures especially will love this third installment.”

“A captivating reflection on nature and the lines that divide and shape countries and people.”

– Sainsbury's Magazine

“As well as a portrait of a telepathic marriage of true minds, and a snapshot of a fretful island, this is a soaring lament and a tub-thumping tirade?for all that is being lost, for all that may yet be saved.”

– The Telegraph

“Fans of The Salt Path will love this moving continuation of Raynor and her husband Moth's journey. Alongside beautiful nature writing, there are thought-provoking observations on our countryside and the threat it is under.”

– Good Housekeeping

“Raynor Winn has done it again. She's achieved a miracle, defying all odds and walking 1,000 miles with her beloved husband Moth. But she has also given her vast army of fans?both armchair hikers and the real thing?another wondrous book, full of compassion, humour, insights, closeness to nature and true, bloody-minded grit. An inspiration.”

– Isabella Tree, author of  Wilding

“If you followed Raynor and husband Moth on The Salt Path, you will thrill to join them on this epic walk, from Scotland's wild and beautiful Cape Wrath Trail. Miracles might just happen when you put your best foot forward.”

– Saga Magazine

THE REMARKABLE STORY OF A THOUSAND-MILE JOURNEY ACROSS BRITAIN

by Raynor Winn ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 5, 2023

Winn exudes the soul of a poet and the grit of a survivor.

Over mountain and moor, nourished and restored by wilderness.

Eight years after Moth Winn was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disorder, he and his wife, Raynor, set out on a valedictory walk of epic length: a four-month, 1,000-mile trek from the Scottish Highlands back to their home in southwest England. Though they embarked during the height of the pandemic, they were encouraged by the possibility that intense physical exertion could work its magic and forestall the worsening of his condition. This affecting chronicle continues the narrative of Raynor’s previous two books, The Salt Path and The Wild Silence , with the customary observations on environmental degradation and human shortsightedness. The text is also an engaging travelogue and a powerful evocation of place and personality, rugged landscapes and distinctive cultures. It may be a cliché to say this book is inspiring, yet it is, and it’s every bit as much about the Winns’ inner lives as their adventure. The narrative is so vividly drawn and emotionally resonant that most readers will come to feel like one of the family, sharing their pain and uncertainty and eventual triumph. Above all, there is the strength and durability of their marriage, which has weathered homelessness as well as illness. If, occasionally, her otherwise admirable ecological awareness skirts the precipice of sermonizing, it can be forgiven, so fundamental is her devotion to the wild and belief in its healing powers. One’s admiration for the Winns runs so deep it seems churlish to say her account may strain credulity here and there, but readers will give her the benefit of the doubt. This is an unforgettable story about fragility girded by resolve and the courage to keep going, even if it’s just that one more step, and to hold fast to hope.

New York Times Bestseller

by Stephanie Johnson & Brandon Stanton illustrated by Henry Sene Yee ‧ RELEASE DATE: July 12, 2022

A blissfully vicarious, heartfelt glimpse into the life of a Manhattan burlesque dancer.

A former New York City dancer reflects on her zesty heyday in the 1970s.

Discovered on a Manhattan street in 2020 and introduced on Stanton’s Humans of New York Instagram page, Johnson, then 76, shares her dynamic history as a “fiercely independent” Black burlesque dancer who used the stage name Tanqueray and became a celebrated fixture in midtown adult theaters. “I was the only black girl making white girl money,” she boasts, telling a vibrant story about sex and struggle in a bygone era. Frank and unapologetic, Johnson vividly captures aspects of her former life as a stage seductress shimmying to blues tracks during 18-minute sets or sewing lingerie for plus-sized dancers. Though her work was far from the Broadway shows she dreamed about, it eventually became all about the nightly hustle to simply survive. Her anecdotes are humorous, heartfelt, and supremely captivating, recounted with the passion of a true survivor and the acerbic wit of a weathered, street-wise New Yorker. She shares stories of growing up in an abusive household in Albany in the 1940s, a teenage pregnancy, and prison time for robbery as nonchalantly as she recalls selling rhinestone G-strings to prostitutes to make them sparkle in the headlights of passing cars. Complemented by an array of revealing personal photographs, the narrative alternates between heartfelt nostalgia about the seedier side of Manhattan’s go-go scene and funny quips about her unconventional stage performances. Encounters with a variety of hardworking dancers, drag queens, and pimps, plus an account of the complexities of a first love with a drug-addled hustler, fill out the memoir with personality and candor. With a narrative assist from Stanton, the result is a consistently titillating and often moving story of human struggle as well as an insider glimpse into the days when Times Square was considered the Big Apple’s gloriously unpolished underbelly. The book also includes Yee’s lush watercolor illustrations.

LOVE, PAMELA

LOVE, PAMELA

by Pamela Anderson ‧ RELEASE DATE: Jan. 31, 2023

A juicy story with some truly crazy moments, yet Anderson's good heart shines through.

The iconic model tells the story of her eventful life.

According to the acknowledgments, this memoir started as "a fifty-page poem and then grew into hundreds of pages of…more poetry." Readers will be glad that Anderson eventually turned to writing prose, since the well-told anecdotes and memorable character sketches are what make it a page-turner. The poetry (more accurately described as italicized notes-to-self with line breaks) remains strewn liberally through the pages, often summarizing the takeaway or the emotional impact of the events described: "I was / and still am / an exceptionally / easy target. / And, / I'm proud of that ." This way of expressing herself is part of who she is, formed partly by her passion for Anaïs Nin and other writers; she is a serious maven of literature and the arts. The narrative gets off to a good start with Anderson’s nostalgic memories of her childhood in coastal Vancouver, raised by very young, very wild, and not very competent parents. Here and throughout the book, the author displays a remarkable lack of anger. She has faced abuse and mistreatment of many kinds over the decades, but she touches on the most appalling passages lightly—though not so lightly you don't feel the torment of the media attention on the events leading up to her divorce from Tommy Lee. Her trip to the pages of Playboy , which involved an escape from a violent fiance and sneaking across the border, is one of many jaw-dropping stories. In one interesting passage, Julian Assange's mother counsels Anderson to desexualize her image in order to be taken more seriously as an activist. She decided that “it was too late to turn back now”—that sexy is an inalienable part of who she is. Throughout her account of this kooky, messed-up, enviable, and often thrilling life, her humility (her sons "are true miracles, considering the gene pool") never fails her.

About this book

Book summary.

The powerful story of a 1,000-mile healing walk—from the lochs of Scotland to England's southwest coast—in a remarkable evocation of modern-day Britain.

Raynor Winn knows that her husband Moth's health is declining, getting worse by the day. She knows of only one cure. It worked once before. But will he—can he?—set out with her on another healing walk? The Cape Wrath Trail is hundreds of miles of grueling terrain through Scotland's remotest mountains and lochs. But the lure of the wilderness and the beguiling beauty of the awaiting glens draw them northwards. Being one with nature saved them in their darkest hour years earlier—and their hope is that this experience can work its magic again. So Raynor and Moth embark on an incredible thousand-mile journey: from Scotland to the familiar shores of the South West Coast Path, from Northumberland to the Yorkshire moors, and from Wales to home again. As they map with each step the landscape of their island nation, they find themselves facing existential questions—about themselves and about their country—during this epic, inspiring odyssey.

About this book

Some people live to walk. Raynor and Moth walk to live . . . Raynor Winn knows that her husband Moth's health is declining, getting worse by the day. She knows of only one cure. It worked once before. But will he – can he? – set out with her on another healing walk? The Cape Wrath Trail is over two hundred miles of gruelling terrain through Scotland's remotest mountains and lochs. But the lure of the wilderness and the beguiling beauty of the awaiting glens draw them northwards. Being one with nature saved them in their darkest hour and their hope is that it can work its magic again. They embark on an incredible thousand-mile journey from Scotland back to the familiar shores of the South West Coast Path. From Northumberland to the Yorkshire moors, Wales to the South West, Raynor and Moth map with each step the landscape of an island nation facing an uncertain path ahead. In Landlines , she records in luminous prose the strangers and friends, wilderness and wildlife they encounter on the way – it's a journey that begins in fear but can only end in hope.

Review: Landlines by Raynor Winn

Two hikers approach a mountain shelter on the Cape Wrath Trail in the Scottish Highlands

Raynor Winn tells the emotional and inspiring journey of walking Scotland’s Cape Wrath Trail with her husband, who was suffering from a degenerative illness at the time

Review by Charlie Connelly

Walking the 320-kilometre Cape Wrath Trail through the north of Scotland looked like an achievable undertaking for Raynor Winn and her husband, Moth, who at the time was suffering from a degenerative illness. The plans for the jaunt, after all, had been laid out during a warm Cornish spring, when the hardships and perils of what’s considered to be one of Britain’s most challenging long-distance walks appeared remote.

Corticobasal degeneration can cause gradually worsening problems, among other complications, with movement, speech and memory. It would hardly seem to be a condition designed to inspire a tramp through the wilds of the Highlands. The very name sends out an unequivocal warning of what lay in store for these two intrepid walkers.

Trouble emerges even before they set off. Moth collapses on the ground ‘like a dead tree in a high wind’ near their Cornish home. Bringing him around, Raynor proposes a visit to the doctor, only to be met with fatalism. On the trail, Moth, who can barely muster the strength to chat with a couple of mountain bikers they meet, falls headfirst into a stream.

In spite of the mishaps and travails suffered on what becomes a 1,600-kilometre journey back to the shores of the South West Coast Path, they plod on, Raynor never losing confidence in the therapeutic benefits of their gruelling challenge. On they go, resigned to letting fate take its course. ‘Is a thousand miles far enough to turn darkness into light?’ the author asks herself. Can remorselessly pushing a body, weak and besieged with pain, reverse the symptoms of what’s held to be an irreversible degenerative disease? These are the questions that beset Raynor, their mission accomplished, as they wait for the consultant to give them the results of Moth’s DAT scan. Moth says he’s feeling better than he has for years, although he’s sceptical about living to see ‘the screen light up like a Christmas tree’.

Raynor takes Moth’s hand, looking anywhere but at the screen. What the scan results show is best discovered by the reader, who may struggle to keep a dry eye.

Balnakeil Bay in the Scottish Highlands

Landlines by Raynor Winn review – back on the trail

The author of The Salt Path returns with another heartwarming odyssey, this time on one of the wildest walks in Britain

“I ’m not really sure why I’m here, lying in a bin-bag on the side of a hill, but I’m strangely glad that I am,” writes Raynor Winn, part of the way through her latest walking odyssey with her husband, Moth. She won’t be the only one glad. With her previous books, The Salt Path and The Wild Silence , having sold more than a million copies, Winn’s fans are legion and they won’t be disappointed by Landlines. Its pages offer the same potent blend of big themes (the climate crisis, extinction, migration, food security, homelessness, terminal illness, friendship) illuminated by intimate details, small observations, and a sort of magic as simple and complex as love itself. I’ve never met Ray or Moth, but it’s hard not to feel I’d know them at a glance, even from a great distance, by the comfortable glow of their old and intricate partnership, fray-edged and worn to exquisite imperfection.

The story of Landlines is another leap of faith, another long walk. Some things have changed: Ray and Moth no longer pass unrecognised, they are no longer homeless, they no longer have to survive on the most meagre of trail rations, but the shadow of Moth’s illness – a condition known as corticobasal degeneration – has not gone away. In fact, it has encroached further, as the doctors said it would, albeit more slowly than anyone expected. After a relapse and a grim consultation, they do what they have done before in the face of disaster, and hit the trail. Not just any trail, but the toughest and wildest Britain has to offer: the Cape Wrath. I’ll resist spoilers, but it doesn’t go according to plan.

No matter: like the migrant cuckoos that inspire her, and the resident skylarks and golden eagles whose voices and struggles are woven through the narrative, Winn is someone in whom hope swells larger than doubt. There are other avian totems too. Perhaps the most poignant is the golden plover, which manifests for weeks as a mysterious call in the dark. If that one note, sung night after night, could be said to represent any of the themes in this wonderful book, it would be resilience. There are other recurring motifs too – the gift of friendship and the kindness of strangers, even during the strange phobia-inducing times of Covid-19.

after newsletter promotion

Golden plover.

Winn seems to have a bird’s-eye view of Britain – a map at her feet, a keen eye for detail, particularly for social injustice. Hers is a voice of empathy and integrity, and her points are never made polemically, but by the simple observation of others’ experiences. She highlights the effects of policy and socioeconomic trends as they ripple, sometimes rip, though people’s lives. When they meet dozens of youngsters roaming with plans to spend a night on the Scottish summit of Suilven , she notes that anyone doing the same in most of England would be breaking the law, in a society where there is “no encouragement to further our understanding of our natural heritage … rather the opposite”.

It’s not only landscape and geography that make this a very British adventure. There is an obsession with tea and salty chips that will be familiar to most long-distance walkers, and an understandable preoccupation with the weather, particularly precipitation. Water permeates the pages – but it is punctuated by bursts of dazzling light that are a special property of both our beloved rainy isle and of Winn’s writing. The walk becomes, as life often is, a quest for these moments, “a hope, a need, a prayer for the dance of light to resume”.

About Jenny Slate

Critically-acclaimed actress, comedian, and NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Jenny Slate is one of the most versatile creators working today. Slate is best known for her starring role in A24’s OBVIOUS CHILD and for A24’s Academy nominated MARCEL THE SHELL WITH SHOES ON.

Slate most recently released her new comedy special, JENNY SLATE: SEASONED PROFESSIONAL on Prime Video. The one hour special proves that being brave for love is worth it—even when it comes to pushing out a baby, stalking your therapist, or trusting your partner to not destroy you. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and A24, the special premiered worldwide to rave reviews on February 23, 2024.

Slate recently wrapped production on FX’s new miniseries “Dying for Sex” in which she stars opposite Michelle Williams. The series is based on the popular podcast series of the same name by Nikki Boyer in which a woman diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer leaves her unhappy marriage and embarks on a series of sexual adventures to help her feel alive.

In Summer 2022, Slate co-created, co-wrote, co-produced and voiced the titular character of Marcel in A24’s Academy Award nominated film MARCEL THE SHELL WITH SHOES ON. The film was released on June 24, 2022 and has gone on to receive widespread acclaim including the NBR Award for “Best Animated Feature” and a New York Film Critics Circle Award for “Best Animated Feature” in addition to Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Critics Choice Award nominations. The film is an extension of the widely popular online short film of the same name, which Slate co-created in 2010 with Dean Fleischer-Camp. The short has been viewed over 30 million times to date. It was then turned into a NEW YORK TIMES best-selling children’s book series.

In Spring 2022, Slate was seen in A24’s Academy Award winning EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE, a science fiction film written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. Slate appears in the film opposite Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Harry Shum Jr., James Hong, and Jamie Lee Curtis. She won a 2023 SAG Award in the category of “Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture” for her role in the film. The film was released in theaters on March 25, 2022 and received an Academy Award for “Best Picture.”

Slate made her feature film debut in 2014 in A24’s critically acclaimed OBVIOUS CHILD. Slate starred in the film as Donna opposite Jake Lacy, Gaby Hoffman, Gabe Hoffman, and David Cross. Slate won a Critics’ Choice Award for “Best Actress in a Comedy” and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for “Best Female Lead Actor” and a Gotham Award for “Breakthrough Actor” for her role in the film.

Slate’s other major starring film credits include a starring turn in Amazon Prime’s hit romantic comedy I WANT YOU BACK as Emma, the aimless but lovable partner in crime and love interest of Charlie Day’s Peter. Along with Day, Slate starred opposite an incredible cast including Gina Rodriguez, Scott Eastwood, Manny Jacinto, and Clark Backo. I WANT YOU BACK premiered on Amazon Prime on February 11th, 2022. Other films include Sony’s VENOM with Tom Hardy, A24 and AppleTV+’s ON THE ROCKS with Bill Murray and Rashida Jones, Amazon’s comedy LANDLINE with John Turturo and Edie Falco, FOX Searchlight’s GIFTED, Netflix’s THE POLKA KING.

In November 2019, Slate published her latest book LITTLE WEIRDS. LITTLE WEIRDS, released by the Hachette Book Group and excerpted in The New Yorker twice, is a critically acclaimed collection of non-fiction, personal pieces, which became an instant New York Times best-seller.

In October 2019, Slate’s comedy special JENNY SLATE: STAGE FRIGHT was released on Netflix. The special was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award for “Best Comedy Special.” Slate’s first stand-up special, JENNY SLATE: STAGE FRIGHT is a mix of stage time, funny stories about adulthood and conversations with family in her childhood home.

2024 rocket mortgage classic prop bet picks and pga tour predictions, share this article.

The PGA Tour is in Detroit this week for the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic , a relatively new event on the schedule. Detroit Golf Club is hosting the 6th tournament once again, giving players ample scoring opportunities at a course that always yields low scores.

Below, we search for the best value prop bets from BetMGM Sportsbook among the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions .

After finishing 2nd last week at the Travelers Championship, losing in a playoff to Scottie Scheffler, Tom Kim is the betting favorite in Detroit at +1200. Cameron Young , who fired a 59 in Round 3 at the Travelers, has the 2nd-best odds at +1400, followed by Akshay Bhatia (+2000) and Min Woo Lee (+2000). Defending champion Rickie Fowler  is +4000 to win this event for the 2nd straight year.

Detroit Golf Club is a par 72 and 7,370 yards. It’s a course that long hitters typically excel at, giving them opportunities to cut corners and hit wedges into these receptive greens. The rough isn’t very penal, either, lessening the importance of hitting fairways. The winning score last year was 24-under and it has been between 18-under and 26-under in each of the tournament’s 5 years.

Rocket Mortgage Classic – Top-5 picks

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook ; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 10:44 a.m. ET.

Min Woo Lee (+350)

Lee hasn’t been in contention since he finished 2nd at the Cognizant Classic in May, but very quietly, he’s finished between 21st and 26th in each of his last 5 starts this season. He’s a bomber who should be able to take advantage of this layout, though we don’t have any past course history to go off of with this being his tournament debut.

Alex Noren (+500)

Noren may not have the length that winners of this event have had, but that hasn’t stopped him from finding success. He’s finished 9th and 4th in his last 2 starts here, and he’s now playing the best golf of his career. He has yet to win a PGA Tour event, but he’s come close before, and he could have another close call again this week.

At one point last week, Young was 15-under in a 22-hole stretch between Rounds 3 and 4. He faded down the stretch on Sunday with a 1-over back-9, but he’s riding some momentum after a good week in Connecticut. Another winless player seeking his 1st victory, this could be the week he breaks through at a very easy course where length off the tee helps.

Rocket Mortgage Classic – Top-10 picks

Keith mitchell (+300).

Few players in the world are striking the ball better than Mitchell. From tee-to-green, he ranks 7th in strokes gained, and he’s 5th off the tee. He’s plenty long enough to take advantage of this favorable layout, ranking 16th in driving distance, but he desperately needs his putter to wake up.

Taylor Pendrith (+250)

Pendrith has 1 win this season and in his last 4 starts, including the Memorial and U.S. Open, he’s finished between 16th and 33rd. In fact, going back to the Corales Puntacana Championship in April, Pendrith has 7 top-25 finishes in his last 9 starts with just 1 missed cut.

Cam Davis (+500)

Davis, a past champion here, will get to use his length off the tee to his advantage again this week. Since winning in 2021, he’s finished 14th and 17th at this event, showing consistent success in Detroit over the last 3 years.

Rocket Mortgage Classic – Top-20 picks

Nicolai hojgaard (+200).

Hojgaard made his debut in this event last year, finishing 21st. He’s been lacking high finishes as of late, but all he needs is a top 20 here, which he came close to hitting last year. The Dane ranks 20th in driving distance but his putter has been cold all year, ranking 121st in SG: putting.

Jake Knapp (+350)

Knapp has had a rollercoaster year with a win, 2 other top-5s and 5 missed cuts. You have to pick and choose when to bet on the up-and-coming American, and this is a good week to ride with him. He’s 22nd in driving distance and 100th in accuracy, but thankfully, missed fairways isn’t too penalizing at Detroit Golf Club.

Rocket Mortgage Classic – Matchups

Suggested play is golfer in bold .

Cameron Young (+115) vs. Tom Kim (-145)

I’m fading Kim a bit in Detroit, with this being his 9th straight week teeing it up. Yes, he played remarkably well at the Travelers Championship, but that course fit his game much better, being on the shorter side distance-wise. I’ll take Young and his distance at plus-money.

Keith Mitchell (+105) vs. Stephan Jaeger (-135)

It might not be wise to bet against the long-hitting Jaeger, but looking at Mitchell’s ball-striking numbers, it’s hard not to like his chances this week in Detroit if the putter is even slightly above average.

Rocket Mortgage Classic – Top Canadian

Taylor pendrith (+125).

There are 5 Canadians in the field but only Pendrith and Adam Svensson (+175) have odds shorter than +500. For the reasons outlined above, I like Pendrith to play well this week.

Rocket Mortgage Classic – First-round leader

Cameron young (+2800).

Young shot 59 on Saturday and has always been a player who can go exceptionally low at any moment. With an early tee time (7:40), he could set the pace on Thursday morning with a solid start.

Alex Noren (+4500)

Noren ranks 6th on tour in Round 1 scoring average and already has 2 top-10 finishes at this event.

Rocket Mortgage Classic – To make the cut

Bhatia, pendrith and jaeger: yes (+130).

Bhatia is building momentum after a top-5 at the Travelers Championship, Pendrith has been great in his last 4 starts and Jaeger is a winner already this year with impressive length off the tee.

Hillary Clinton to publish new memoir this fall

“Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty” will be out Sept. 17.

Hillary Clinton will publish a new book — her 11th — on Sept. 17, publisher Simon & Schuster announced Tuesday.

The memoir, “Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty,” will arrive just seven weeks before Election Day. It will be both personal and political, reflecting on her marriage, friendships and the process of aging, as well as offering her views on topics including Russia and the upcoming U.S. election. Clinton will also narrate the audiobook version. Her tour for the book will include stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and Washington.

“The book reads like you’re sitting down with your smartest, funniest, most passionate friend over a long meal,” Simon & Schuster editor in chief Priscilla Painton said in a news release. “This is the Hillary Americans have come to know and love: candid, engaged, humorous, self-deprecating — and always learning.”

According to the publisher, “Something Lost, Something Gained” will also share Clinton’s experiences canoeing with an ex-Nazi who wants to deprogram white supremacists and evacuating women from Afghanistan at the end of the war.

Her most recent memoir — “What Happened,” her account of the 2016 election — sold 300,000 copies in its first week , The Washington Post’s Ron Charles reported in 2017. In his review for The Post, David Weigel described the book as “raw,” “bracing,” and by turns “bitter” and “corny”: “a meditation on powerful women, a test run for the speeches Clinton will give for the rest of her life.”

Clinton has also co-written a mystery novel with Louise Penny and released children’s books , including “Grandma’s Gardens,” co-authored with her daughter, Chelsea.

Former president Bill Clinton will also release a memoir this year: “Citizen,” which delves into his post-presidential life, will be published Nov. 19 by Knopf.

A previous version of this article gave the incorrect date that “Citizen” will be released. It is Nov. 19, not Nov. 17. The article has been corrected.
